And who would buy so many of the same character just to collect all colors? It's all so lazy it becomes suspicious. This looks like some sort of money laundry scheme on the part of the company who did it. Just like those abstract art paintings billionares pay a fortune on. Buying a lot of them is "justified" because they come randomly in the boxes and you allegedly wanted to collect them all, but in fact it's just a way to transfer money to an intermediary that will deposit the money in a different account that isn't in your name, as to avoid income taxation.

I met Ron English in Shanghai about three years ago. I saw some of his iconic pieces just by chance while I was walking around. They were huge figures standing about 20 foot tall outside a mall. Ronald was there and the Statue of Liberty too. Mr. English said he was waiting for the police to come and take them away. I hope I get to meet Max one day.
i think these are awesome, idk why everyone hates them. they are definitely not too creative as they just reuse concepts from eachother, but the base design of the character looks cool enough and is high quality enough to stay interested in my opinion
