I'm confused, the video says it is Yang Vs Bakugo, but it appears to be Yang versus a Bakugo cosplayer... ...seriously though, Bakugo is way out of character. =/ The animation is nice, but his *actual* temperament is more than sufficient to get him fighting someone else. So is Yang's, for that matter.
Everyone that says it a RWBY fans yet hardly anyone points out that Bakugo would never do such thing he would just yell at her n it wont even be a sexist remark or offending remark.

I typical made things a tie by out smarting her, and nowadays I tend to win, so while i get this, I wish I could I could relate just a tiny bit more, because I have a now 55 45 split in average against my sister in fights won against the other.
Yeah, I could tell Yang was going to win just based on how they animated her expressions half-way through the fight. If there's "no research", then the animator's just picking their favorite.
@Whiterose Petal Tale Like I said, this is before she got her arm cut off. The sprites used for Yang are from BlazBlue's crossover game. They used the designs from Team RWBY BEFORE their split in Volume 3. In other words, this is Yang BEFORE she lost her arm. Plain and simple.

I knew who would win when Bakugo touched her hair. The strange part was how calm and collected Yang was through the fight. I mean when we are talking about her, of course.
Well it’s possible that this is Post-Fall of Beacon, where she pretty much solved her anger issues and grew to be a better fighter, but they didn’t have a sprite for her timeskip outfit and arm.
iakin tloin Neo’s fight happened after Yang had spent the previous 24 hours fighting monsters nonstop, and Adam cut through Yangs aura without even letting her hit him. In their second fight, Yangs power boost wrecked him.
Fidel Yonathan Adam won because he used power that he had already built up in his weapon against yang who blindly charged him. And Neo won because she used Yang’s momentum against her.
Basically all characters in RWBY have a crazy advantage with their Aura. They can shrug off what would be fatal wounds to most people in the boku no hero universe.
@@AC3Rarin It's always there. Here's an example, when Yang lost her arm she still had Aura, but Adam's Semblance cut through it. It looked like she didn't have Aura, but she did.

@@Starnyx bakugo activated Yang's trap card. Yang used disarm it was very effective. Yang would possibly win in that fight because bakugo doesn't aim his quirk directly at people. Yang would go full out.
I agree that Yang wins. *BUT* Bakugo was wrongly portrayed, he is INTELLIGENT, anger FUELS him not CONTROLS. He is extremely intellectual and very tactical although his public image is that he’s just a hotheaded mess, it’s emphasized that he is a GENIUS. The way he uses his quirk, analyses situations and assess enemy strength is overlooked as “ego”. Would've beena great fight especially with Bakugo's ingenuity but because of Yang’s OP durability AND semblance, she wins. Why? Quirks are physical abilities, it drains stamina while Yang’s guns are just.... weapons. Not only that but with Yang’s semblance, the more bakugo hits and uses up his stamina, the stronger Yang’s firepower gets. I imagine there is a lot of hate towards the result because bakugo wasn’t portrayed right. But overall I think the outcome was right.

Note: I watch both RWBY and BNHA, and I’m basing my analysis from 2 1/2 seasons of BNHA and 5 Volumes (seasons) of RWBY. Bakugo can strategically think and analyze the situation (not as fast as Deku sometimes but still pretty fast for a what..14 yr old when the series starts?). He just uses his anger to fuel himself, but he can fight well with or without his anger. His gauntlets should’ve been used, but once he finds out about Yang’s semblance, he would try not to use it that much-unless he found out about the semblance rule and uses it when her aura is low. (Which he could possibly do because analyzation). Yang doesn’t really rub me off as a strategic thinker, more like an executer to a plan. I mean, she does think, but not as fast as Deku or Bakugo. In spite of this, Yang has more experience (because she’s 17 in the beginning of RWBY). Her semblance also makes her a force to be reckon with, but it depends on her aura as well. Both of them against each other would be a really, *really* close match. In the end, I could say that if we were going with first season Bakugo VS first season Yang, Yang would win. But if it was season 3 Bakugo VS season 5 Yang, I think they would agree on a tie and respect each other. Mature Bakugo would definitely NOT insult Yang like that unless she did more things on top of stealing his kill. And Yang would either be cocky back, or not care at all! They definitely matured well over the years. Personally I agree with the assessment that Yang, through much of the characters' respective storylines, would beat Bakugo. (Excpet when she was crippled) She's a seasoned fighter, and even if Bakugo is smarter than he looks, experience matters. And that's not including that while Bakugo has better power and reflexes, Yang is tankier and gets stronger after taking hits. While I'm pleased by the outcome, what's with it looking like a one-sided fight with Bakugo blinded by anger? And ending with put calling kettle black?
I think what they were going for here was their first season versions, the telltale sign being Yang has both arms. It would certainly explain Bakugo just being a complete asshole in this.
@Ryan Luther If it's season 1, Yang definitely wins due to experience alone. @Lolt West That's kinda the problem. He needs time to find a way to beat her. The longer the fight goes on, the stronger she gets. Even if he realizes this, her fighting experience and tankiness will be a hard match against his superior reflexes and intellect. And once she reaches a certain level of power, the fight's over. His win condition is beating her in a burst shot so she can't take advantage of her semblance--which is unlikely to happen given her durability--or disabling her without triggering her semblance, which I highly doubt he can do.
Yang was always going to win this, she has superior fighting style, more training and experience, is stronger then him, can take much more damage thanks to her aura, and she has a "super form" type thing that makes her stronger the more damage she takes, bakugo never stood a chance.
Hard to say really. I'm going to give it to yang on this one. If I'm taking the scenario of this video, in which they don't know each other. Yang would have the advantage because of her semblance. See, Bakugou at this stage still has limitations with his quirk. As good as he is. If they go on a grinding fight (which they most likely would) Yang would take the win because she can take the most damage and then reflected it all back, when Bakugou is tired. It's all speculation, of course.

I do agree that Yang wins base on her semblence. Her durability is key to many of her victories. However, Bakugo is not like this. He is smart and calculated. And despite his persona is very level headed. He still would have lost but he wouldn't be such an ass hole and attack someone when the battle was over. The guy knows how to lose.
So, what you are saying is that you have NEVER watched My Hero Academia and that you're just assuming Bakugo's personality based on what you've heard Bakugo Fangirls say.

Bakugou isn't sexist, he treats each sex the same way, a better phrase would've been "Let me teach you something about respect." Cause he needs to learn it for both women and men.
He also knows exactly what to say to piss someone off. Yang led with a line about respecting women, so it's not a stretch to think Bakugou would respond in a way he knows angers people like that, even if he doesn't believe in the sentiment himself.

When hes pissed he doesnt rage out and start attacking without thinking he thinks everyrhing out no matter the amount of rage. @@dreademperor2094 Dumb comment. She was in a no way situation. Blake was on the ground, not moving, and Yang just saw her get stabbed in the abdomen. Anyone with any knowledge of the body (as a martial artist would) is aware of the potential for spinal damage. So Blake is on the ground, potentially paralyzed, likely bleeding out, and Aura either gone or too low to protect her. There is no time for standing around thinking, both ammo types of Ember Celica would have splash damage on Blake if they hit Adam or he blocked, and would hit Blake if he dodged. The ignorance in the TH-cam comments is embarrassing.

Ikr, I love how the kept his attacks super fast and kinetic once they started going, and how many dominated the entire fight. It was obvious who would win but damn that was a good fight.

This is pretty accurate actually. Bakugo's firepower, agility, intellegence, and arsenal variety far exceeds Yang's, but Yang is a lot more skilled, is a better at hand-to-hand combatant, physically way stronger, and has way more durability than Bakugo. And given all she has to do is accumulate damage to make herself stronger, Bakugo was basically just feeding her power from the very beginning.
Yes you are right yang would win but your forgot about bakugous intelligence he wouldve easily found out her ability in the first 30 seconds of that battle then try to counter. He would still lose but he's so damn intelligent he wouldnt just keep attacking head on

Bakugou is incredibly tactical. yang has been outskilled by technical fighters like neo and mercury, and fighters who taunt like bakugou. so perhaps bakugou isnt as durable, but i dont think its as clear cut because yang is the angry and impulsive one, and bakugou spits out more insults than anyone. That and him being a smarter fighter gives him the advantage of controlling the fight despite being out matched in strength and durability.
TBF Bakugo also gets stronger the longer a fight goes on due to accumulation of sweat, but Yang still stomps once her semblance activates so it doesn't really matter.

@@whyamihere4889 MHA character are way more durable than regular humans. For example, Bakugou took a knee to the chin that launched him up several floors into a building and he recovered immediately, jumping down and accelerating himself to be smacked down with another person.

It's a 2v2 2D tag battle game with mechanics similar to Blazblue but utilizing more on fighting with tag battle combos. Its definitely worth a try if you are fan of any of the 4 series. Version 2.0 just came out over a week ago with a new expansion pack bringing 9 new DLC characters and more franchises such as Arcana Hearts, Senran Kagura, and Akatsuki Blitzkampf.

@@Batman-qv1ln yang is more durable, and that why she won this fight. And before you bring up her fight with Neo and Adam, she was already exhausted hence why she lost so quickly. Yang's aura is durable enough for her to slam into multiple concrete pillars while still being able to get back up, and getting knocked into the air for a good minute and starting a conversation after she falls through a roof. Yang also doesn't rely on her semblance as much as she did early on, and now lets it charge up whenever she's in a fight. During the entirety of volume 5, Yang used her semblance a couple of times, and during volume 6, she used it once during her fight with Adam. Yang like Katsuki, is smart when it comes to her approach in fighting ever since volume 5, and she's learned a lot of self control over her anger. Katsuki wss able to fake Yang a few times before she realized what his strategy was. Also considering Yang is durable enough to take non stop damage from Adam, who has a similar semblance, I wouldn't be suprised if she was able to take Katsuki's explosions. Also she does have plenty of fighting experience compared to him. I mean Yang had roughly 3 years of combat training outside of Beacon, if she went to signal like Ruby. And then she has around half a year at Beacon. In remnants time current to volume 6, the Beacon arc happened two years prior, meaning that she's had roughly 5 1/2 years of training. And Yang, since she's a brawler, would have to have a highly durable so that she could take hits, which is exactly what her semblance does. It can absorb the damage she takes and she can dish it out twice as hard, so if Katsuki's explosions are as powerful as they can be, and Yang's aura doesn't get too low and she could use her semblance, she could quickly overtake him in a fight

Yang has the fire power anyday. She fights creatures of darkness on a daily basis and she has the most amazing hand to hand combat skills. Her punches alone are one of the strongest weapons on RWBY

King Arthur It’s kind of is a mix of both. It was created in the US and translated into Japanese and other languages along the way. It also has some similar to characteristics of anime. So it’s like a “western anime” to put it simply
BlueWolfPrince I mean if could be called a American anime I guess because it's copying directly from a Japanese animation style, but again there's also the fact that any American show gets translated into Japanese when being shown in Japan. I tend to think basically a anime is any animation that either is made by Japanese creators, but then there is the issue of French anime like code lyoko or totally spies which are made in France, to me RWBY just doesn't fall into that Japanese animation category and falls more into a cartoon style.
Alright, as epic as this fight was, I feel like you got Bakugo's character all wrong. If anything they both feel a little weird. Bakugo is kind of a horrible person, but he seems to be more brash like that to everybody, I struggle to see him specifically being disrespectful to Yang on the grounds of her being a woman, and carrying on making a joke about it. Especially not after seeing her one shot KO an Aragami (albeit after he already kicked the crap out of it). He'd probably still piss her off pretty quick though, it's just who he is. And while Bakugo's temper is absurd, that usually applies more to his behaviour outside of battle. His fighting style makes him appear like he's a hot head who can't keep his cool because he's screaming like Naruto and his power is to make things explode, it's kinda hard to seem cool and collected. Everyone, particularly the teachers, are constantly commenting on the fact that he's shockingly smart, especially when he's fighting, and only ever loses his cool fighting during his first match against Midoriya because it's a personal grudge. If anything, Yang has shown to have FAR more difficulty controlling her temper than Bakugo, especially when somebody pisses her off, and it's a thing that her own father told her that she needs to control even far later in the chapters. Of course, this is usually a good thing for her, since her power gets a pretty serious boost when she gets pissed off while Bakugo seems to be a lot more dangerous when controlling his power, like when using his AP shot. It ended up feeling odd watching because the characters were pretty spot on on the surface level, and pretty hilarious at that, but it didn't feel quite right. It kinda felt like watching Gon act like a typical shonen protagonist in his fight against Midoriya. With all of that said, this fight was siiiiiicck!
I kind of take the approach from Death Battle, and say Yang won fair and square. While they both lack actual armor, Bakugo only had his Quirk and costume traits to really rely on, as well as his combat training. But Yang, to me, has more experience, not just fighting people, but monsters, and having her pugilist skills more flushed out. Then we come to AURA and her SEMBLANCE. While yes, Bakugo had more literal firepower, Yang's aura would have given her quicker defense and healing, and all of that damage could have been turned against Bakugo at the end of the fight for a decisive blow. Sorry, Kacchan, but your explosive sweat just couldn't hold a candle to Remnant's resident burning sun, Yang Xiao Long!
Josh Rose o i agree bakugou May learn from battling but he would not be able to understand aura or semblance because he would consider a semblance a quirk even though they are different and he wouldn't be able to understand aura since it's just a natural shield
I dont mind that Bakuou lost but I think he shouldnt have lost... Bakugou is way more careful fighting than this... he evaluates his opponent as he fights and his temper doesnt get in his way... my opinion though

Bakugo 'aint that dumb and consumed by rage. He's actually really smart and on the last hit he would had used Yellow's hit to grab it with his hands and use the momentum of the other one to obliberate her face like he did on the second fight of Deku vs Him.
I’m afraid that won’t do much other than piss her off. Since her aura protectors her and makes every hit she receives empower her. Her defense is really good. Not only that but tang is far more experienced. Especially in a close combat battle. Bakugo is tough and tenacious but the only thing that he has that’s better than her would be his destructive capabilities with his quark. He may have a slight chance at long range but that’s not really his specialty. From what I’ve seen he prefers more of a mid to close range approach. Most often the latter. Which in this case really won’t serve him well.
Em, Yang has a forcefield, she can receive a shootgun in her face and her aura can protect her, Bakugo has more destructive power, but the aura give a Advantage to Yang, she is more durable
@@SebaGames1 That was Adam's Semblance actually. He can store up power and throw it out using his sword. Which allows him to basically use energy to even cut through Aura. At least that is my logical conclusion after research. But this exactly is why match-up is pretty meh, Aura disregards rules as it makes the battle far too much uneven in my opinion.
@@SebaGames1 the aura has a limit, to much damage in the aura desactivate the force field, basically she atack someone far stronger than her and with a powerfull semblance, RWBY character are not to strong, they are in a similar level to BNH characters

And Bakugo (as far as we know) doesn't have superhuman strength to the level that Yang does. His firepower (heh) is way above hers, but his physical strength isn't anywhere near Yang's.
I think this is the first time a RWBY character has one on One Minute Melee before too. Ruby lost to Spider Man and otherwise I don't think any other characters have been introduced yet.
And, let's not forget that those are SHOTGUN GAUNTLETS. As strong as Bakugo is, a shotgun blast to the face would take his head clean off. They may have powers, but everyone in MHA is still human. I personally think Bakugo should've won, he has been shown to adapt and out think his opponent in a matter of seconds (if his rage doesn't get too much for him before he starts getting reckless). He is surprisingly tactical, and while he doesn't have that much experience compared to Yang... It wouldn't take long for him to figure out a way to get the fight to equal out to compensate for this. I would liked to see a big budget, one on one fight, where they start by training but then end up going all out. Seeing these two try and outsmart and out power eachother would be amazing to see. Their "don't take no shit" personalities and brawler fighting style would be a sight to behold with Michael Bays explosive style attacks

I agree that Yang wins. *BUT* Bakugo was wrongly portrayed, he is INTELLIGENT, anger FUELS him not CONTROLS. He is extremely intellectual and very tactical although his public image is that he’s just a hotheaded mess, it’s emphasized that he is a GENIUS. The way he uses his quirk, analyses situations and assess enemy strength is overlooked as “ego”. Would've beena great fight especially with Bakugo's ingenuity but because of Yang’s OP durability AND semblance, she wins.
Why? Quirks are physical abilities, it drains stamina while Yang’s guns are just.... weapons. Not only that but with Yang’s semblance, the more bakugo hits and uses up his stamina, the stronger Yang’s firepower gets.
I imagine there is a lot of hate towards the result because bakugo wasn’t portrayed right. But overall I think the outcome was right.

Note: I watch both RWBY and BNHA, and I’m basing my analysis from 2 1/2 seasons of BNHA and 5 Volumes (seasons) of RWBY.
Bakugo can strategically think and analyze the situation (not as fast as Deku sometimes but still pretty fast for a what..14 yr old when the series starts?). He just uses his anger to fuel himself, but he can fight well with or without his anger.
His gauntlets should’ve been used, but once he finds out about Yang’s semblance, he would try not to use it that much-unless he found out about the semblance rule and uses it when her aura is low. (Which he could possibly do because analyzation).
Yang doesn’t really rub me off as a strategic thinker, more like an executer to a plan. I mean, she does think, but not as fast as Deku or Bakugo. In spite of this, Yang has more experience (because she’s 17 in the beginning of RWBY). Her semblance also makes her a force to be reckon with, but it depends on her aura as well.
Both of them against each other would be a really, *really* close match. In the end, I could say that if we were going with first season Bakugo VS first season Yang, Yang would win. But if it was season 3 Bakugo VS season 5 Yang, I think they would agree on a tie and respect each other. Mature Bakugo would definitely NOT insult Yang like that unless she did more things on top of stealing his kill. And Yang would either be cocky back, or not care at all!

Personally I agree with the assessment that Yang, through much of the characters' respective storylines, would beat Bakugo. (Excpet when she was crippled) She's a seasoned fighter, and even if Bakugo is smarter than he looks, experience matters. And that's not including that while Bakugo has better power and reflexes, Yang is tankier and gets stronger after taking hits.
While I'm pleased by the outcome, what's with it looking like a one-sided fight with Bakugo blinded by anger? And ending with put calling kettle black?
I think what they were going for here was their first season versions, the telltale sign being Yang has both arms.
It would certainly explain Bakugo just being a complete asshole in this.

That's kinda the problem. He needs time to find a way to beat her. The longer the fight goes on, the stronger she gets. Even if he realizes this, her fighting experience and tankiness will be a hard match against his superior reflexes and intellect. And once she reaches a certain level of power, the fight's over. His win condition is beating her in a burst shot so she can't take advantage of her semblance--which is unlikely to happen given her durability--or disabling her without triggering her semblance, which I highly doubt he can do.
Yang was always going to win this, she has superior fighting style, more training and experience, is stronger then him, can take much more damage thanks to her aura, and she has a "super form" type thing that makes her stronger the more damage she takes, bakugo never stood a chance.
Hard to say really. I'm going to give it to yang on this one. If I'm taking the scenario of this video, in which they don't know each other. Yang would have the advantage because of her semblance. See, Bakugou at this stage still has limitations with his quirk. As good as he is. If they go on a grinding fight (which they most likely would) Yang would take the win because she can take the most damage and then reflected it all back, when Bakugou is tired. It's all speculation, of course.
Moral of this story: Never mess up Yang’s hair. Ever.

@@dreademperor2094 Dumb comment. She was in a no way situation. Blake was on the ground, not moving, and Yang just saw her get stabbed in the abdomen. Anyone with any knowledge of the body (as a martial artist would) is aware of the potential for spinal damage. So Blake is on the ground, potentially paralyzed, likely bleeding out, and Aura either gone or too low to protect her. There is no time for standing around thinking, both ammo types of Ember Celica would have splash damage on Blake if they hit Adam or he blocked, and would hit Blake if he dodged.

Expected Yang to win, and she did. She has wayy more experience and skill than him, not to mention bakugo's explosions are basically feeding her semblance, and also yang would be able to take a lot of hits since she has an aura.

This is pretty accurate actually. Bakugo's firepower, agility, intellegence, and arsenal variety far exceeds Yang's, but Yang is a lot more skilled, is a better at hand-to-hand combatant, physically way stronger, and has way more durability than Bakugo. And given all she has to do is accumulate damage to make herself stronger, Bakugo was basically just feeding her power from the very beginning.
Yes you are right yang would win but your forgot about bakugous intelligence he wouldve easily found out her ability in the first 30 seconds of that battle then try to counter. He would still lose but he's so damn intelligent he wouldnt just keep attacking head on

Bakugou is incredibly tactical. yang has been outskilled by technical fighters like neo and mercury, and fighters who taunt like bakugou.
so perhaps bakugou isnt as durable, but i dont think its as clear cut because yang is the angry and impulsive one, and bakugou spits out more insults than anyone. That and him being a smarter fighter gives him the advantage of controlling the fight despite being out matched in strength and durability.
TBF Bakugo also gets stronger the longer a fight goes on due to accumulation of sweat, but Yang still stomps once her semblance activates so it doesn't really matter.

@@whyamihere4889 MHA character are way more durable than regular humans. For example, Bakugou took a knee to the chin that launched him up several floors into a building and he recovered immediately, jumping down and accelerating himself to be smacked down with another person.

Its definitely worth a try if you are fan of any of the 4 series. Version 2.0 just came out over a week ago with a new expansion pack bringing 9 new DLC characters and more franchises such as Arcana Hearts, Senran Kagura, and Akatsuki Blitzkampf.

@@Batman-qv1ln yang is more durable, and that why she won this fight. And before you bring up her fight with Neo and Adam, she was already exhausted hence why she lost so quickly.
Yang's aura is durable enough for her to slam into multiple concrete pillars while still being able to get back up, and getting knocked into the air for a good minute and starting a conversation after she falls through a roof.
Yang also doesn't rely on her semblance as much as she did early on, and now lets it charge up whenever she's in a fight. During the entirety of volume 5, Yang used her semblance a couple of times, and during volume 6, she used it once during her fight with Adam.
Yang like Katsuki, is smart when it comes to her approach in fighting ever since volume 5, and she's learned a lot of self control over her anger. Katsuki wss able to fake Yang a few times before she realized what his strategy was.
Also considering Yang is durable enough to take non stop damage from Adam, who has a similar semblance, I wouldn't be suprised if she was able to take Katsuki's explosions.
Also she does have plenty of fighting experience compared to him. I mean Yang had roughly 3 years of combat training outside of Beacon, if she went to signal like Ruby. And then she has around half a year at Beacon.
In remnants time current to volume 6, the Beacon arc happened two years prior, meaning that she's had roughly 5 1/2 years of training.
And Yang, since she's a brawler, would have to have a highly durable so that she could take hits, which is exactly what her semblance does. It can absorb the damage she takes and she can dish it out twice as hard, so if Katsuki's explosions are as powerful as they can be, and Yang's aura doesn't get too low and she could use her semblance, she could quickly overtake him in a fight

Yang has the fire power anyday. She fights creatures of darkness on a daily basis and she has the most amazing hand to hand combat skills. Her punches alone are one of the strongest weapons on RWBY

King Arthur It’s kind of is a mix of both. It was created in the US and translated into Japanese and other languages along the way. It also has some similar to characteristics of anime. So it’s like a “western anime” to put it simply
BlueWolfPrince I mean if could be called a American anime I guess because it's copying directly from a Japanese animation style, but again there's also the fact that any American show gets translated into Japanese when being shown in Japan. I tend to think basically a anime is any animation that either is made by Japanese creators, but then there is the issue of French anime like code lyoko or totally spies which are made in France, to me RWBY just doesn't fall into that Japanese animation category and falls more into a cartoon style.

Alright, as epic as this fight was, I feel like you got Bakugo's character all wrong. If anything they both feel a little weird. Bakugo is kind of a horrible person, but he seems to be more brash like that to everybody, I struggle to see him specifically being disrespectful to Yang on the grounds of her being a woman, and carrying on making a joke about it. Especially not after seeing her one shot KO an Aragami (albeit after he already kicked the crap out of it). He'd probably still piss her off pretty quick though, it's just who he is. And while Bakugo's temper is absurd, that usually applies more to his behaviour outside of battle. His fighting style makes him appear like he's a hot head who can't keep his cool because he's screaming like Naruto and his power is to make things explode, it's kinda hard to seem cool and collected. Everyone, particularly the teachers, are constantly commenting on the fact that he's shockingly smart, especially when he's fighting, and only ever loses his cool fighting during his first match against Midoriya because it's a personal grudge.
If anything, Yang has shown to have FAR more difficulty controlling her temper than Bakugo, especially when somebody pisses her off, and it's a thing that her own father told her that she needs to control even far later in the chapters. Of course, this is usually a good thing for her, since her power gets a pretty serious boost when she gets pissed off while Bakugo seems to be a lot more dangerous when controlling his power, like when using his AP shot.
It ended up feeling odd watching because the characters were pretty spot on on the surface level, and pretty hilarious at that, but it didn't feel quite right. It kinda felt like watching Gon act like a typical shonen protagonist in his fight against Midoriya.
With all of that said, this fight was siiiiiicck!

Yang lets her emotions control her more than bakugo. Bakugo gets angry but he doesnt let that cloud his battle judgement
I kind of take the approach from Death Battle, and say Yang won fair and square. While they both lack actual armor, Bakugo only had his Quirk and costume traits to really rely on, as well as his combat training. But Yang, to me, has more experience, not just fighting people, but monsters, and having her pugilist skills more flushed out. Then we come to AURA and her SEMBLANCE. While yes, Bakugo had more literal firepower, Yang's aura would have given her quicker defense and healing, and all of that damage could have been turned against Bakugo at the end of the fight for a decisive blow. Sorry, Kacchan, but your explosive sweat just couldn't hold a candle to Remnant's resident burning sun, Yang Xiao Long!

Bakugo 'aint that dumb and consumed by rage. He's actually really smart and on the last hit he would had used Yellow's hit to grab it with his hands and use the momentum of the other one to obliberate her face like he did on the second fight of Deku vs Him.
I’m afraid that won’t do much other than piss her off. Since her aura protectors her and makes every hit she receives empower her. Her defense is really good. Not only that but tang is far more experienced. Especially in a close combat battle. Bakugo is tough and tenacious but the only thing that he has that’s better than her would be his destructive capabilities with his quark. He may have a slight chance at long range but that’s not really his specialty. From what I’ve seen he prefers more of a mid to close range approach. Most often the latter. Which in this case really won’t serve him well.

@@SebaGames1 That was Adam's Semblance actually. He can store up power and throw it out using his sword. Which allows him to basically use energy to even cut through Aura. At least that is my logical conclusion after research.
But this exactly is why match-up is pretty meh, Aura disregards rules as it makes the battle far too much uneven in my opinion.

Most of them were students, they ain't even the peak of mha in terms and strength
And Bakugo (as far as we know) doesn't have superhuman strength to the level that Yang does. His firepower (heh) is way above hers, but his physical strength isn't anywhere near Yang's.
I think this is the first time a RWBY character has one on One Minute Melee before too.
Ruby lost to Spider Man and otherwise I don't think any other characters have been introduced yet.
And, let's not forget that those are SHOTGUN GAUNTLETS. As strong as Bakugo is, a shotgun blast to the face would take his head clean off. They may have powers, but everyone in MHA is still human.
I personally think Bakugo should've won, he has been shown to adapt and out think his opponent in a matter of seconds (if his rage doesn't get too much for him before he starts getting reckless). He is surprisingly tactical, and while he doesn't have that much experience compared to Yang... It wouldn't take long for him to figure out a way to get the fight to equal out to compensate for this.
I would liked to see a big budget, one on one fight, where they start by training but then end up going all out. Seeing these two try and outsmart and out power eachother would be amazing to see. Their "don't take no shit" personalities and brawler fighting style would be a sight to behold with Michael Bays explosive style attacks
