Hi, love the video & have got my desert x, waiting for parts at mo. Can you put up a video when you have the top box sorted as I’ll want put one on. Thanks 👍
Will do so👍🏻
awe... alquilaba la desert x y una africa para comparar
Sii que wai!
I installed the crash bars. I just received the water pump protector. For the screw from the water pump into the crash bars and the screw from the water pump protector into the engine, did you apply any loctite? And what torque did you use? I cannot find instructions or that info online. I can make some guesses. But I'd prefer to torque to spec.
Yeah we usually use loctice everywhere cause I don't think there is some negativite in to that. We asked mecanic in the local dealership to help us with torque list.
I think it would have been more pleasing to the eye to use white hard plastic wind shields on the handle bars instead of the clear.
Hi, where did you buy your parts from? Did you buy them from Ducati directly? I am in Mallorca, waiting for my bike to arrive. Thanks
We ordered directly from dealership. I guess in Canarias they deal directly with Factory
Nice video! Where did you find the manual to install the crash bar? I cannot find it :( Thanks!
We asked guy in official service and he gave it to us.
@@CanaryRide that also includes the required torque values i guess? how is it possible for non ducati dealer person to get the manual
PDF instructions for the crash bars are available here until the "Assembly Instructions" link. They are NOT available for the water pump guard unfortunately though.

@@avigilavigil great many thanks
Manual? You don't need no stinking manual.😆
You say the seat lowers the ride height by 1 cm: are you sure about that, I heard it was 10 cm.
Yes it is just one cm 🥲
Aku cenu mas na tyzden za desert x?
Cena 7+ dni je 125€/den canaryride.com/motorcycles/
Vdaka za info.man na kanaroch priatelov tak ak a ukazem urcite budem kontaktovat.pekny den
10 cm seat difference
No it is 1cm
It is funny that you buy this expensive bike, but it does not include the proper protection to degrade its beauty. =D
To be fair, that’s no different from most other manufacturers. They all do the same thing by having genuine accessories for things like crash protection, through to branded or specific luggage systems.
how tall are you ?
I am 195cm
@@CanaryRide do you think a 180cm rider would be ok ?
Imho the bar end protectors look substandard... if that bike weighs over 200 kg then don't expect your levers to survive if you drop it. Why didn't you fit generic ones? Bet Ducati charged you through the nose for them. Also, the lower seat height is a joke. And you bought two..?
Which generic ones? There was nothing on the market when we got the bike. Yes we bought two, we have two bikes in fleet for rental and at least something for clients who are not that tall
