Hey, not sure how you connect the iPad to the Lenovo for video conferencing but it should work fine if you introduce the KVM to the setup. If you use the iPad as one of the inputs in the KVM it should work perfectly fine. The KVM just routes the video and USB signals from the computers/iPad to send to the monitor and peripherals.

I'm guessing the capture card would be connected as the output, I think it should work fine.

Let me know what consoles and displays (LG Model) you're using. We check the manuals and make sure everything runs at the optimal resolutions. Sounds like you may be able to use an HDMI Matrix also, you can connect all the inputs (consoles) and distribute the video to multiple output displays, one can be the Capture card. Looks like the LG C2 is 4k@120hz so it should be using HDMI 2.1 protocol. Our options are all HDMI 2.0 (4K@60hz). You may want something with HDMI 2.1 to get the full 120hz experience. But an HDMI 2.0 KVM or Matrix will work to send the input sources to the output. Adding the capture card to the KVM may be more complicated since the capture card may not accept the full resolution so using a matrix is actually pretty easy since you can control the resolution that gets sent to the capture card. I didn't understand anything lol... If you already have a docking station then you can use it with a KVM to connect the monitors and peripherals. The second computer can connect directly to the KVM. With this setup the computer connected to the dock will have a simple usually thunderbolt connection to connect to the setup. If you want your dock to be shared between two computers you would have to physically move the cable connection between the computers (KVMs eliminate the need for this) or find some type of device that supports the ability to carry video, data, and power over a single cable and switch between the two computers to connect to the dock. If this is even possible it still wouldn't be as efficient as a KVM setup because the computers would disconnect from the monitors and peripherals every time the computer is switched. Our KVM options have a "keep alive" feature so the computer thinks they're always connected to the monitors and peripherals so no windows close or rearrange while switching between computers.

@@avicotech-us thanks. I have a dell laptop connected to a dell docking station by a single usb cable so I assumed I could connect my pc the same way but maybe that isn’t the case. But I appreciate that even if that’s possible it might not behave the way we want it when I switch because of the issue you raised.

Good question. When in the "split view mode" both computers are viewable on each monitor but only one computer is selected as the active computer. The selected computer has access to the keyboard/mouse, camera, headsets, all the peripherals connected to the KVM. Yes, that's a common configuration. The connections will go from the dock to the KVM and the dock will be connected to the laptop with the normal Type C connection, this makes a super easy and clean setup for the laptop.

@@avicotech-us It is an HP Laptop 15-da0xxx model, with date of release around 2018. It supports 3 usb 3.0 ports, 1 hdmi port and an HP charging port (not usb-c)
