A great way to test a pack under a load. Where did you get the resistors/load?

Ha! I was blown away! How about a benchtop power supply. Runs on 110 or 220, not 12. I'm sure its in the UK.

If you are going to split a 14s5P battery you should split it into two 7s5P batteries. You can bulk charge with a Drok, or any power supply, but you need to have an 8S Hobby charger (they don't make 7S) to balance the halves of the pack. You can power the hobby charger with the 12VDC power supply. Yes, 750 watts would be, speaking generally, not knowing the cells, too much power for a 7S5P battery. 100 watts would be plenty.

I didn't think I could afford an 8s charger but seen a skyrc one for 42£ .I can balance with the drok can I?have a turnigy accucell 6 to do 6s and 2s they seem ok at moment I made another 48v battery for extra range with 36v hoverboard battery plus my own 3s.getting 40v off Samsung hoverboard cells

You could balance with the Drok or any 4.2 volt charger if you charged each parallel group of cells by themselves.......

Hallo'-- I sell to the EU often. BatteryBlocs go United States Postal Service. Expect to spend about $35 US. You can put the items in your cart and see what the web site shipping engine comes up with.
