All I can think whenever I see Grey Knights fighting xenos is that the Inquisition sent them the wrong coordinates and elsewhere there's a group of Deathwatch looking at a daemon horde going "dammit, not again"
😂
This is officially my headcanon
Can confirm, a buddy of mine played death watch, his gf Tzeentch & Nurgle daemons
😂😂😂
The code for “tzeentch cult ritual” and “genestealer cult incursion” are one digit off in the ordo instruction codices.
"Are you taking the piss?"-Classic Simon
I love seeing the hordes of tyranids on the table
Same, though admitedly I prefer the variety swarms.
Fun report, thanks guys! Big Helldivers vibes here and as a new 40k player playing grey knights, it was a very good watch!
37:13 There is another 2 in the tray though..
That's what Simon gets for abandoning his greenskin buddies. Simon, cast aside your frail, broken, Salty Simon shell and fully embrace your inner goblin! Arise and assume your final form as The Great Git of Goblindom, the Supreme Squiglord himself, SLIMY SIMON!!!
the lirbrain gives a 4+ FNP to psychic wounds., so he gets a 4+ to save those mortals he did to himself in the first turn.
psychic attacks. I don't think his ability counts as an attack?
@@quincykunz3481 yeah it does. Can't remember where exactly it says, but it's essentially any damage caused by a psychic ability counts as being caused by a psychic attack.
@@quincykunz3481the rules state that any wounds caused by a psychic ability count as a psychic attack. It's in the rulebook.
@mostly_harmless3789 everything u have stated is correct with the exception that it's any mortal wounds not wounds.
Holy crap your right! I killed my librarian in my last game with vortex of doom!
I didn't think of this
Heroic Intervention has the restriction that you do not get the charge bonus
Also Insane Bravery can only be used in the battle shock step of command phase
The absolute abundance of chitin on that table is incredible.
Im wondering right now how i would fight such a thing 🤔
the grey knight librarian gives the unit feel no pain against the mortal wounds from vortex of doom, its classed as a psychic attack.
Yes the salty rage of my arch nemesis Simon here a start for beer Ill own you after all nefarious schemes.
Great Battle report, thank your for all the content you created for the Unending Swarm. I'll be running my Jormungandr Tyranids with that detachment this coming weekend for a tourney at my LGS.
Kitty is very good at not knocking over models
Great idea on the genestealers + termagant bodies
Hot damn that's an unending swarm and a half!
245 tyranids!?
absolute legend
Love the cat Titan stalking the battlefield!
That is one hell of a swarm!
I think Mordian is secretly a trickster god whose whole purpose is to annoy Simon with luck
That librarian does give his 4+ FNP to the unit against his psychic attack backfiring :)
Thats not an attack though. It's technically an ability
@@IamAlpharius20th This is true, however the FAQ notes that any damage inflicted by an attack or ability that has the 'psychic' keyword is considered to have been inflicted by a 'psychic attack'.
@Killery96 more precisely it's any mortal wounds caused by a ability with the psychic tag are considered psychic attack
"I like big bugs, and I cannot lie!", however little bugs, lots of little bugs, are fun too.
good to see you turning to the swarm, at last.
This reminds me of the video from the thousand sons and grey knight png guys(cant remember the channel name) where they discuss 5 silly lists including a pure gaunt list like this.
Amazing to see it realized now by you in your own form.
Where is The Fall of Kasr Myrak mission? Did I miss it? You’re killing me. 😂
the Swarmlord is a must have unit for me, run him with 3 tyrant guard and you have a tough, kinda fast, lethal unit that can farm cp and basically stop your opponent from using cp rerolls more than once or twice, he's an underrated unit for sure
Someone please tell me where he got that combined platform to throw all of the gaunt on. Did you buy it or did you print it? Because I need those
All I see in this is some teleporting silverware send to deal with the roach infestation. In his name
As ever Mordian, excellent battle!I Would be amazing to get to. back for a game as he is excellent and very entertaining!
Meant Tom
OG Behemoth!
I just noticed that you have battle systems terrain on the table. For how long do you have it and how well is it holding up? I got a few pieces for a fantasy/pirate skirmish game last week and, while it looks good, I'm not sure how long it'll last on a table if you play frequently with it. I also got a small grim dark shanty town for necromunda from them, but as no one plays necromunda in my area I never used it.
Tiamet,,,just cause it’s our new colony we bugs are nesting
I have a 2000point nyd army with 120 termys 80 hormys 20 gargoyles its crazy seeing a real swarm on the table
I was looking at knights with guard, the castelan sorta works as a solar + shadosword + techpriest combo all in one go, could work with a no solar list, otherwise I think solar makes native super heavies better.
You basically need to run Solar if you run a single Super Heavy. Having a quarter of your army be unreliable just is too much value to leave on the table. I think a Ursa formation would work well. Ex: 1 Banesword, 2 Leman Russ Autocannons
How do the nids kill Tanks?
The grey knights player played abyssmal...
I'm... a bug?
Can anyone recommend a good painting service?
WHere are you based?
UK
That's a lot of bugs, lovely
I'm not saying Hive Fleet Jormungandr is the best. I'm just saying that if you think it's bad, I am in your walls
I liked the play on tabletop shade. I'm not a fan of their br style
What they say guess I missed it
@@andosan5995 when the broadcaster voice was going around 36min i believe, he said "we going full play on tabletop now"
