He was everything you would expect. So nice, so amazing. I’ve seen him give a huge line, every single person in that line got so much love from him. I just met him 4 months ago after waiting a lifetime
There was an event he was gonna be at a few years back that was like an hour away from me but unfortunately I didn't have a way to get there I'll be forever upset that I missed that chance
When I first watched the Batman animation, I was accustomed to Michael Keaton's performance, so it was jarring at first to hear Kevin bring his voice down at least a full octave; Keaton had only brought his voice down a couple of notches.
Batman the animated series redefined a super hero to a legend. Thank you kevin conroy for voicing my generation version of one of my favorite heroes...
His death continues to be a tough one on all of us. Some celebrities die older, some have long public battles with a disease, some we simply didn't feel as close to, et cetera. But Kevin nestled into our hearts with his performance behind the mic and the way he showed up in public. You cannot fake integrity in a decades-long career. You cannot fake this enthusiasm and appreciation. His love of the work, the character, his costars, and the fan base were indomitable. So, I watch a video like this and think, "How can he be gone?" He never painted a perfect picture. Instead he taught how to love despite pain or disappointments. May we all be so in love with life in such an honest way.
"Ah the Batmobile, yes it's the car to err.. strike terror in the hearts of the criminals in Gotham. With the proper gadgetry and costume err.. I become vengeance, the night and I err.. am Batman."
I almost had a chance to meet him and have him sign my copy of Arkham City years ago. Wish I had. Not a lot of voice actors that I can say I follow or am upset by their passing but he is definitely one of them. He will be missed
If I could ask Kevin one question about his dynamic with Mark it would be if he sees him as more of a friend or coworker. Given the number of years they've worked together.
Back in April, a Comic-Con was hosted about a half-hour's drive from where I live. I went there to meet Kevin and only to meet Kevin. I asked him a similar question and he told me he views Mark as a good friend of his.
RIP Kevin, it was a Joy and honor to see you at the Miami Supercon a few years ago. You voiced Batman for 30 years, so you'll always be my favorite Batman.
Kevin saying nice things about other people... I feel like I've been watching him be awesome like this for days now. Apperently he was just that type of guy. Love you Kevin, you'll always be my batman.
Your wish has been granted. Conroy will appear live-action as an older Bruce Wayne in the December crossover of the CW superhero shows. I hope the script does well by him.
Watch The Killing Joke and come back to this discussion. Watch The Return of the Joker and come back to this discussion. Yeah, Ledger played unhinged very well, and cinematically he hasn't been touched, but Mark Hamill has gone darker. You've also gotta keep in mind, for 20+ years, he's been doing it on a Saturday Morning cartoon block with some regulations as to what can be shown for children. I'm surprised the Animated Series got away with as much as it did. Mask of Phantasm had a lot of moments that you knew people died, even though you didn't actually see them die. It's not just nostalgia that is fueling so many people's love for Hamill's work. Both he, and Kevin Conroy do service to the characters they portray. The Animated Series should be required viewing for all adaptations of Batman. It did as much for the character as The Dark Knight Returns by Miller. Even though Burton's films seem a bit weak in comparison to what we see now, his work was what helped bring Batman back to the forefront. Without Burton, I doubt the Animated Series would've even existed. I'd even say that Nolan probably wouldn't have ended up making his Batman films. Would he have seen the potential darkness without the 80s change in Batman's character?
I loved their dynamic. There was like another interview clip or something I had seen, I think before Arkham Knight came out, around the time Mark was considering retiring from The Joker. He basically said nowadays he'll read scripts before taking roles, unless Kevin had already signed on, then he'll take it without reading.
One thing I would’ve loved to see is Kevin and Mark trying to do each others voices. Like Kevin does the Joker voice and Mark does the Batman voice. It would’ve been so cool and funny to see
i thought kevin was gonna do a joker impression. That would be funny but I don't think he'd ever have done hamill dirty like that, it's a business at the end of the day 0:32 lmao he did do it kinda
I would’ve given anything to meet this man. RIP Kevin, thank you for everything.
He was everything you would expect. So nice, so amazing. I’ve seen him give a huge line, every single person in that line got so much love from him. I just met him 4 months ago after waiting a lifetime
He was easily the kindest, sweetest celebrity I’ve ever met.
You had your chance.
I know that feeling
There was an event he was gonna be at a few years back that was like an hour away from me but unfortunately I didn't have a way to get there
I'll be forever upset that I missed that chance
Conroy and hamill best batman and joker
A friend of mine has actually shown my voice impressions of the Joker to Kevin Conroy!!😀😁😁
#NoArgumentHere

Voices.
We'll miss him. Conroy will forever be Batman.
The guy's 60 but looks 40...he truly is Batman.

Mudkip971 damm 60?! Got to meet him soon

Funny how when Kevin talks in his normal voice, he sounds like Bruce Wayne, but when he turns on his Batman voice, things get dark very fast.
When I first watched the Batman animation, I was accustomed to Michael Keaton's performance, so it was jarring at first to hear Kevin bring his voice down at least a full octave; Keaton had only brought his voice down a couple of notches.
I really, really want to see them try to play each other's roles in a scene.
(Mark Hamill as Batman and Kevin Conroy as Joker)
Then we would get the Batman Who Laughs
Hamill I could see voicing Batman. Conroy as Joker? Not so much.
Rest in Peace Kevin Conroy.
Yeah... about that...
Guess it's to late now
Batman the animated series redefined a super hero to a legend. Thank you kevin conroy for voicing my generation version of one of my favorite heroes...

That "AHHH" still cracks me up. Rest in peace.
That batbicep!!!!
I hadnt even noticed. Geez!
Batcep
Kevin couldve easily played a live action batman if he wanted to
I never noticed before but A. he looks like Willem Defoe, and B. he sounds like he could do a killer Jeff Goldblum impersonation.
"Ah the Batmobile, yes it's the car to err.. strike terror in the hearts of the criminals in Gotham. With the proper gadgetry and costume err.. I become vengeance, the night and I err.. am Batman."
His normal voice even sounds like Jeff Goldblum's. I don't know if it's either amazing or otherwise...
It's hard to do Goldbblum cause Jeff is just so weird xD
Listening to Kevin feels like I'm listening to Batman being nice and telling funny stories
RIP Legend

hope Hamill doesn't die 🙏
We all have to go some day 😢, let’s be grateful that he’s still here and cherish these moments while he’s still alive.
someone please cast this man as oldman bataman in a live action movie.
Your wish has been granted. Conroy will appear live-action as an older Bruce Wayne in the December crossover of the CW superhero shows. I hope the script does well by him.
@@howardbeatman2820 ...and it was wank
Mark Hamill is the best Joker. Sorry Ledger fans, it's true.
irllcd13 I like ledger but he's more of a fan fiction of the joker
irllcd13 best voice actor definitely. I'd like to see mark play joker in an actual movie though
irllcd13 ehhhhhnooo
irllcd13 ledger does a better crazy as far as how the violence goes but Hamill has that voice

Damn Kevin's got some serious forearms! Because he's "Batman"!
I want to see him as the live action Grey Ghost
it would a circle
Michael Aguilar-Bauta no Batman beyond Bruce Wayne
Today is a great day. It was absolutely insane seeing him as the live action Bruce Wayne in Crisis on Infinite Earths
That would be cool....it would make everybody go, “but you’re supposed to be Batman....!”😁
His normal voice is normal voiced Bruce from the early seasons.
0:37 Someone needs to mod that "whoaaa" as one of Batman's death sounds in the Arkham games lol
That's how you can enter onto the character. You must feel you look like and you are that character.
I loved their dynamic. There was like another interview clip or something I had seen, I think before Arkham Knight came out, around the time Mark was considering retiring from The Joker. He basically said nowadays he'll read scripts before taking roles, unless Kevin had already signed on, then he'll take it without reading.
Its odd hearing him not do the batman voice
See, the ones who act in the recording studio by the facial expressions n such, means they got a good grip of the character.
Hearing Batman doing that high pitched “Uuuahhh!” thing is honestly...i-it’s giving me the chills. But I love it :)
He did some similar sounds at points in TAS when pretending to be clumsy as Bruce Wayne.
conroy's the man!
My late uncle was one of Mark Hamill's biggest fans.
Jesus christ, he's shredded
God bless Kevin and Mark.
Rest in peace Kevin Conroy 🖤🦇 real batman
Thank you for everything Kevin Conroy you will be missed
He looks so old but he's like...50
He will be 60 in November. He looks good for his age though. He looks like he's in shape.
Yeah well I know that, but what happened 2 years ago? He looked cleaner.
Prodigy
Well this panel was early in the morning so he probably was just really tired lol
Joel Xero oh god, he was the perfect batman. why didn't he born in 1980's, so that he could play in Bats v Supes
Prodigy he's 60
"Yaaaaaaaaaaah"
-Batman
bless his heart😄
losing Kevin was a huge loss for all batman fans everywhere💔
Conroy's hands are bigger than my whole torso
It's cool to meet him.
"hey! It's Bruce Wayne!" ;)
Too bad the two of them will never do Batman and Joker together again.
RIP
Kevin Conroy
Damn Kevin Conroy got some Guns hahaha... one of the best superhero voices out there
What a nice guy
you did him dirty with that thumbnail 😭😭
Kevin conroy sounds like Jeff Goldblum... wait does that mean Jeff can do that batman voice
Greatest Batman ever.
One thing I would’ve loved to see is Kevin and Mark trying to do each others voices. Like Kevin does the Joker voice and Mark does the Batman voice. It would’ve been so cool and funny to see
Legend.
I know he never met me in his life Buti admired his work as batman
I miss this man very much
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill = *actually* the best ever Batman and Joker!
Barry Burton From Resident Evil HD Remastered From 2002 Sounds Like Kevin Conroy
May the force be with you Kevin
I just love his voice. 🥰🥰🥰
He is ripped
Rest in peace
I really gotta meet batman someday! Kevin Conroy!!!
Kevin Conroy will forever be the best Batman
I met him like almost a month ago
0:32 well that's the closest thing we get if batman turned into joker in arkham knight.
Christ, look at those biceps!
It's also fun to watch guys like Jack Black in the recording booth. When he voiced Po, he would work himself up until he was red in the face.
God bless his soul❤
I don't think Mark will ever do the Joker again. Can't have one without the other.
Without you, crime has no punchline, rest in justice🦇⚘️⚘️
We need hamill as a live action movie joker
He looked so young
There will be a day when we'll lose Mark.
I wonder if they’ll have a live-action starting them...?
Welll...we already did that with Kevin....and they did him DIRTY.
Rip Kevin conroy😢
Damn! Checkout Kevin's guns!
Look at those biceps. And they say Batman doesn’t use guns
I can't wait to see mark as skelitor and Kevin as mer man
People : wow this is so cool
me : *the Batman that laughs*
i thought kevin was gonna do a joker impression. That would be funny but I don't think he'd ever have done hamill dirty like that, it's a business at the end of the day 0:32 lmao he did do it kinda
What a king
batman is so bufffff
Please don't compare Hamil with Ledger. Hamil's voice and Ledger's acting was on another level.
