Wow, this is exactly what I was looking for. Just a very basic example and explanation of what you are doing when you're doing it.
This is the first Hueforge tutorial that didn't leave me utterly confused, and now I feel pretty confident buying the application.
Thanks for the insanely helpful tutorial!
this was enough to get me started and see the potential of the application. thank you. you have one of the best new 3d printing channels there are, I can think of 1 other. You both will catch on and find your audiences before you know it.
This tutorial was EXACTLY what I needed. Thank You!
Most excellent thank you! Gave me the basics of quickly utilizing the software and not going into too much depth to bore me!
Great tutorial - thanks for putting that together!!
very informative, thanks this is all the information I needed.
Great Video!
Nice tutorial by the way
You can print with many colors even on a AMS lite. As it's printing you can change the filament from the color that is finished. So you have to go 1-2-3-4 / 1-2-3-4,..... in the slicer. And then when printing as the colors 1, 2 and 3 are done and the printer starts on filament 4 you can swap the filaments 1,2 and 3 for new colors.
Great tips thank you
Love it! Is there a way to cut the files so you can make one large photo and put together?
Yes to the transmission distance video. I use a bunch of random filaments and my results are always a mixed bag.
Nice!
Thank u for this.. can u actually use transparent PLA can u use PLA that u currently own or do have to use specific filament?
you the real mvp
The lithophane maker could generate the image exact the same color as the image I put in. But I don't know how to do this in the HueForge. It seems I can only manually adjust the color.
Hi, how do you deal with the stringing's? is it just my filament have allot of moisture on it?. I'm running it on my P1S, with the doors open at 200C using Esun PLA+ filaments
What did you do to change the base color?
Are you using the textured plate or cool plate? Thanks
You don't have to re-slice every time you add a filament change. Also if you use OrcaSlicer it will even keep the sliced lines visible.
Can i use tis also with a palette 2s 🤔
can you increase the thickness beneath?
My top layer is white PLA like the other 3 layers but HF seems to think it is PETG and whatever I do it retains this filament type. Anyone know how I can correct this?
how come yours doesnt appear to have a purge tower? mine added it and its getting in the way
How long did this print take ?
Man this is cool cant wait to test it what was the print time?
The print time for this one was under 3 hours. The print time tends to jump pretty high when you make the detail size too small or if you don’t remove the background, so I would say start out small!
I keep getting the “serious warning conflicts of code paths have been found at layer 1” I followed what you did. Why the issue ?
its a shame it cannot just produce a file that is more compatible with Bambu Studios so you didn't have to change the settings in Bambu itself. Isn't that what the .3mf file extension is for
I was wondering this too
I followed your video - But on my 1st filament change, after slicing, I am getting an error message from Bambu saying: Serious warning-Conflicts of gcode paths have been found at later 1. Please separate the conflicted objects father (Wipe Towerand then my file name - any ideas? Anyone?
Under global settings in the "other" tab, there is a checkbox to enable the Prime Tower. Turn this off, and the error should go away. If you want to keep the prime tower (like if the colors are bleeding) then you can keep it enabled and just find it on the build plate and drag it out of the way. I hope this helps!
Edit: I just realized I never changed my layer height appropriately in Bambulab to match what's in HueForge. I didn't want to delete my comment in case anyone ever stumbled upon this and did what I did and not pay attention to the video step by step.....so yes, I'm an idiot ..what's your point? 😂
Ok can someone explain to me how we're getting the arbitrary mm in the slider that matches with the ones from hue forge.
My mm slider only goes by increments of 20
I cant find the describe button any ideas? I tried moving the slider and nothing is there
Definitely try updating HueForge. You should’ve gotten an email today about a new update being available. Since you already have it installed you just need the hotfix and the menu should go back to normal. I hope this helps, and happy printing!
@@Markury they moved it up above! Thanks!
