At first glance, it looked like a class 59 by the colouring. The programming sequence is excellent and detailed and that computer software looks like a very good investment

That’s a great and informative upgrade. The loco looks and sounds fantastic after it’s tweaks and the little running session at the end was the cherry on the cake. Thank for sharing.

Amazing step by step. I am absolutely loving your railway, I love all the little detailing and my favourite part of the layout is the station. Really great job and keep up the amazing work!
Also what scale is your railway?

Wow, thanks! The layout is in OO gauge and measures approx 19’ x 12’. 👍

You should try an EM1 speaker in series with a sugercube or single iPhone, Really nice setup and the EM1 just fits straight in

I have tried that combo however preferred the single megabase speaker result. The issue with the EM1 is that it is 0.5W so easily drowned out with the speaker you in series with it. Of course it also depends on which sound file you’re using.

Also you don't even need a separate bit of wire to bridge G&E just use a bit of the yellow wire from Tab D on the Loco PCB since that's redundant anyway

Thanks Harry, I prefer to leave the yellow wire just in case for any reason I want to convert the loco back to factory condition 👍

Thinking of getting back in the hobby, but am slightly put off by the tech nowadays.
    Having to program a train..ect...
All i remember doing was turning a dial to make a train move.))

Was in exactly the same boat as you 18 months ago after having been out of the hobby for 20 years I was amazed how much it had changed and scared to take a body off but there’s so much that can be done now it’s fantastic. Equally, most items are high quality and look great out of the box running on DC. 👍
