    Thank you for sharing your positive birth story. I just gave birth to my 3rd at a birthing center two days ago and it was amazing. My 1st was an emergency csection. My 2nd was an unmedicated hospital VBAC birth, and now I finally got the birth I'd prayed and dreamed about. I did hypnobirthing since 32 weeks and it really helped. Listening to positive birth stories helped as well!

    What a beautiful baby ! My fourth was pretty much identical to your story. It was a great experience, there is nothing like the euphoria of meeting your new baby. My fourth is all grown up now and a labor and delivery nurse welcoming little babes into the world every day. Thanks for sharing your positive natural birth story, it is not easy, at ALL but the reward is great. Not being fearful and hearing positive experiences is a valuable thing for expectant moms to hear.

    I am pregnant with my 4th right now, I had my first in the hospital because we lived in a state where home birthing was very difficult, and then we had our last two at home. We overall had good experiences everywhere, but I had a couple of complications that were quickly got under control, the last time, and it made me a little unsettled... So we're thinking about maybe choosing to give birth at my Midwife's birthing clinic which is near the hospital, this time. We do have the option to have another homebirth if we want to. Are there any reasons why you chose to go with a birth center after having homebirths? I'm curious because we're in the same boat, and still trying to make a decision.

      I never had a home birth. My first three were born at the hospital. I kind of wanted a home brith but my husband wasn't completely on board. We compromise on a birth center birth!

    My 4th was born on his due date as well, and I also have one daughter who is the 3rd.

    I thought my 5th pregnancy was similar to my girl pregnancy, but he ended up being another boy 😅 4 boys! Listening to birth stories makes me want to experience it again, even though it is SO painful & I also think I’m never doing this again, but here we are with 5!

    I am also curious...(i hope you do not mind my asking) did you and your sister get raised in the natural way the both of you now live by? Big families, home births, natural foods and products? I wonder if this was role modeled in your home...I have always had this tendency since I educated myself (Lamaze childbirth in the 1970's/breastfeeding and homemade/home-cooked foods) but it is going against the mainstream in many ways now...

    • @ouroilyhouse
      @ouroilyhouse  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually we weren't really raised this way at all. Just something that we both got into later on in life. :)

    When putting positive birth story it’s probably not the best idea to explain the transition to the down stage as the most painful thing because now having watched your video I am back to being anxious about my birth 🫣

      It was still a very positive experience. 💗

      I thought the same thing but the lesson here was SQUAT if your baby is posterior and causing extra pain!!
