@@antoniokastrocarlisledemel6617 that’s a fair point, it probably did happen in about 30 minutes, but maybe it was a reenactment. I worked at a place that had film crews come through occasionally and it everything happened faster than an emergency response. You’re probably right.

If Rick paid $4500....you'd say the seller should have stood at $5000.
If he had paid $4500 I might have said $4600 but not $5k. I based the $4500 on his desire to acquire the item and what the few left (in that good of condition) are selling for. Ones that nice don't show up often but they do hit the market from time to time. I stand by my assessment. . Also if you call the pawn shop and offer to buy it; I would be he wouldn't sell it for $4500.
Ok. But have they sold for as high as $4000 yet? You might be reasonable in your assessment, but most commenters say they'd buy the items for twice what Rick paid....and yeah, I tell them to call the pawn shop too, and I tell them to buy it.
If Rick is buying something TO SELL in his pawn shop; people should expect he will pay only half to 3/4 the "retail price" (he does have to make money) But with this object, he is not buying it to resell for a profit. Thus it would be reasonable for Rick to pay the FULL retail value.
PS: Rick if you see this; please let us know: wouldn't you have paid $4500 for this item? (Be honest.....)
I bought mine, with a small chip off the top-side, for $225. from The Rock Store in L.A. 1992 . I sold it, to pay a frickin expensive traffic fine, in 2014 for $700 on eBay

I came across one of The Objects today on the internet from RR Auction which sold for $5,545.00 USD. You can get cheap replicas all day long, but the album, Presence, is good enough for me. Great album.
