At 7:00ish you introduce intrude/extrude tool. I get it, but I can only ever get it to work in 1 direction. In your example, I can only extend to 1/2 the block. Is there an additional setting to get it to work both faces (forward and backward)?

what is the hotkey for hidden geometry? im using sketchup 8 before and its hotkey is letter K... i've switched to sketchup 2016 and the hotkey K isn't working..
Not sure where I should be asking this question, but I have am stumped! I've tried to solve this problem for several hours. I have imported an image into my presentation...a picture of a curtain. I am in the pipe and drape business and would like to use this program to display pipe and drape designs. So I've imported a curtain and made several copies of the curtain for my design. I am trying to add color to one of the curtain panels and having difficulty. When I triple click on one of the curtains, it selects all the curtains. How do I only select one of the panels at a time? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

when I open it there is no "template" tab ... would it be the same if I just write in the length bar the number I want then the unite ?? .. ex : 6 m or 6 cm
When it comes to players, I highly suggest Blender just because it's easier to do so. When it comes to stairs you want to make a giant square (roughly as tall and long you want your square), then use the push/pull tool along the red or green axis (to make the width of the stairs) then use the line tool on either side of the width of the cube, to divide the amount of stairs you want. Then use the push/pull tool to push inward on the different divided sections of the width of the cube. Does that help or would you suggest I make a video?

Make sure you stick to a script. The audio sounds good, the visuals look good. The information and examples are fantastic. But it's also a lot of rambling. :P

yes you can when you start sketchup avoid clicking "start using Sketchup" and click on the "template" tab, then select the measurements you want
