CAn u pls make budget friendly face oils? Can u pls make a video on menopausal women skin care pls ? Can u pls make video for body skin care like body lotions , oils , pls ? Sorry to ask you so many videos 🙏❤️
I remember struggling with acne at 14, one day my dad showed me the video where you do makeup to cover acne, I'll never forget that moment, you have grown so much Cassandra, I liked the content back then but right now I love your content. You were and are that girl to me.
i was around the same age when my dad called me 'pizza face' and i broke down crying. such a massive insecurity that people who've never suffered from acne simply dont understand.
I feel like being "that girl" got a bit construed on social media. For me "that girl" is the girl who gets up in the morning even though she may not feel like it. Drinking an extra glass of water because she knows she doesn't hydrate enough. Using sunscreen a few times a week when she has never done it before. Reading a few pages of a book sometimes because she always wanted to have time to read..Being financially responsible and not wasting money on things she doesn't necessarily want or need..and so on... "that girl" could be those things we see on social media, but for most "that girl" is just a happier healthier version of our current self a small step at a time.
Yeah, that was my overall impression of it too. With anything, if we look for the extreme examples, it's possible to find them. But I didn't think that accurately represented the main idea.
I was absolutely fascinated by "that girl" trend back in 2020 when it started to get popular. Then I met the skin and hair "shaming", cuz I'm not perfectly white and my hair is not straight. Also the marketing behind this trend is really fishy, it makes you buy overly expensive products that are not even narrowed for your problems, they just claim to be "green and clean". I needed some time like a year or so to fit myself into that routine without hanging to the trends. For me "that girl" takes her supplements and medications on time, finds time every day to say to her favorite people that she loves them and walks as much as possible during her day. "That girl" always turn and learn, cuz she makes her own money and is a responsable buyer.
True at overpriced shit, and skin and hair should not be shamed, and if someone is shamed by that , that's bad and that person should not listen to that, everyone is different and that is perfect .
My brother has Down Syndrome & Type 1 Diabetes. When he was born in the 70s, he wasn't expected to live past 35. He turns 50 in a week and I can't stop beaming, realizing I never imagined we'd get to grow old together. Not that 50 is old, but it's really amazing watching him & his peers retiring and preparing for senior-hood - this is the first time that the majority of people with a developmental disability in the usa will become senior citizens!!! Really makes me appreciate my wrinkles, although it would be nice if my brother didn't look 30 lol, while I look like the crypt keeper. 3 yrs apart and we get mistaken for mother and child lol...
I would much rather be like you instead of “that girl”. You are so kind, yet honest and real. Your message is amazing and all inclusive and I’m HERE FOR IT. Thank you for this wholesome content.. it’s rare ❤️
I got home from the local spa tonight and clicked on this SO FAST! Working towards creating a perfect, at home routine for my “that girl” lifestyle as a busy, broke mom😅
That's what I'm trying to do too! I spend hours watching Cassandra or James Welsh, to find the affordable products that seem to work for my skin, think and rethink before buying and above all, even if they are not perfect, i'm not going to buy another One until I've finished the First to the last drop!
Thank you so much for mentioning that gua sha is the name of the technique and not actually those overpriced, oddly shaped rocks. As a Chinese American who knew about gua sha way, way, waaaaay before it was trendy & would get it done by her traditional medicine-versed auntie with a comb that cost about $0.05, the cultural appropriation for profit has always bothered me so much.
I’m not Asian, but I learned about lymph node draining and de-puffing with similar gua sha methods from old beauty YTer BubzBeauty back in the day. I’ve been doing it for a long time now, and use a spoon! I can’t believe people are sucked into using super expensive stones or gadgets now because it is “trendy”.
@@Iceechibi they are putting a price on my 'exotic' cultural practice that they don't understand, & making their bastardized version a trend. Gua sha isn't even a technique meant for the face, we would use it mainly on the back, the Gua is for the dragging motion and the Sha is for the red lines that would appear afterwards. It was supposed to remove toxins and relieve fatigue in conjunction with other techniques like acupuncture and fire cupping.
@@Iceechibi literally if you saw someone take that spoon you use for lymph node draining, cover it in gold, rename it 'Suppn,' and insist that no one ever used a 'Suppn' for eating, why, 'Suppns' have always been specifically only for this special beauty technique that only we know how to do so here's one for $99. Wouldn't that drive you insane???
@@Iceechibi ah I didn't mean that you don't get it, I just got excited someone could understand & started ranting. Sorry if I seemed like I was angry at you, I didn't mean it that way 🙏
I'm so glad that social media wasn't a thing until I was over 40. I shudder to think how crazy it would have made me when I was younger. And I have to say, extremely expensive skin care products..say over $50 for a container...are a hard pass for me, with very few exceptions. I can afford them, but, just no. And NO GOOP PRODUCTS. EVER.
Same… Tbh there are ppl who like to collect/ purchase/ invest on the more random stuff (rare coins, peculiar cars, items used by celebrities, expensive merch from their fav celebrities, vintage luxurious bags and etc) so it gets me mad when people are judged by the price they pay for their rly expensive skincare products (personally as you also said something similar, I like to invest on my skincare but most of the products I used usually ain’t that expensive with a few exceptions… But I mean that’s about our money so it’s alright), buuuuuut sometimes it does let us feel like how you describe ahahh! Kisses!!
Being "that" girl is just an image. I don't think that, realistically, anyone can live that life 24/7. If anything, I feel like someone trying to live a "that" girl is just scrambling to manage a perfect life as a distraction from their other problems. (This isn't to say "that girl" is actually a mess, it's just a possibility.) It's impossible to have a perfect routine at all times. Things happen in life that will affect us and cause us to stumble, to fall and affect our day to day life. It doesn't have to be related to our mental health, but perfection just doesn't exist. It's like you mentioned, there's a difference between having a consistent, healthy routine VS being obsessed with wanting a perfect, ideal life. What's important is to be forgiving of yourself because we can't always be up at 6AM, making our matcha lattes and doing pilates, etc. Sometimes, our studies or work will stress us out. Sometimes, we'll need a day off to snooze and relax. Not to mention, introverts and extraverts alone are completely different. Being the best version of yourself is the only thing important. None of us should strive to be "that girl" because it only creates more pressure for perfection. Be yourself, but always strive to improve yourself, always strive to be better for yourself. That's all there should be to it.
After watching over a month's worth and dozens of your videos, I just want to say thank you! As a mature woman, I sure could have used this channel 30 years ago! I love the wealth of information.
I couldnt imagine thinking i needed all this stuff when i was a broke teenager. Its hard enough as a 23 yo with a full time job. Social media can be so toxic. Thanks Cassandra! ❤️❤️
Yes Girl! I am so happy you said something about about putting retinal on your hands after I wash my face at night and do my skin care everything that goes on my face goes on my hands my arms my elbows and then I finish it up with some cocoa butter and then the last thing is my cocoa butter Vaseline and my hands are baby smooth they will have that glass look to them like everybody wants on their face.
Hand creams! As someone who recognizes that hands age like your face and actually contribute to a person "appearing" older than they are, I spend a little time on mine, just not with an expensive product. Whatever goes on my face also goes on the backs of my hands. My skincare routine actually starts there. I dispense each step onto the back of my clean left hand and use my right hand to apply to my face then swipe the backs of my hands together and rub in. This goes for the sunscreen too. Thank you for your well informed videos and casual, inclusive style. I am in my early forties and wish I'd found you 15 years ago. My skin is better than ever and I am helping it to stay youthful, and protected longer thanks to you.
The end got me a little emotional! What you're saying is literally so true, the pressure social media puts on us is a lot when you realize it! Thank you so much
After 6 months I finally have a derm appt this morning and am beyond stoked! This video is the perfect thing to get ready to. Ty for the budget friendly recs
Thank you! For all you do! It is SO refreshing to get away from all that fakeness that rolls around social media posing as standards. I enjoy the science, the learning and I enjoy your goofines and adorable personality. Literally made my day ❤️
Jesus I was having such a bad day today - broke my routine, I got a blemish on my chin, didn’t sleep well caring for my sick dog, got only 4 hours of sleep and all the while dealt with getting my house prepped for visitors. And yet. After watching this.. I feel okay. I feel accepting of my bad day. The bags under my eyes and the tired dried hands I have for cooking home remedies for my pup today. I see my blemishes on my skin. And yet after this video, I feel connected to all the woman in the world who “aren’t that girl” 100% percent of the time. Thank you so much for that I needed that support today 🖤
I really like the aesthetic of that girl trend, and I feel motivated watching the little videos on Instagram and what else, but I don't like the extremism of some content creators. It's 2022 don't exclude people because of skin texture or skin colour/different hair, come on. And not using sunscreen is just stupid. What I was amazed about is to get to know people really think that is something you can achieve and that people really think they have that aesthetic all the time. It's fake, it's a pretty picture people put online because it's cute, they don't do that every day. "That girl" doesn't exist and never will
Yes! This video needs to have a million likes, it is that real. I honestly do not understand the whole Hollywood obsession with Goop and its ridiculous "products" ( remember the candle that smelled like Paltrow's orgasm? i mean seriously). We all want good skin but as for someone who is always on a budget, i appreciate this videos so soo much! Thank you Cassandra!
One thought about hand cremes. Hand cremes have been a huge part of my life since I was a child. I have extremely dry hands (although my face is slightly oily, WTF body?). My hands are so dry that the skin literally rips during winter. This is always extremely painful (especially working in a medical field where you have to disinfect your hands every couple minutes). I am one of the girls that would put on a thick layer of creme like Nivea and put some cotton gloves over it so it can soak during the night. Has been a constant battle for me
I would love a video on your car skincare routine! I have a rare autoimmune disease (similar to Lupus) that affects my skin & have an hour car ride to & from work, so this would be amazing to see! I have my sunscreen & sun hat, but I would love to learn more!
Always learning from your videos how to be a "skintellectual" person! :) That really make sense, like if someone has money they could buy even a la'mer, but personally I am not ready to spend a hundred billions on overhyped products. And thank you, Cassandra, for being here for us with your wisdom!
Those Pacifica eye patches burned my under eyes so badly . The only eye patches that never ever burn my skin are the Good Molecules Eye Patches. They are the business.
I am so glad I seem to live on a different side of tiktok because this would depress me so fast if I was bombarded by it every time I was on the app. Yeah I'm 32 years old but my life is a s*** show and I tend to hate myself more often than not. Seeing people do this crap, and gatekeep it no less, just leads to me feeling low and "othered" more than I normally do. I'm glad that you have offered alternatives and gave the reminder that not everyone is perfect, no matter how hard we try to portray ourselves as. It can be hard to remember.
Relate much... The pain!! 😔🥺🥺🤧 That is why I just watch this for entertainment purposes cause I can't afford most products in here, yes even some less then 10 dollars ones... The most important thing is to turn off being onto the trends and sick to a skin care routine that works for you and is friendly to your budget cause Cassandra is right... "That girl" aesthetic is expensive and only for the privileged peepz outta there..
Speaking of the that girl trend; I think everyone's version of "That girl” should be different and consists of what makes THAT individual feel good. And it should cater to your lifestyle (how much time it takes) so that it's sustainable and the habits are consistent. I 100% feel better when I do some of the typical "that girl" things early in the morning, I just do it my way aka a workout I look forward to, just throwing my comforter over my bed, eating a quick breakfast I like, etc.
I love your channel so much I was so excited for another video you have have helped me with my acne so much and helped me love my skin keep being amazing
I’ve just went back to being a student and can’t afford much skincare products. I’ve been very stressed and breaking out, with all kinds of problems popping up. This is such a helpful video while also being entertaining and enlightening about toxic social media culture. Thank you for this video 🙏
✨🌸Hey Cassandra!! Can you please do a review on function of beauty skin care!! I think they have some dark secrets, they also are a hair care company before they started skin care!!!✨🌸
I’ve used than pyunkangyul eye cream and when I say it makes my eye circles disappear overnight…. I mean they come back after work but I was just shocked it actually worked… lightly apply though because it is a bit sensitizing on my sensitive skin (more so when I accidentally get it in my eyes)
The amount of shade you throw is crazy 😂 I laughed at your imitations of “That girl” and totally agree with you. I love your videos, thanks so much for making my day and my skin happy! 💕☺️
I'm 42 now. I did the beauty boxes that would include beauty products, that I would try and use, but they would just break me out. What I noticed for my skin is less is best. Wash morning and night, with a wash that works best for my skin... Then once in awhile I use bff serum, afterwards SPF and moisturizer. My skin is great, except when I'm going through "hormonal changes". People always say I look like I'm in my early 30's, I wish🤣. I might use a retinol that I accidentally bought from Paula's choice, which did peel my skin (if was scary), but I learned to use some moisturizer first, it works great!... But I only use it maybe once a month, because I don't need it badly.
When glow recipe did their products with whamisa, there were bugs in the face wash. They never announced it, never did a recall. I'm sorry, but that was shady as heck.
This actually reminds me a lot of vegan TH-cam a decade ago lol. Everyone was a “that girl” of health, making crazy delicious looking smoothies and salads, and whipping up a homemade face mask for their already perfect skin 😅
Cassandra!!!! Yâss!!! These are the kind of videos you make that I like. They are truthful and powerful. Stay true to yourself, please. Last video was a flop and you e just proven yourself that you can make great content. Please please keep it up queen!!! I was “that girl” with the expensive items and drinks. It’s literally your life. And eats at your life, you want everything perfect. They way you walk, talk, sit, order. Explain yourself… things like that… as someone who still finds this as a skin care/ self care and hobby, I still don’t mind the multiple steps routine. Just remember that simple routine is also nice and sometimes better. There are some affordable items that are very great and work so well. Have a reason why you buy something. There is more to life than popularity. Go out and have fun on your own, it’s great!! I still buy Lux items when I budget, it’s not an always purchase. You’ll be surprised how long items last, Lux or not. When I was doing this every day, yeah it’s stressful. Not showing it is the trick. The compliments is what we seek. Now I still dress nice and do my face care for me, not for anyone else. And if I get a compliment, cool. I know my worth and don’t seek them anymore. Luxury skincare is fun but, follow the science and not branding on its own. I LOVE these videos Cassandra! I love the way you’re shifting your YT. Skin care and mental health checks and resurgence that we shouldn’t stress on being perfect in skin. Ok, not 25 but like it’s up there haha… but not everyone has time. Like it’s not possible.
See, I'm a woman - I started menstruating in 1996. I'm so very unaffected by "that girl" bullshit because I'm not a girl and don't need to participate in that childish rubbish. Respect yourself women, lift yourselves out of the social media nonsense and be sensible.
Yep, “those girls” are going to get a rude awakening when they have children and a household to run along with the extra job they will need to buy those products that will sit forlornly on their shelves because they will be too tired to do anything but cleanse and slap a moisturizer on! They go from that girl to ____”s mom!😂
@@Lani.Kaliana and I'm quite sure you're happier for it than bankrupting yourself over the latest fad thing and the inevitable shame spiral that sets in when it doesn't work and you're broke hahahaha 😉 I know I am, I learned the science and set myself up with great basics that actually work for me. Real life is far less complicated than "that girl" seems to think
I just randomly came across this video, but I have to say, it's definitely one of my new favorites. I have often beat myself up for not being "that girl" that we see on TikTok. Thank you for this!! :)
Thank you so much for this video, I totally agree with you on the toxicity of so many things that include THAT GIRL. The options you gave were so helpful for me!
I have very dry and sensitive skin. The Jin Jung Sung essence makes the dry spots near my mouth get worse and actually get flaky. But love the Jin Jung Sung intensive repair cream is amazing Just saying -because every persons skin is different 🤷♀️
I cry every time you show the Pacifica Vegan Ceramide Range because it's still not available in the UK! 😢 Can't get over how informative your videos are!
This was very positive and informative, Cassandra. I honestly don't try to be anyone but myself. It's too tasking to be "that girl." That's honestly a fad, and essentially, all fads die out. It's best to just be yourself.
Wait.. I think I have a micro foaming cleanser too , it's the Amie glow + bright face wash from Target LOL. And the Amie soft + smooth exfoliating polish. They are 6.99 and 8.49. so about $15.50.
Would love to see Cassandra to make a video on Trader Joe’s skincare! Love the sunscreen, it’s a chemical sunscreen that never makes my skin sting, has Vitamin C and E, is insanely cheap, and makes me look radiant! I love the glow it gives me! Love their water gel moisturizer too, it’s an amazing dupe for the Neutrogena one, but it’s even better tbh cause it has squalene and is SO CHEAP!!! They have a hyaluronic serum that’s super simple, but effective and cheap and I love it. Really want to try out their new retinol serum they came out with. Overnight masks are amazing and suuuuuuper hydrating and brightening! Don’t love the cleansing pads since they sting a lil and have denatured alcohol as like the second ingredient so they’re too drying to use regularly for me, but I still have them for when I’m too lazy to wash my face (which isn’t very often). They also have marula oil that’s even cheaper than The Ordinary’s!!! Not by a lot, but still! Wish they had rosehip oil. Don’t love the oil cleanser cause it smells + tastes like vomit and stings my eyes, but it does work well and leaves my face feeling super soft and is great for when my skin barrier needs more moisture and some gentleness. It’s got a nice, thick feeling when I wash my face with it that I really like. I could go on and on tbh, haven’t used everything of theirs, but they have a lot of super affordable gems and are 1000% worth looking into if you have a Trader Joe’s in your area!
I LOVE SUNSCREEN especially mineral because it's so gentle on my skin. I love trying new ones out. Ofc when I have the money. But it's so fun to always find what suits you.🥰
It's unfortunate that "that girl" became so toxic. There are plenty of good lessons and habits to take away from it, but it really has grown to have exclusionary and definitely has classist undertones. Sure eating good food, and taking care of your skin, and keeping your house clean, and working out is good for you. But the way it's presented just feels so damaging. You see this super unrealistic lifestyle and then end up feeling worse about yourself when you can't achieve it. Super happy to see this video and help people on a budget realize they can still take good care of themselves without breaking the bank
I’ve used Good Genes for years (it’s great!) and I’ve never paid for it, as it’s so frequently included in GWP, sample packs, rewards offers, etc. Same for their Vitamin C serum. My mom uses and loves the Sweet Chef Beet Serum. She’s 74 and no one believes it. 🙌🏼
Love this video. Been binging your channel everyday now since I found you. Also during this trend I cam across a youtuber Mckenna Walker. She defintley is an example of that girl but i can't believe every aspect of her life is top tier. Her content does show that more with skin/bodycare.
I love that you said this about gua sha!! I had an asian physical therapist (he was honestly like a dad to me) at university when I was an NCAA athlete. And he would bruise my achilles tendon and healed me from my tendonitis. But when I started hearing about gua sha being used as a skin care routine I was VERY confused and was concerned for all the girls faces because gua sha is aggressive hahaha. All that to say gua sha was used for me to break down scar tissue deep deep in injuries in muscles and tendons/ligaments. And it’s PAINFUL, yet effective.
The “that girl” esthetic hasn’t been something I aspire to have. It’s a bit unrealistic, I’m more minimalist when it comes to products (and just in general)- I prefer a simpler routine. I’ve also found less expensive k beauty products work better for my skin. There are products that I’ll splurge on, but they have to be pretty dang good and don’t have a dupe that I know of.
I’ve found the easiest and most cost effective way to be “this girl” and live my best life is to pay attention to what i want and what my skin actually needs. Once you get to know your skin it makes the whole skincare thing faster, easier, and WAY cheaper then just chasing trends before it’s supposed to be “good for you”.
Amazing recs! One note/fun fact: Dr. Sturm actually isn't a dermatologist. She actually trained in "orthopedics" and her credentials are kept super vague. I believe the university she studied at is called Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in Germany, and if I'm not mistaken German medical degrees are called something different than MD. German physicians do not call themselves "Dr.", if this is where they trained (there is different terminology that I'm not familiar with...I came across "“Arzt” or “Ärztin”?). In Germany, the title of "Dr." is more reserved for academics/people with PhDs, from what I understand. I thought for *years* that she was a derm...it's crazy how people try to use "Dr." as a marketing ploy. Would love to see Cassandra de-bunk this brand!
The Dr. Barbara Sturm eye cream is an incredible rip off. $140 (!!!) for .5 ml of...mostly water and macadamia oil? Seriously? I think this trend is a way to push people (mostly women) to waste a lot of time and money. I assume the influencers who make these videos are making money off it somehow.
CASSANDRA IS A LIFE SAVER!! I rarely break out but when I do… it’s horrible and I used a spot treatment she suggested(AcneFree terminator 10) and my huge zit is gone… in two days 😩 Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU GIRL!!! You’re the peoples champ 💪🏼
I don't even do make up, but I look up for videos like these because aside from I learn something with make up or beauty products or some of the chemicals, this greatly helps me use english slangs or words properly. I'm from the Philippines btw. I love your videos!!!
I love love LOVE you! 🥰I LOVE your pure honesty even the little things like toothpaste splashes on your (our) mirror. I just wanna hug you and squeeze you 😁😁😁🦋
Just wanted you to know you're the only person who got me excited about sunscreen 😅 Just bought a couple you recommended in the K beauty sunscreens video and can't wait for them to arrive to start trying them out 😊 Love your content, I'm learning so much! ❤
I would love to see you making this kind of routine but with products easy to buy wordlwide! Please remember, you have fans all over the world ❤️ greetings from Poland 🥰🥰
Agree with you 💯%. I think of my skin care as daily therapy, it just gives me joy!! And I don’t think being in debt or spending too much will ever bring me joy, only anxiety & that will cause you to age! So no thank you. 😄

I remember struggling with acne at 14, one day my dad showed me the video where you do makeup to cover acne, I'll never forget that moment, you have grown so much Cassandra, I liked the content back then but right now I love your content. You were and are that girl to me.
This is so cute mannn🥺
This is so cute ❤️

Awwww
i was around the same age when my dad called me 'pizza face' and i broke down crying. such a massive insecurity that people who've never suffered from acne simply dont understand.
I literally read the thumbnail “that girl on a buffet” I’m like ok same tho..
I think this wins comment of the year.
Thank you 😂🥲

I have no idea what goop wellness culture is and I’m curious but maybe I’m better off being in the dark lol
This is my exactly take on this ‘aesthetic’, and why I strive toward it.
Here's to making "This Girl" an actual thing to combat "That Girl" style expectations ✌🏻
Love that you said “aging is a privilege, not everyone gets to do it”!!!!
I say this all the time ♥️
That's so true. I've had loved ones, friends, and associates that will never see my age or older. It is a blessing to age.
@@akaneakane1969 ofc it would drive me insane? I was agreeing with you o.o
Kisses!!
I’m sorry but what is a goop (English ain’t my first language)?? I made my research but I still don’t exactly get it :(
@@myaccounttoskincarerelated9891 I think it is a skin care brand... Like the supergoup skin care line?? The ones with good sunscreens heresay

Being "that" girl is just an image. I don't think that, realistically, anyone can live that life 24/7. If anything, I feel like someone trying to live a "that" girl is just scrambling to manage a perfect life as a distraction from their other problems. (This isn't to say "that girl" is actually a mess, it's just a possibility.)
It's impossible to have a perfect routine at all times.
This !!!!!!
"That Girl" Has a Trust Fund & never has to work!
SAME, I wasn't 14 but my sister showed me her cover up video & it gave me hope!
The bliss watermelon mask is also a good dupe for the glow recipe mask :)
I loved how you spoke about how your hands need to be part of your routine. I'm 52 and have been doing it since I was in my 30's.
That's what my great grandma used to say " if you put it on your face, you put ir on your hands" true!!!
I want these girls to do what makes them happy, but I'm exhausted every day, and that's one thing I never see in an influencer.
The end got me a little emotional! What you're saying is literally so true, the pressure social media puts on us is a lot when you realize it! Thank you so much
Your beautiful eyes are the most noticeable feature of your face. Your eyes naturally shape your beauty astonishing
After 6 months I finally have a derm appt this morning and am beyond stoked! This video is the perfect thing to get ready to. Ty for the budget friendly recs
Turn and learn lmao I love the whole attitude/tone of this video
Thank you! For all you do! It is SO refreshing to get away from all that fakeness that rolls around social media posing as standards.
I enjoy the science, the learning and I enjoy your goofines and adorable personality. Literally made my day ❤️
Your videos are so underrated! They’re funny and backed up by facts while also being relatable and real. Also your eyes are so pretty 💓
i’m obsessed with your whole look in this video. you’re “that girl” to me 🥺❤️
Jesus I was having such a bad day today - broke my routine, I got a blemish on my chin, didn’t sleep well caring for my sick dog, got only 4 hours of sleep and all the while dealt with getting my house prepped for visitors.
Thank you so much for that
I needed that support today 🖤
I really like the aesthetic of that girl trend, and I feel motivated watching the little videos on Instagram and what else, but I don't like the extremism of some content creators. It's 2022 don't exclude people because of skin texture or skin colour/different hair, come on. And not using sunscreen is just stupid. What I was amazed about is to get to know people really think that is something you can achieve and that people really think they have that aesthetic all the time. It's fake, it's a pretty picture people put online because it's cute, they don't do that every day. "That girl" doesn't exist and never will
I love the title "that girl" shouldn't spend that much, very true!

I've learned so much from you, I just wish even the budget products you recommend would be actually budget friendly in my country
Same
Relate much... The pain!! 😔🥺🥺🤧
That is why I just watch this for entertainment purposes cause I can't afford most products in here, yes even some less then 10 dollars ones... The most important thing is to turn off being onto the trends and sick to a skin care routine that works for you and is friendly to your budget cause Cassandra is right... "That girl" aesthetic is expensive and only for the privileged peepz outta there..
I continue to appreciate this channel 👏
I absolutely love sweet chef the vitamin a serum, the HA serum, and the oat milk cleanser are def holy grails
Thank you Cassandra!!
Edit: toxic positivity. You brighten my day by giving me cheap alternatives. Thanks
Thank you for talking about toxic positivity!! It needs to be talked about!!
Love this!! & the way you present all the "good stuff" like why this & not that...especially at budget prices. Thanks!
DO A CAR SKIN CARE ROUTINE!!!
That sounds fun. Pleeeassee
How long did it take for the cream to work? I have bought it recently but I don’t see a lot of people talk about it or review it
The amount of shade you throw is crazy 😂 I laughed at your imitations of “That girl” and totally agree with you.
Your pronunciation of Calendula made me chuckle. You’re adorable.
See, I'm a woman - I started menstruating in 1996. I'm so very unaffected by "that girl" bullshit because I'm not a girl and don't need to participate in that childish rubbish.
Respect yourself women, lift yourselves out of the social media nonsense and be sensible.
Yeah pretty much all them girls under 23. Any older and we're too busy to care or notice
@@cetriyasArtnComicsChannel are u 23/ 24?
Yep, “those girls” are going to get a rude awakening when they have children and a household to run along with the extra job they will need to buy those products that will sit forlornly on their shelves because they will be too tired to do anything but cleanse and slap a moisturizer on! They go from that girl to ____”s mom!😂
Because of this same exact thought I had one day I actually started purchasing much more affordable products by basic brands like cetaphil and Cera Ve

This was very positive and informative, Cassandra. I honestly don't try to be anyone but myself. It's too tasking to be "that girl." That's honestly a fad, and essentially, all fads die out. It's best to just be yourself.
Loved this video so much I feel a lot less insecure about my skin , I have really textured skin
I have NEVER commented before, but I must now. I absolutely love you. At 53, one knows who's bull...ing us. You are not. Keep up the honest work.
This video is so jam packed full of knowledge that my brain is soaking up. Thank you so much!
Love this video. Been binging your channel everyday now since I found you. Also during this trend I cam across a youtuber Mckenna Walker. She defintley is an example of that girl but i can't believe every aspect of her life is top tier. Her content does show that more with skin/bodycare.
Literally going to buy almost all of these recommendations. Love love love
This made me so happy. It's refreshing. Thank you!
And it’s PAINFUL, yet effective.
and THAT is the tea (love you so much!)
Man, my "that girl" moment is the occasional cold sheet mask that I keep in my "beauty fridge" that was like $25 on Amazon lol.
“on a budget”
*la mer in the thumbnail*
ahaha not me thinking the budget were the dupes and not the original propaganda products 💀
Turn & Learn! ❤️ Love that phrase.
That Gorl aesthetic after this video: 💹 matcha gang ftw too 💚
The “that girl” esthetic hasn’t been something I aspire to have.
I love you❤️ thank you for reminding us what true positivity is & what it means to really love yourself!
This is an amazing video for a beginner girl like me. So good. I’m bookmarking all of these affordable and logical products. Thank you.

Who here is super grateful for the straightforward, no bullsh*t, sweet, and sassy knowledge that Cassandra is serving??? 🙋🏻♀️
I love the Jin Jung Sung essence!!!
Hahaha. I love the Glow Recipe thing. I have three of their items (PS love their avocado retinol eye cream) but it is one of my splurgy items.
