Very, very good advice!! Wish I would have seen your video a week ago. Emailed my boss about some concerns, saying I would like to discuss them. No reply from her...worked 2 more days for her, and at the end of the 2nd day, she let me go; NO discussion, nothing. She was very defensive, and it was short and sweet. In hindsight, I would have not sent the email had I considered the questions posted in the video. There is a lot of sh*t happening in this person's life, and I was collateral damage. It appeared to be a knee-jerk decision, and it's disappointing, but not the end of the world.

This guy is spot on! Its all a game. You as the employee HAVE to know how to play it.

This is spot on! Don't ever challenge your boss in this way. This was exactly how I got fired at my last role. It's a snowball effect sadly.

@@pele4412 Been at my new job six months and it's far better! Don't ever try to go back to a company you were fired from. Many have blacklists that will prevent you from ever getting re-employed there anyway.

It snowballs bc most “bosses” are children and have no business being in a leadership role. Unfortunately.

in all honesty, people's mouths and lack of emotional and professional intelligence is what gets them into the most trouble. Never make a mountain out of a molehill. Take the loss and move on. Never try to retaliate or feel like you need to make some kind of point. Once you are fired, you are fired and nothing you say or do will change that! Learn from the experience and find something new!

I’ve been at jobs were people were terminated due to cuts. And what they stated was it’s not personal but only business. So you must always speak up if need be. And also some advice that an old manager gave me was never stop looking anything can happen at any moment.

Id say No ! When you steal anything while your working,, no matter what it was worth, thats an automatic termination. And i doubt they'd ever rehire you..
