Some of the dances difficulty levels are ranked by how BTS members have rank themselves in past interviews. Eg. Dionysius & Idol are much more high intensity throughout the songs but DNA has more intricate moves.

The video was 3 years ago, before Map of the Soul 7 with Black Swan and On, still, i do agree that this list was very off in my opinion regarding difficulty whether they're talking about the difficult moves transitions or just how tiring the choreo is.

Not really, because the person who made the video for a lot of the choreos they were going based off what the members said themselves in interviews. Some choreo's might not LOOK difficult compared to others but that doesn't mean they aren't. Especially when you are BTS, and you have to practice these choreo's for HOURS on end and then perform them live while singing at the same time. If the members feel like some choreo's are harder than others, than that's not something we can dictate because THEY are the ones performing it, these choreo's are ranked by how hard and tiring the members THEMSELVES think they are.

One thing about BTS' choreographies, they dance them so well that they make it all look so easy when it's really not. I've seen some say they can easily copy a choreo and completely fail. For me it's hard to rank the hardest choreos because there's many where maybe one key point is difficult whereas other songs may have more than one. It's a matter of opinion of course. A professional dancer might be able to give the technical reasons why some are considered harder.

A lot of the synchronization is what makes some of the “easier” looking dances higher in ratings too because one person out of sync can make the dance not look as clean, and staying in sync is extremely hard, they just make it look effortless.
You should also check out Seventeens easiest to hardest videos, especially since they’re considered one of the largest synchronized groups.

Ya’ll making this too deep. Jimin won an award MMA for Fake Love. Jimin demonstrated the marionette drop to trainees on one of those trainee tv shows. The guys dancing style in the beginning was more complex all of that synchronization. Although Jimin had trained in numerous styles it was difficult for him initially because of the “rigidness” of synchronized dancing. Contemporary is very fluid, graceful, expressive. If you notice, Jimin still performs with a fluidity that the others don’t. JK in the beginning didn’t dance very well. Bang sent him away to the US to train with Song for I think a month. He fell in love with dancing. He has been studying
Hip hop and B-Boy with an instructor in the last couple of years. I can see the difference. Tae studied dance when he was preparing for singularity. He became a member of the dance line after that.
We see him tuttin and everything in one of the butter remixes.
In the beginning Song was teaching all of the choreography. As the matured as a group, they incorporated more of Jimin’s contemporary style-more sophisticated. ***Did you ever watch their first video, BTS Introduction Performance trailer? All dance /choreography to non BTS music. No singing.
Hobi can watch choreo once and learn it. He and Jimin participate in helping the other members learn the choreography. They also may add some changes. There is a Jimin as dance teacher video on the Jimin Videos TH-cam channel. #Redemption46 #Redeemer 💜🫰🏾

These rankings are weird and all over the place.... especially when they ranked Fake Love low... and Dope too... I was like what the hell... Who ranked their dances like this? Not sure if they are professional dancers or they tried the dances themselves and ranked it according to how fast they pick up the choreo... A lot of these dances BTS have accounts of them saying how hard and stressful they were to even practice them day by day with no sleep because they were THAT hard... I know this is not something to be upset about but Jesus... they don't know what they are talking about. The rankings don't give much justice to how these dances were done.
The list was made after mots: persona. It hasn't been updated.
If it was blackswan, on and run BTS would definitely be there
A lot of their newer dances are more difficult as this is an old video but still fun to watch. I would say Run BTS and On would be some of their hardest

The kimchi looked delicious. But yes you spotted that it was made before ON and Blackswan. But also as some others said it’s what they have also marked as difficult themselves. I think the complexity of the formations, how many transitions etc, use of floor space, wether it’s mainly footwork based (which is harder) or upper body work. Tricks as well. They also base on whole choreo. Thanks very much for your detailed discussion. I also agree that fake love should be a bit higher.

this is not my favorite compilation of easiest to hardest BTS choreographies since I also feel there are some choreos (at least the 70%-80% of the ones shown on this one) that should be ranked higher but I love when reactors like you guys are able to see the many range of choreos that BTS can pull out and see you all exciting Nick was worth the watch lol, I wish a group of professionals dancers (in different genres of dance) could sit one day and reacts and then rank the whole BTS choreos from A to Z from easiest to hardest ones, I'll watch that video without hesitation!, thank you guys for the reaction 💜😄
@Shane yes I am aware of that, this was just MY perception as a fan, it doesn't mean I am the one who will dictate the ranking of the choreos.

I think they ranked RUN harder than Fake Love because RUN has props, that jacket flip move they do is annoying and exhausting. Props make everything a little more anxiety inducing cuz there is more room for error.

@@REDEMPTION46 exactly, these videos shows the diversity between bts choreos but still are not made by experts in the field, these ranks definitely don't respond to the "difficulty" of the choreo, and these are old video that don't contain new choreos that are harder (it doesn't have to be faster dances because we know fast and strong dance doesn't mean you're dancing good or that the choreo is good),
