when pressing the custom buttons, home assistant says "Action pyscript.avico_command not found." not sure how to fix this any ideas would be helpful! thanks in advance
I got this too, my guess is he forgot to include the steps on how to start the service. Just copying the files to the HA via Samba isn't the whole story. First, I found you needed to install HACS, then pyscript, then configure it for auto-detecting scripts dropped into that folder he references. After all that, and some rebooting, it no longer errors. This doesn't seem to work out of the box on the 48gbps 4x4 matrix, for those who are considering that. Edit: It looks like Avico changed the RS-232 commands from other brands (such as OREI). If you change the action commands to ones supported in the manual, they work with other brands / models.
Hey, we've gotten a few messages of similar issues. Open the py script and make a small change to the scripts "TCP_IP ='usesr HA ip address' " Let me know if that helps. @service ... def avico_command(action=None, ip=None): import socket TCP_IP = 'usesr HA ip address'
@@ccallaghan84 didnt see this message previous to avicotechs, I have hacs already and have just downloaded the pyscript addon to it, what do I need to configure within that for it to auto detect please? Thanks in advance!
