- What a busy weekend this was! , we decided to visit thetford forest caravan and motorhome club site on the journey halfway up to sheringham , purely because we had never been there before , although no facilities it was ideal for woodland walks , Next we went onto laburnum caravan park in west runton , the deep history coast , near sheringham on the north norfolk coast , a beautiful cliff top location with a new and immaculate facilities block , 7 touring pitches ( static hire also available ) and right on top of the north norfolk coastal path , again ideal for walking with a beautiful beach and beach cafe nearby , we highly recommend this place

What a great video... I have not heard the term NAAFI in many years. Spent a little time with the British Army and always enjoyed the fact that we could go to the NAAFI and grab a pint and some chips. Good memories. That coastal view is AMAZING! We love going to the Coast of Oregon. It is always so peaceful and relaxing.. looks like you guys had a great time even though it was so cold!
NAAFI yeah , is it some kind of old term for mess hall ? i wasn’t sure , great looking back at some ww2 memorabilia, love that stuff , we need to get across the pond and experience some real outdoor life , you guys do it right !

Don’t eat yellow snow! Ha ha ha haven’t heard that one for along time . Thetford Forest site is lovely , most pitches under trees so poor tv signal ( clue in the name) 🤣 Well done Kirsty,water filler sorted , dare I say leave it to a woman 😂😂😂 . I’ve been to Thetford Forest 🌳 for some day trips but I haven’t actually stayed there before overnight 🌙! Very good video 😃👍!

Love the video's - we stayed our in our new camper with 3 dogs at Kessingland on saturday night, same layout as yours but a wildax/Renault. Will take some getting used to but a decent first weekend away. Looking at laburnum for a midweeker in the next couple of weeks
laburnum is well worth a visit if you can , beautiful views and walks both ways , the wildax europa is the same layout as ours nice vans , we had 3 dogs too lost one last year they are truly family , thanks for watching our videos much appreciated

The second site had beautiful views. When you walked down by the little shop I recognised it. Looked on Google maps and realised we had stayed at Woodhill campsite a few years ago. Take care Gill

Hi Mike & Kirsty, Thetford Forest Club site looks great, shame no facilities. The little caravan accessory shop at West RUNTON is really good, used it a few times. Gotta love North Norfolk. Cheers Dave & Helen
yes it was a busy weekend at both sites , west runton was lovely as usual , bought some blue & pink from the shop , nice thai restaurant & takeaway next door now , hope you enjoyed the willows 👍

Hello you two..if you are down in west sussex give the c&mhc site at rudgwick a try...No facilities..quiet village with pub..disused railway line to walk the dogs and a micro brewery and cafe within easy walking distance...a no brainer. Have fun.

I haven't been on many sites that have a great TV and some no signal at all . Very frustrating 😕

What a lovely way to do armchair touring? ready for us when we get our van . Testing places out and all doggie friendly to. Really well filmed and you two seem very friendly and a good laugh as well . Thank you for sharing your adventures. There are a good few places in Essex that maybe worth a visit. Like mersea Island?
armchair touring ! i like that 👍 funnily enough a family member went to mersea last week and said they saw a load of motorhomes on pitches next to sandbanks pub/restaurant on the front , i cant get a name for the place after searching but looks a nice area to visit thanks and thanks for watching the video

Great video Mike and Kirstie, Thetford looks a nice site with plenty of walks. But Laburnham Camp Park like you say what views, I’ve noted these sites in my book. Glad the weather was sunny for you even if it was cold 🙂x
