Quite a good review mate,I personally fly business class often and to be honest,as reviewed by you,it is very fair that you are showing the areas where the airlines service lacked to meet the expectation and also areas which surpassed expectation. Thank you for sharing. The business class fares are usually double of economy and even if I was in economy ,some of the basics service which lacked such as dirty food table,inattentive crew who forgot what drinks you ordered and also failed to replace your headphones are all questionable because the Airline needs to undertake more training to polish the service delivery. Your video was a good insight into the entire experience from Nadi Airport to Syd so was very useful. Thank you for giving the airline an opportunity to improve its service so other passengers don't experience the same.I loved how you recognized the areas of service delivery which needed to be commended and its very fair to do that and equally important is to highlight the areas which lacked in performance. The Airline needs to realise that its commercial flights were mostly dormant for over 2yrs so please ensure that now when it is fully operational then its service delivery must be highly ACTIVE & EXAMPLARY and way better than pre covid pandemic so passengers prefer to fly it as opposed to competitive Airlines. The Airport checkins crew who yelled at the gates need a radio ph to converse amongst themselves & the staff who disallowed your friends boarding as a PRIORITY despite him telling them he was a business class passenger is again showing lack of training and unempathetic service agent. Had you not showed and told us all of these then the Airline would have never known and thus the service failures would have been repeated . Such a beautiful aircraft. 😍 That wasn’t ranting Jayden … that was entirely justified. The crumbs / lack of cleaning and delays with your food service were unacceptable. I’d be annoyed too. And the boarding process sounded like a complete shambles. Disappointing. Good video though!
I took the same flight on business class and also it's flight from LAX to Nadi. It was really good value for money, but there are things lacking a bit. I had the same issue with the food taking a long time to arrive after placing the order, that being said they were super nice when I wanted to change my lunch order and were able to order something else when we were on the ground. Only thing I was really ticked off about was that the attendant refused to give a drink once we had landed and were stationary.
Good value for money indeed. It’s one of the cheaper (if not cheapest) airlines to fly with in business class between USA and Australia. Now if they do things a bit quicker they’d be my top choice!
@@JaydenWong I think a lot of the problems were due to management firing all the of the cabin crew during the covid lockdowns and employing new new staff, so the service is not so polished, but it's okay. It may take a few more months for the cabin to learn what customers expect. Plus writing things down would help and not having mixups
Great vid, but a bit sad that Fuji were lacking in so many areas. I did wonder during the boarding process if I detected some ageism from the staff, they assuming someone young and casually dressed couldn't possibly be travelling business, some thing I experienced once a LONG time ago!
Probably haha! My friends and I were the youngest in the cabin. One time I was 17 and I was yelling at by a Qantas ground crew to go line up in economy. She apologised when she saw that I was a gold member and upgraded me to business class😂 Sydney to Hong Kong!! One of the best flights ever
Do not apologise for the rant! I though it hilarious! The seat looked comfortable at least. I never wear shorts on an aeroplane to protect the legs. You never know when something will spill in that environment. I also like to travel with a spare shirt. Modern life is so frenetic! Thank you for the video. Have a gala week!

Jayden, this review was certainly different from most of your reviews as you seemed to have multiple problems pop up at the airport and on board the aircraft. I enjoyed it because usually you have a positive experience on your flights. This report was quite objective and I appreciated that. What a shame. I was really happy to see you fly in business for once, and then you get a subpar experience like this. I just flew FRA-KUL in Qatar Business and was also painful remembered, that service is such a crucial part of any product. From my 9 flights in Qatar Business, luckily 7 of them in q-suite, only 1 was as amazing as my high expectation. And that's beside the fact that Q-suite stands as the best hard product in the industry! Anyway, hope you checked out the honest guide channel for you upcoming prague trip.

Nice video Jayden, taken me a while to watch this video. Shame about the slow service, I would of thought they would be better with that, one thing I love about Business Class between Adelaide and Melbourne is you have to get the service underway very fast or you will run out of time.This makes me wanna fly international so bad again... nice video looking forward to seeing the Bamboo airlines videos!
I love Fiji Airways but they really need to improve on their service delivery. The best thing about Fiji Airways is that you feel safe being rest assured that you’re being flown by some of the best pilots in the industry
Looks like consistency could be an issue, having flown same route, aircraft, cabin 2 years ago, just pre pandemic - it was pretty good though boarding was disorderly

That is the first time (if not, ever) that you have posted a constructive criticism review...and I totally agree that some airlines (like Fiji Airways) will need to do better to improve the passengers' experiences, especially Business Class. To be put up by a lack of some lounge facilities, followed up by boarding confusion, a broken entertainment system, dirty seats, and a cabin crew that seem to be slow and inattentive (over a meal that ended up being good), I would say that based on what I seen and what you've felt after the flight, that is NOT a very good experience. 😑 However, the good thing about posting reviews reviews like these is that there are positive and negative aspects that airlines can take to improve the experience, as well as sharing opinions that makes viewers satisfied about what to do when flying. I understand how very frustrating your flight has been, but I hope that you won't be experiencing too many of this in the future (especially as demand for air travel taking off following easing of COVID restrictions). Even though I have not watched many of your reviews since COVID hit, honestly, I am very loyal subscribing to your channel and watching you fulfil your passion of flying and travelling. I hope you have safe and happy journeys this year and I can't wait to watch the next review. (Hopefully, it is better than this one!) 🙂 I wish I want to travel the world like you. Hi Jayden, I'm curious as to how many times you have been to Japan?. My upcoming trip would be my 3rd time. Due to the heat / humidity I am now looking at May 2023. (Just after Golden Week). Booking Hotels for Japan is NOT easy. I usually find I can only get a 6 month booking window. Hope to see you on a plane or at the Airport in Tokyo. (That would be cool to meet you.).

Excellent review as always, would be nice if you could start to focus on lounge and in flight meals more. This is one of the key factors to business class. Very much like the other TH-cam reviewers in the aviation sector.
Very unimpressive when it comes to product and services and cleanliness. Overall a business class standard to me here seems substandard...the island is awesome though. I would have thought the service and product would be awesome but no excuse for broken headphones etc ..seems basic to me!

their economy was great, flew it over to Fiji. Would not hesitate flying them to USA or HK in the future. This flight unfortunately service was appalling, it was one-off
They always run out of meal 😒. You hardly get chance to re order or refill your drinks or food. They will be least bothered to come to you unless you get hold of one..
They should have known that a TH-cam flight experience gentleman was on board. 😂😂😂 Maybe they were newbies serving. Maybe short staffed? I dunno 🤷🏼♂️ But I know how it is in certain restaurants when it seems hours before being served. And things that don't work. Thanks Jayden.

Hi Jayden, when I looked at my recent travel options I went with Singapore & Singapore Airlines. (The service is outstanding.) I did consider Fiji after watching your review. On my trip I really wanted direct flights from Brisbane. Fiji was a one way only option out of Brisbane. The return had to be via Sydney. (Singapore Airlines & the VTL flights gave me the entire row to myself.) I also experienced the entire row on the non VTL flight home which was around 45 to 50% full. Singapore Airlines pricing & direct flights were an absolute winning choice for me. Right now, I am hoping that Japan will open up in the near future. I don't expect that to happen until after July. Your reviews are priceless. A huge help in decision making, as well as expectations. Thank you again Jayden for this channel.
@@JaydenWong I paid $582 AUD return BNE-SIN. (1 was a VTL Flight. 1 was NOT a VTL Flight.). SQ getting cheaper is even more enticing, but I am really waiting for Japan now. P.S. Have you seen the lines at the Thailand International Airports. The numbers are way up for Tourism there, but with more than a few complications for ARRIVALS. (I know Brisbane & Sydney are also busy.)
Jayden, thanks for your trip report. I think I may need to take your advice to another subscriber (maybe former now) ‘don’t watch it’ (so classy!) Firstly, I know it’s stressful to be in an economy airbridge for 5 mins (with economy people), especially when there's a priority to down another champagne in business. Yes, it’s unacceptable when someone doesn’t get their meal choice - how dare those other 32 pax before me, I paid good money for this flight (LoL). You should've piled more food on your plate when you were in the lounge just a short time earlier, (how do you feel when you arrive, bloated and disgusting? All that free food! Yes, it's unacceptable when my headset doesn’t work, and the second doesn’t either - those suppliers/contractors should know I will be onboard. Your gripes are petty. With a busy flight for the crew, 32 other very important pax with their own high maintenance requests, to take into account, things can take longer, and one could never expect the crew to drop all other requests to tend to the tablecloth for 19A. Perhaps when you went to the bathroom, to again be disappointed (no window) , you could’ve worked with the crew, and just requested another headset and a brief explanation.- they would’ve been more than happy to assist. Yes, sometimes other guests before us are higher maintenance and they take longer,- so to have a table cloth in front of you for some time must have been stressful. (You know when you get to the supermarket queue, thinking it’ll be quick, but the customer in front is high maintenance - yes, annoying. But we struggle and persevere) As you may know, that sector is full of tourists who want every cent of value from the dollars they paid - so they’re high maintenance. So, things take longer. What drove me to comment here, besides the silly complaints, was your comment to subscriber EP - ‘then don't watch it! I’. Maybe accept the comment and thank the viewer for watching and grow from their comment. Your response just makes your review and respect for your subscribers that much less valued. Hey, first, I didn’t ‘complain’ how I didn’t get my choice of meal. I simply stated the fact that they ran out of it. Like I always do anyway like how half of my videos I say that! I say what I noticed in my videos, simple as that. I don’t wanna hide facts and then pass on false ideas to my viewers. And hey! That’s why I rarely work with airlines because when they contact me for a free flight, I make it clear to them that I want no extra attention and I’m going to report everything in my videos, good or bad. This is my hobby (not career) since I was 16, let me do it the way that I think is right. Re-headphones, the crew were so busy I reckoned it was easier to notify the airline directly after the flight (I’ve written an email and sent it them) then bothering them. And yes, one might say grow up, it’s just a headphone or BYO. But again, I think it was only right if I mentioned it in my video what went wrong and what went well. It goes both ways. If the seat is comfy I say it, if it gives me back pain I’m going to say it too. I’m no Sam Chui or other big channels who glorify the airlines in their flavours. I hope you understand.
I like Fiji a lot and this Airline. I only concentrate on getting to Fiji safely, whatever is available on board or is not here is no problem.

To be put up by a lack of some lounge facilities, followed up by boarding confusion, a broken entertainment system, dirty seats, and a cabin crew that seem to be slow and inattentive (over a meal that ended up being good), I would say that based on what I seen and what you've felt after the flight, that is NOT a very good experience. 😑
However, the good thing about posting reviews reviews like these is that there are positive and negative aspects that airlines can take to improve the experience, as well as sharing opinions that makes viewers satisfied about what to do when flying. I understand how very frustrating your flight has been, but I hope that you won't be experiencing too many of this in the future (especially as demand for air travel taking off following easing of COVID restrictions).
Even though I have not watched many of your reviews since COVID hit, honestly, I am very loyal subscribing to your channel and watching you fulfil your passion of flying and travelling. I hope you have safe and happy journeys this year and I can't wait to watch the next review. (Hopefully, it is better than this one!) 🙂

Hi Jayden, I'm curious as to how many times you have been to Japan?. My upcoming trip would be my 3rd time. Due to the heat / humidity I am now looking at May 2023. (Just after Golden Week). Booking Hotels for Japan is NOT easy. I usually find I can only get a 6 month booking window. Hope to see you on a plane or at the Airport in Tokyo. (That would be cool to meet you.).

Jayden ... As usual a brilliant review on FJ ... I don't know why FJ does not use the A350-900 or the A330 on the BNE route where I live, somewhat unfair. Also there are no arrival cards or forms anymore entering Australia

Why would an airline use its big wide body aircraft on a route with low passenger numbers? Doesn't make business sense.

@@abdullahjacques2915 I do travel regularly to Australia and I had live there for 3 years. I know what I'm talking about. The A350s are used for the high passenger traffic Sydney-Nadi-LA & SF routes.

Excellent review as always, would be nice if you could start to focus on lounge and in flight meals more. This is one of the key factors to business class. Very much like the other TH-cam reviewers in the aviation sector.

Very unimpressive when it comes to product and services and cleanliness. Overall a business class standard to me here seems substandard...the island is awesome though. I would have thought the service and product would be awesome but no excuse for broken headphones etc ..seems basic to me!

their economy was great, flew it over to Fiji. Would not hesitate flying them to USA or HK in the future. This flight unfortunately service was appalling, it was one-off

They always run out of meal 😒. You hardly get chance to re order or refill your drinks or food. They will be least bothered to come to you unless you get hold of one..

Hi Jayden, when I looked at my recent travel options I went with Singapore & Singapore Airlines. (The service is outstanding.) I did consider Fiji after watching your review. On my trip I really wanted direct flights from Brisbane. Fiji was a one way only option out of Brisbane. The return had to be via Sydney. (Singapore Airlines & the VTL flights gave me the entire row to myself.) I also experienced the entire row on the non VTL flight home which was around 45 to 50% full. Singapore Airlines pricing & direct flights were an absolute winning choice for me. Right now, I am hoping that Japan will open up in the near future. I don't expect that to happen until after July. Your reviews are priceless. A huge help in decision making, as well as expectations. Thank you again Jayden for this channel.

@@JaydenWong I paid $582 AUD return BNE-SIN. (1 was a VTL Flight. 1 was NOT a VTL Flight.). SQ getting cheaper is even more enticing, but I am really waiting for Japan now. P.S. Have you seen the lines at the Thailand International Airports. The numbers are way up for Tourism there, but with more than a few complications for ARRIVALS. (I know Brisbane & Sydney are also busy.)

Firstly, I know it’s stressful to be in an economy airbridge for 5 mins (with economy people), especially when there's a priority to down another champagne in business.
Yes, it’s unacceptable when someone doesn’t get their meal choice - how dare those other 32 pax before me, I paid good money for this flight (LoL). You should've piled more food on your plate when you were in the lounge just a short time earlier, (how do you feel when you arrive, bloated and disgusting? All that free food!
Yes, it's unacceptable when my headset doesn’t work, and the second doesn’t either - those suppliers/contractors should know I will be onboard.

With a busy flight for the crew, 32 other very important pax with their own high maintenance requests, to take into account, things can take longer, and one could never expect the crew to drop all other requests to tend to the tablecloth for 19A.
Perhaps when you went to the bathroom, to again be disappointed (no window) , you could’ve worked with the crew, and just requested another headset and a brief explanation.- they would’ve been more than happy to assist.
Yes, sometimes other guests before us are higher maintenance and they take longer,- so to have a table cloth in front of you for some time must have been stressful. (You know when you get to the supermarket queue, thinking it’ll be quick, but the customer in front is high maintenance - yes, annoying. But we struggle and persevere)
As you may know, that sector is full of tourists who want every cent of value from the dollars they paid - so they’re high maintenance. So, things take longer.
What drove me to comment here, besides the silly complaints, was your comment to subscriber EP - ‘then don't watch it! I’. Maybe accept the comment and thank the viewer for watching and grow from their comment. Your response just makes your review and respect for your subscribers that much less valued. Maybe the 50K will start to diminish.

Hey, first, I didn’t ‘complain’ how I didn’t get my choice of meal. I simply stated the fact that they ran out of it. Like I always do anyway like how half of my videos I say that! I say what I noticed in my videos, simple as that. I don’t wanna hide facts and then pass on false ideas to my viewers. And hey! That’s why I rarely work with airlines because when they contact me for a free flight, I make it clear to them that I want no extra attention and I’m going to report everything in my videos, good or bad. This is my hobby (not career) since I was 16, let me do it the way that I think is right. Re-headphones, the crew were so busy I reckoned it was easier to notify the airline directly after the flight (I’ve written an email and sent it them) then bothering them. And yes, one might say grow up, it’s just a headphone or BYO. But again, I think it was only right if I mentioned it in my video what went wrong and what went well. It goes both ways. If the seat is comfy I say it, if it gives me back pain I’m going to say it too. I’m no Sam Chui or other big channels who glorify the airlines in their flavours. I hope you understand.
