How to Consistently Get Prio Bot as Pyke Support

  • Through coaching I have found that a lot of Pyke players don't know how to play the early phase of the game and that some never do early invades or just do them incorrectly. Therefore I have made an educational video on this subject.
The start of the video is a fragment of one of my coaching sessions with TJ, who gave me permission to share the clip.
It is mostly to give some introduction to the Tribush Tech, but also to show a very little preview of what a coaching session with me might look like.
I tried finding multiple clips to highlight the Tribush Tech, hopefully there wasn't too many :D
I could've shown more what happens when you get the prio and how to play further into the game. Perhaps I will do this in another video - we'll see!
I stream on Twitch every week (Pyke on a Spike) - I apologize for not having a streaming schedule, but I go to University and have a rather unpredictable everyday-life because of this.
And I've got the link to the Coaching Coven Discord server in my TH-cam profile as well as my Twitch profile!
The server is for anyone who wants to join, not just coaching students btw.
If you learnt something, please like and subscribe as I plan on making more videos in the future!
If you have anything you want me to cover, please let me know in the comment section down below and I will be sure to make a video about it if I think it'll be good!!!

so it looks like this is when u dont leash? when exactly would u do this then if the jg expects leash 90% of the time?

I never leash. Tell your jungler to f*** off :)
Nah but I'll be real with you, junglers don't need leash, and every game a jungler is pathing to start botside, I am pinging *danger* on him and *on my way* ping to the lane bush.
If he still aint got the message, I do it again 2 times. If he still stays botside, that's up to him, and his decision. But I ain't giving away free prio to leash a jungler in S14. I also sometimes ping his raptors, cuz he knows he can do them solo!
But make sure u ping early enough for him to have time to move up to his topside camp.

@@maphiAMV I fully believe that junglers don’t NEED leash, while I still understand why they want it. And you are right, a lot of junglers don’t think or plan ahead when taking paths, they just follow camps and react to map.
All good junglers path bot in most of their games now. Focusing on botlane instead of their tank/bruiser top, and win more games because of it.

@@PykeonaSpike yeah it might be true that junglers dont need a leash, but sadly I'm playin at around plat elo where player mindset is very fragile... believe it or not there are people who would run it down just because they didnt get a leash :( thats one of the reasons I would rather choose to leash over cheesin and winning the entire lane yk xD

@@maphiAMV oh, dw, I have met a couple of those xD But it should be worth it, comparing how many games you get prio vs how many games a jungler has a meltdown :P I implore you to try it out, please. It's crucial for Pyke. It's like swimming, but you aren't allowed to use your feet - you aren't unlocking your full potential and are just making it harder to carry!
