Really liked this result! Looks sophisticated and arty. Well done! For brush strokes, use a misting bottle (not spray - your paint will run) to lightly mist the brush & paint as you go. It will thin the paint slightly & give you more even coverage with fewer brush strokes. Lightly sand between coats too (220+ grit) Matt or satin top coat helps to hide flaws too!
wow...for a first timer, this is amazing! Love the end result, with the PVC rounds, they really add a unique and interesting touch (you were correct in the type of knobs you chose too). Hope to see more of your stuff using that creative streak of yours!
Very creative!!! I hit the subscribe button at the first curse word!!! I knew straight away I was going love your sense of humor. Regarding brush strokes …use a synthetic brush, light coats, and depending on what type of paint your using add some floetrol to the paint (it eliminates brush strokes) or use a water mister bottle for water based paint.
Love the end result for sure....maybe you should not say bad words haha .. not that it bothers me...but I have heard TH-cam will get mad ....and I Would love to see more of your videos for sure🤣👍
@@Valentine_Baker I'm totally cool with your words haha ..i am a furniture artist too ..and I got some good inspiration from your design but also giggled at seeing you work harder and fighting with the furniture...You're awesome 😊👍
@@debraneria4242 Haha, I'm glad that you enjoyed it, and even more that you took some inspiration from it! I'll keep fighting with my furniture for a while ;)
Normally I do that, but for the reason that the next layer of paint will attach better to the one beneath. Thank you for the tip! I will keep this in mind for the next time :)
Shannon at Black Sheep House paints with a brush & then takes a dry roller to smooth out the paint -- no brush strokes or pebbled surface. Watch her videos, she can teach you a lot. Also, Modern Makeovers -- he's a young guy like you.
Rough start, but imagination and hard work always creates a pleasing outcome. Love the white bamboo on the black background. Great job Valentine!
It all goes well in the end. Thank you for your kind words Pam!
Nice job. Creative.

Hahaha, thank you so much Jeanne! I'm using a turpentine based paint/stain. Never heard of floetrol, will look it up!
I just spat my tea out laughing after the swearing in a foreign language, which was universally recognisable! Subscribed 😂

Looks great. Love the bamboo. I think it would look awesome if the body was left bare wood
Thanks man! But still keeping the drawers black you mean? I also think that it would've looked nice that way
What an interesting piece of artwork. Great job.
Thank you Rhonda!
That looks fabulous! My suggestion would be have a look at some other furniture flippers channels.
Thank you Julie! I've watched my fair share of furniture flipping videos haha, from many different channels as well
Great! Amazing vid

@@Valentine_Baker awesome...Glad to Know I'm Not the Only one gluten for punishment 🤣🤣🤣
I like how there's birds in the background at that 'most satisfying part' 😂
Hahaha. You can hear the birds in almost every outside shot!🐦
Awesome design!!👌🏻
Thanks Em!
Try sanding in between each paint coat for a smoother finish. It will also eliminates brush strokes.

Thanks a lot Debi!
Nice video! Very informative
Thanks dude🤘🏼
Very creative finish. What type of paint did you use on this piece?
Thank you! I used a white and then black stain from a brand called Osmo. Good stuff!
Cool!!!!
Thanks Djam!
