In order to reel in more foreign investors, the National government should impose sanctions on those local government unit officials who are corrupt and the very reason why local and foreign investors are backing out because of their corrupt practices. These LGU officials should be hacked down and be taken out of the equation so we can start to see a real economic growth.
We pray for these economic manager’s good health, wisdom and guidance so they can continue to work for the government and the Philippines will be more progressive for all Filipinos to enjoy. We should set aside politics, election is done. The losers should accept defeat.

Tama nga sila lagi hinahanap yung immediate result and short term solution e pangsamantala lang yung ang gusto nila makuha sa Davos yung mga pang long term solutions meaning hindi sya immediate result but may long term effect sa economy. Dapat ganito yung mga mindset natin "looking forward always sa long term solution not in immediate solutions" kaya tayo hindi umaasenso dahil baliktad tayo mag-isip.
Ang pagmamadali at isang panandalian lamang so to cut it short. Tama ka po and those gentlemen kaya kayong media play a big role alalahanin din ninyo na may mga anak kayo and other relatives na mangangailangan ng trabaho if you can help promote our country then our young people can benefits from your good share of publicity.

wise in their own eyes these local economic managers are. learn from your contmeporaries in vietnam. they encourage foreign investors by scrapping all taxes on petrol to reduce the cost of production, etc. what you did is increase tax on petrol to P10 per liter tapos madadgdagan pa ng 12% sa sales tax. this is but one of the myriad of factors that drives away investors to places like vietnam, malaysia, thailand, india, etc, bypassing the philippines. our best school is number 75 in standing in asia; by correlation, so is our administrators and economst.
Public utilities must be own by the government to lessen the high cost of living.

When bbm travels to promote the economy he gets pledges to invest which oftentimes are not accomplished…then when bbm comes back from those travels he tells that his trip was successful when no investment has been started or placed…
Business pledges take time because there are still processes and procedures to be had which will require thorough scrutiny/review among all parties involved (i.e. govt/business companies in the private sector/foreign/investors) before implementation begins, because big scale deals such as these are aimed for long-term gains that are worth billions of dollars. The time it will take for all investments to be realized does not happen overnight, but it will happen. Just because the general public/Filipinos do not have inside-access to the behind-the-scene movements, but are only seeing/hearing bits of news that media share, does not mean the overseas trips of the President and his govt officials have been making are unsuccessful. Good things take time, but I am pleased to see the government actively taking important steps toward creating a better, brighter Philippines for the purpose of giving Filipinos the quality pf life we all have been hoping for in this lifetime and in generations to come.

True and government needs to pay attention that while we have this advantage true reforms like in human rights, police reforms, ease of business, power supply, lower lgu taxes, infrastructure developments, food basket stable plus others must improve a lot where the public can judge as good, recently there was a cebu incident which could destroy all efforts done by bbm, 😢. Our mining is a treasure but has to develop into products that can help in labor, provide work to Filipinos more than just exporting them. Make mining like oil such as nickel with high value, good exchange of products that we need to advance an industry. Good to hear our economic representatives talk about plans and achievements made.
