4:02 *And* don't leave bot when you're winning and there's still a massive advantage to get out of 2v2 laning. you need to weigh up what you can get out of a roam and how likely it is to work. it's not worth trying to make a low percentage play and letting enemy bot take platings when they're hard losing in lane. if you can get more out of 2v2 laning than making a roam, you don't roam. if you're already winning and botlane is the wincon in your comp, you should play hard *into* bot, not away from it. that doesn't mean don't leave botlane at all, you still open mid after a reset and everything, but make your adc a part of the game when they're strong, don't play the game without them for 10 minutes. if enemy bot can't play 2v2, stay bot, shit on them, take tower and *then* go top or mid with your adc together and snowball the game.

if you're a support player and you're unsure how well this video holds up as you climb ranks; he mentions a variety of things that many supports don't do up until masters even, or at the very least mid diamond. and these are all very simple, super straightforward things that you can implement into your gameplay immediately. please do this, profit off of how terrible other support players are at the game and help your laner keep his sanity. when I play on an emerald acc for warmup and my supports take ward lasthits I'm like HOW do you not know how this works at this rank yet?! happens every game, too. every single one. same thing with plates which is even more common and way worse than taking wards for no reason.

In my opinion, the main reason support players get a lot of shit is because they don't understand anything that warrents them playing in the rank they're at. The don't understand minion gold, jungle timers, wave management at all. It's not an individual support player thing but a general standard of players thing. Everyone says adc's are shit but as soon as they deal the same damage as an aatrox, people have say they're op. Well yeah, they generally carry harder later in the game. The problem is that just because they don't have to last hit they aren't forced to think about the wavestate even though they're half of the early pushing power. It's basic stuff for any top, mid and bot player. jungle doesn't care about lanes because they don't get ruined when they leave a poor lanestate. Thus both roles are a little inflated, because everyone still cares about red buff, blue buff, baron, drake, grubs and all the other game knowledge such as ward placements. But support fundamentally never have to learn because if they're losing because of themselves, they just leave to support mid lane and call their adc shit for dying when they're not doing their job of getting them through the early lane. So I'm actually glad you're making this guide and hopefully it'll raise the skills of supports and reward better support players with a higher rank.

The fact that this guide even exists is crazy, imagine if the top laner started crying because you didn't tank tower shots for him and didn't let him destroy the ward and they "need gold", literally everyone in the game would laugh at him. Great guide man, the only thing I disagree with is the support being less valuable than the ADC, the support basically dictates what happens in the bot lane so I would never kill myself to save a guy that can destroy the advantage because he needs farm. The problem with SoloQ bot is that you are relying on pure luck to be able to win the lane

I make my adc happy by muting him so i cant see him bitch and whine about things i cant control. I also never try to let him take the last hit because he is absolutely guaranteed to cancel the last auto. Hope this helps

i agree with the things you say and i do practice them a lot but in my games 1-adc starts to cry if i leave him in lane for 2 seconds and will choose to die under enemy tower 2-adc will pretend to leash then go lane solo on first 2 minions resulting in no level 2 for me 3-adc refusing to hit the ward even when i ping him assist on it 4-when i get samira adc they ping go in and then die instantly XD 5-adc refusing to recall ever 6-adc is always autofill against on roll 7-planned tower dive gets me killed while the adc and even jungler last second run away from the dive I know supports can be troll too. sometimes though you know by the body language of a player if hes worth supporting or not. good video though its always cool to see another player with the same mentality as me even if we destined to die for the idiots that play a pew pew champion. i wouldnt play any other way

As a post ranked ADC Main. You've got some really good points. I'm just past my seething, raging, baby era of maining ADC. I'm more on the Naval Warfare doctrine, and mindset. I am the Capital Ship, so Aircraft Carrier, Battleship, or Battlecruiser, and the Support is my Escort. We are a battlegroup, and we both rely heavily on each other. It doesn't really matter who gets the gold, from wards, plating, or kills, just make sure we survive, and they "sink", and life is good. Usually, in Naval Warfare, the Capital is the heavy fire, the threat, but it's the Destroyers and Light Cruisers escorting them that do the heavy-lift, to make sure the most destructive, but also most expensive and cumbersome part of the engagement stays afloat. Remember the story of the Bismarck? The legend says that it was sunk, because the British Swordfishes flew low enough, that the Bismarck couldn't shoot low enough. While this is partially wrong, it does tell us one fact: If only there were some small, manuverable ships around, to protect the mighty Bismarck, it may have had a better chance. So remember, that, while a Destroyer can't level an island like you can, you can't level an Island, if you don't let your Destroyer keep you safe, and zone out the battlefield for you.

As a main neeko sup i am glad to say that i do most of the things said here. Exept tanking the tower.... my ullt is a bit slow and they always strike just before...

As a rule of thumb I always let my ADC take the first tower plate by themselves. Most of them have enough damage to do that when we get a chance. After this point taking plates together is more safe and mutually beneficial, unless we're destroying the lane and I as a support suddenly have better things to do like helping my jungler.

I play full AP Sona because its fun. Dont really play for rank, so since I am already trolling I dont think this video is for me. But those are some nice tips, good video!
