As I see it, that is the best place in the house to store all the alcohol cause if you get down to grab another bottle and you can't get back up I'd say that is the best sign that says you should be done. Or you can just get your bottle and crawl away.
I'm so sad watching this now. Me and my man had moved to the UK for his job and lived in our own rented house for 3 years and I held Simon and Martina's house as inspiration with all her tiny figurines and tiny garden. And now...well, that's life, isn't it?
I’m kinda sad that Simon and Martina had to leave this house to move back to Canada, they decorated it so well, such a nice backyard and nice house. I know they moved because of COVID and they separated after but it looked like they loved their house.
If you end up staying a while in this house, you can get a chair lift fitted onto the stairs. My grandma has one in her house and it allowed my bampa to move around despite being disabled until his death, and now lets her stay independent on her bad knees. I don't know how much it costs but it's not very obstructive and is definitely much less painful than crawling up the stairs. Plus it's super fun and makes you feel like you're on a rollercoast/the grumpy old guy from Up XD
Good idea it'll definitely help Martina from unnecessary pain :) I saw this cool modern Japanese house with a built in slide, if they had more space, that would be amazing XD

oabuseer Martina has a condition called EDS which causes her chronic pain, they've done a video on it before. Won't let me link it but it's called "Living with Chronic Pain and EDS".
I felt intrusive watching Martina going up the stairs, but in an odd way its comforting as someone who is also (not visibly) disabled. I live in an attic room bc of my sound sensitivity issues but there are so many days when my muscles won't let me get my ass up them without taking many breaks. Thanks for not hiding that portion of your daily life. :)

That's called a fairy garden Martina. My mom has one and whenever I go to the gardening store i enjoy picking out new collectibles. The fairy garden is supposed to attract fairies who will then play in their garden and will help you and your plants grow and become healthy. I love them and I love how cute you decorated yours

Being someone with a physical disability who has trouble with stairs and a husband who is patient while I try to climb them, it made my heart so happy to hear Simon say "Take your time girl." Your relationship is so wonderful in so many ways, and this level of patience and care that you have for one another is one of them. I love you two so much.

I love Japanese bathrooms! Toilet closets separate from the tub and tub/shower being a wet room are the way to go! Tub room as a dryer for clothes is genius!

RavenNight They live in Tokyo so... a full sized home wouldn't be ideal for a college student exactly 😂 it really depends what prefecture you live in, which area of that prefecture you live in, and even who's renting the place out. So really it depends.

The high cupboards are for the snacks, cookies and chocolate so you only take it when you really want it.
