I can't tell you about the bass amp. But the katana for guitar is indestructible. A friend of mine has one and he is ruthless with it. Hangs outside (in the shade) for an entire summer in the desert. Dust everywhere, 120 degrees. Yeah its fine. He accidentally punched a huge hole in the cone. It did almost nothing to the quality of sound! As far as we can tell it just made the brown sound more usable?? Like wtf is this magic? He took it to a paying gig and the other guitar player used it and never noticed there was giant hole in the cone. Not like it was a sonics cover band or a metal band. We played a lot of funk and disco that night. Because of this I am looking into buying the bass katana. If it's half as indestructible as the guitar cab I'll be happy.
Initial review was a 5 string, why not continue with 5 string,? Show it some 30hz hate, see if it lives!!! Don't get me wrong, sounds good with the 4 string, just should give it the real hate if your gonna try to blow it up... 30hz hate!!!!
