I’ll be doing this to my Yamaha 115 this weekend. Runs fine, just really hard to start and dies at slow idol. I want to head into summer with a clean slate.
Yeah it has, found another video to see how you actually take the carbs off. If you get a chance, you should do a video for that as well and make that part 1/4.
These look just like the carbs from my 1994 Yamaha 150. It recently started bogging down at high RPM. Since I don’t know if this has ever been done, I’ll give it a go.
I don’t think that is the best way to pull down a carbie …..!!! Thanks for your professional video
Thanks alot for this video I've got the 130 and it's hard to find vids

Thanks for the input. I will take it into consideration.
Just watched this now...years later, still helping people. Plan to do this myself. Should still work for my Yamaha 115HP 2 stroke, correct?
Yea
hello its a good and important to know how to clear carb, but this carb for which model is it old card ?
Some verbal narration would really improve your video’s ability to help people.
Thank you for posting the visual demonstration.
whats the part called from 2:04-2:15 that you take out?
And hear I thought silent movies were a thing of the past.
Can you help me with the float height on the carbs
Hey Jonathan, I set the floats slightly proud of level at resting position. Meaning slightly higher. Hope this helps.
@@kzaz02 resting position being the carb upside down with the float needle contacting the float seat?
Same process for 98 model 115?
Yes. Believe so
