Avi blew the speakers with his low note! And Mitch - little angelic alien incredible! They were jetlagged and Mitch had had several red bulls before he went on stage and the effect kicked in just before they sang this song. This is the ultimate 'Mitch slap'.
Kevin enters the stage while Avi does his low note, you can just see Mitch move across to allow Kevin to come in beside Scott, apparently the previous song Kevin was playing the Cello so he was putting her (Beyonce) away, so the beginning was to allow time for Kevin to do that.
Oh no! Mitch is not underrated, us fans adore him and understand how talented he is. He absolutely amazing! ❤ Thanks for reaching to the Singapore version
O.K. guys, check out the video Pentatonix Popspring 2016. It's about twenty minutes long and contains three of their originals and the Michael Jackson medley. Live with professional sound and cameras.
For another live one, check out Pop Spring 2016... 3 originals and the evolution of MJ... great sound quality. You might also try Standing By @ th-cam.com/video/GyARVE4ijrk/w-d-xo.html
As good as they are in studio, they are often the best on stage. Most (all?) of them come alive with proper audience interaction. They really feed off the audience.
This is what happens when you give Mitch Red Bull before a performance. You're still getting Avi and Kevin backwards. Avi is the bass with the really low notes Kevin is the beatboxer
This was Mitch with jet lag and a few Red Bulls. Probably never happen again so enjoy Give a listen to Mitch doing a cover of Billie Eillish's Your Power. It's mind blowing for sure!
You would really enjoy their professionally produced live concert - POPSPRING 2016.. (the sound is impeccable since the sound is from MTV) It's only under 15 minutes long and WELL worth it!!
Popspring performance 2016 live you get 3 originals and Evolution of Michael Jackson. Mitch Grassi covers "Your Power' by Billie Elish Scott Hoying and Shoshana Bean singing "All to Me" so good.
Thanks guys. This is amazing performance and your reaction was spot on. Mitch was born with a gift. His voice is beyond. I think PTX showcases it perfectly. But his solo work is great too. He is the ultimate professional too. It is known that he has anxiety when performing. A lot of super gifted artists do. But he really believes in what he does and lives "The Show Must Go On" motto. Hope to see more videos from you guys. They are always enjoyable.
Scott and Kirstin doing all the syncopated background parts is hard to do in a studio environment where you can do it over and adjust things electronically in mixing. The difficulty of doing this live is about a 20 on a scale of 1 to 10. Crowd noise, sound delays (just a fact with sound traveling through cords and wi-fi) the adrenaline of being in front of a crowd, and anything else that can happen live, this is a whole other level talent and discipline. If any of them get off track or off beat doing this song it could turn into a train wreck in a hurry. I don't think there are too many people, outside of these special five, that could do this and do it that well.
It's always a joy watching people reacting to this gem.. and you weren't an exception! There's no preparation for this.. I second the recommendations for Mitch's solo work under the name of Messer, very different (you won't even recognize him) but great, plus his version of "Power" by Billie Eilish, it's hauntingly beautiful.
The story is that they'd just flown in and were scheduled for an immediate concert. So they were all jet lagged and concerned about putting on a quality performance, and Mitch compensated with two Red Bulls. That *may* have been one Red Bull too many....
Love your reactions. You need to do more live. I recommend Hallelujah from the Christmas special, Joyful, Joyful from the Evergreen Experience and Queens Somebody to Love.
There is actually of video of this performance that has better sound and actually shows Kevin on the stage, but I've only seen seen one reactor use it and don't remember who it was.
I've seen that video, once, it completely missed Mitch going off and the Avi note. Totally not worth it. The sound quality on this isn't great, but the performance makes it.
I highly recommend "Gold" by PTX. It's not live in concert, but the video is filmed live and is amazing. Especially if you've listened to the original. Mitch's part is extremely difficult vocally. So difficult the original artist, Kiiara, had to have her song edited and pitch changes spliced together. (The original is awesome too. Don't want to take away from it) But Mitch is on another level! th-cam.com/video/mW0T0F7VquA/w-d-xo.html

Popspring 2016, a 4 song set professionally filmed.

The ultimate Mitch-slap! No matter how well prepared or warned you are…..your facial expressions say it all! Thanks guys!
I recommend PopSpring 2016. I love the shock this video induces. Lol

The video that proves Mitch is real!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️. And PTX can do what they do live. May want to look at Messer.

I can never resist seeing peoples react to this
And THIS is why PTX is the best.
Yes Messer- Angels Pray or Machine!!! and POPSPRING 2016 IS MANDATORY 😁

There's a great live of Joyful Joyful from their 2021 Evergreen tour. It's really fun!
Absolutely love that performance and watch it all the time!!
oh yes please do this one !!!!!!!!!!
Check out them doing Telephone live at the Star Vista. Mitch will get you again
Mitch does have solo music. He goes by Messer. It’s a totally different vibe from Ptx but amazing. Expect nothing but perfection from Mitch.
He does a great cover of Billie Eilish's "Power" too!
Everything Mitch does is great!
You would really enjoy their professionally produced live concert - POPSPRING 2016.. (the sound is impeccable since the sound is from MTV) It's only under 15 minutes long and WELL worth it!!
Mitch does some solo work under the name of Messer. Good stuff! And, of course, he and Scott perform as Superfruit.
And Mitch’s solo cover of Your Power!!! (recorded on his roof during lockdown)
Popspring performance 2016 live you get 3 originals and Evolution of Michael Jackson.
Mitch Grassi covers "Your Power' by Billie Elish
Scott Hoying and Shoshana Bean singing "All to Me" so good.

Really enjoyed this. Thank you for the reaction guys!

The Pop Spring concert is one of their best live performances. Almost all originals. Definitely worth checking out!
I recommend watching their live performance of “Joyful Joyful” from their recent Evergreen concert!!
Recommend their original, Midnight In Tokyo featuring Little Glee Monster.
Their live four song Popspring 2016 performance is a must.
If you want to do a great live performance from their tour last year (Evergreen Christmas tour), check out "Joyful, Joyful". Mitch is amazing in it!
YES!! LOVE THIS ONE!!!
Oh wow first live this is going in the deep end 😂😂
Thank you for sharing your time with us. ☮️
For live check out the popspring concert.
Apparently the sound is distorted because Avi blew the speakers.

This is one of my PTX favorites! Thanks ~~ To hear an amazing Mitch solo please check out his stunning cover of Billie Eilish's " Your Power" !!!
You should check out their official video of this..it's a jewel in itself!!
You weren't listening. They were talking about the official video. They had already reacted to it.
The story is that they'd just flown in and were scheduled for an immediate concert. So they were all jet lagged and concerned about putting on a quality performance, and Mitch compensated with two Red Bulls. That *may* have been one Red Bull too many....

Kevin had left the stage to remove cello from previous number
It gets better...
Your reaction was good Mitch was amazing but I found it strange you never said anything about Avi blowing the speakers.
listen to "your Power" sung by Mitch .
Kevin wasn’t in this performance because he was putting his cello away. Kevin is a tenor, not a bass.
Accents too thick. Sorry don't know what you're saying. 😮
