people only say rm and jin aren’t skilled dancers because they’re literally being compared to members who have danced their whole lives. they can dance for 2 hours straight perfectly during concerts, they’re VERY skilled. people just scrutinise their dancing even though the average person could never keep up with jin or rm on stage
It's not like the other members are skilled either only dance line because they learned dancing before
The only members skilled in dance are Hoseok and Jimin. The mains dancers. The rest have few months or not so much time. Not far from Jin.

Suga actually did bboying before the accident that caused his long-term shoulder injury. That injury, not his skill, has hindered him since before BTS debuted. Imagine spending 9+ years dancing at BTS' level with a torn shoulder that never quite healed before finally getting surgery done last year.
V took lessons in dance and singing as a child because he dreamed of being a performer. His teachers didn't see his potential but BigHit obviously did. After JHope, he is the fastest at learning new choreography & also remembers the old choreographies the best. Not a lot of KPop "visuals" get time in the center of dance performances (how often did we cry over neglected Jin & how excited do we now get to see "center Jin" finally getting more of a role?) but V has rotated into that position quite often starting from Dark & Wild on. I would even suggest he was there at least as often as JHope who, despite being dance leader, seemed to get shuffled to the back more and more often in favor of showing off the maknae line as they progressed through the School Trilogy & HYYH.
Jungkook wanted to be a dancer, not a singer, when he joined BTS. BigHit even sent him to train for dance in the US (he was very technical & just needed to learn to be expressive) and he ended up being an official part of the dance line at debut. He was called the Golden Maknae cause he was good at everything from the start: rapping, singing, AND dance.
THREE J is the dance line because they have the most natural talent & or training but that does not mean all other members had no training prior to their 16+hour days as trainees or that they had less potential to be or aren't skilled.

you can not say that about Jin, that so disrespectful. “if Jin can do this dance steps, you can do this dance steps.”. I’m sorry but it sounds like Jin is so bad that everyone can dance if he can. Btw Jin is not a bad dancer and he improved a lot since their debut, so we should stop calling him the worst or a bad dancer.

I get sad everytime someone is not seeing his hardwork and effort. Altho he's not as good as the other members (like jhope and jimin coz obviously they're alrdy dancing be4 they joined bts, have some common sense) but his dance skill is enough to cope up with bts choreo like if you watch their old dance practices and stuff, it was hard asf and the fact that he learned dancing from zero amazes me and appreciate him so much. So don't you ever tell me that jin is not a good dancer.
To be honest I can't even think how hard it is to Dance specially if you're not from professional background. Jin impresses me soo much like he literally dances better than all of us.
@@chynchyn159 Same. Jin did all of the BTS choreo, he was never excused not to do it. When he is asked, he will do it. Remember when he covered for Yoongi during an ON dance break perf for an award show? He may not be as good as the dance line but he can keep up. I don’t like the part where he said if Jin can do it, he can do it too. Like why doesn’t he make a video where he sings and dance like Jin does. Let’s see if he can keep up.
People just try to compare him to other members, specifically to the dance line, which is absurd. Of course, compared to professional dancers, everyone else usually falls short. However, compared to an "average" person or just a non-trained dancer, Jin is actually very good 😁
P.S.: and I'm saying this as a dancer myself, so I do have authority on this opinion.

The fact that Jin till this day keeps up with BTS choreographies (which we ALL know is NO joke) every single one of them he always delivers and even when BTS in their earlier days would play the random dance game Jin NEVER messed up no matter how the tempo of the song was or how fast they kept on switching songs even his position he always got it right he has an amazing muscle memory and he literally only started dancing in his early 20s a lot of people with no background dancing experience wouldn’t be able to pull it off. Only if they saw how Jin did the choreo for ON, Dionysus and the other hardcore choreo of BTS. They only saw Dynamite which is literally an easy choreo cause it was meant to comfort ARMY. But Jin worked so hard to be able to keep up with the other members.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Jin has stepped down from the bus to the studio. He has master the art of singing and yes dancing. There is no weak link in BTS. Each member carries their weight. One reason we love them is that each one of them gets to shine in this group. No one is left behind..
BTS without Jin wouldn't be completed. And it works for each members. 💜

And that’s all on top of being Bangtan’s emotional center. Jin truly is what analysts call the magic that holds the team together and makes it all work.
Right and the ones who know these songs and claim to be and amry, they are putting this weird opinion in their friends minds who they are tryna introduce Bts yk? jin been dancing for 10 years now, he had no experience prior to bts. he is a professional dancer, put some respect on his name. i mean y'all can try to memorize all of those choreos in your head and be able to dance all of that while singing, after that y'all can talk that "if jin can do it i can do it" smhh

Jin makes rarely dance mistakes, the least amount on stage actually. Don’t respect him and the other members like that. They are all professional entertainers.
Jin is an amazing dancer, he’s been working hard for 9 years, and it paid off. I find it disrespectful that you would bash him like that, when he’s had so much progress since.
Let's be honest he learns the steps but if we watched him dance alone we see immediately that he does not have the grace of a dancer, and that's normal, on the other hand he is a talented singer.

Exactly... he worked very hard. Which is quite inspirational that someone with no dance background, through tenacity and effort, can become such a good dancer. He serves as an inspiration to others that if you try hard, you may be able to dance well also.. which is pretty much what they said...

Y'all gotta give where credit is due bc yes Jin didn't come from a dance background. Neither did rm so when u look and someone like him in comparison, yes he isn't gonna be like that but Jin can definitely dance his ass off. Both him, rn, and sugar can dance really well. Even if so, it's not easy getting to that level of dance as they have practiced for literal years. So they are definitely better than your average person. Bc not all the dances Jin will do you can do.
Sometimes i get offended when someone comment about Jin's dancing ability as average. For me keeping up with Jhope itself shows his capability.

Two of them are literal machines, especially in thei comfortzone and the other is a goat too. Furthermore, bts dances in MANY different genre's and most important they are overworked.

Jin is a great dancer:) obviously he’s not on the same level as j hope and jimin who both came from dancing backgrounds. Jin has been dancing for over 9 years and he’s a very talented dancer he started dancing after joining bts and had zero experience. He literally stayed up till 5 am just to get the dance moves right and if you ask any army they will tell you Jin has improved the most dance wise..

If you search up BTS dancing mistakes, Jin is the only one who has none. The rest of the members have made more mistakes but people hate on him based on lies and misconceptions. Jin's my top favorite dancer next to yoongi.

Seokjin deserves a better fandom, you are all being shady in the comment section, Seokjin being a "bad dancer" is a stereotype started by his company and enforced by the other members and his own fandom, for what reasons we can all just speculate, I mostly believe it's the way of the company to promote others and because the members can't read a room nor crack inoffensive jokes for the life of them, armys are just bottom of the barrel so no need for an explanation there. But no one who watches their performances for the first time ever thinks he's lacking, they only learn to think that way when they repeat what the fandom has spread. You are all under the impression that having no experience equals having no talent, Seokjin started fresh and exceeded expectations. The comment if Seokjin can do it, anyone can too is the most delusional thing I've heard this week, he has more talent in his little finger than you all have combined between all of you. You sit there reacting for a living while he's a multitalented millionaire. And everyone in the comment section suddenly being a dance coach are just as bad. Seokjin never makes mistakes in fact he's the one with fewer mistakes on stage, Seokjin never exaggerates the moves, they are clean, precise and sharp, he's never lazy, and he always looks good dancing, you all seem to think smirking at the camera, sticking your tongue out and being all over the place is good dancing, some idols do this in the hope of gaining attention, big hard movements are okay but they tend to look sloppy. He's been doing the same choreography for years and you still act as he has been just keeping up, the truth is that he has been underutilized nothing else, he's flexible, graceful and knows taekwondo none of these abilities have been utilized, it's not a lack of ability but opportunity. And don't you dare say he himself has said this and that, because learning at a slow pace only makes me see him as a perfectionist it says absolutely nothing about his skills. And using his vulnerable moments of self-doubt as an excuse as to why you are always looking for weaknesses in his dancing just makes you a horrible person, every single member has had those moments but none are used against them later, maybe we should talk about vocals, but then I would be called an anti for pointing out weaknesses some of the other members have vocally. If you all were, to be honest, and objective you would see how some in the group move lazily, some move like they are having a seizure and some make mistakes every single comeback, but because he's more modest and doesn't exaggerate his stage presence he's the one singled out. The only way to truly compare them as dancers are to give them all the same amount of centre time, some groups tend to rotate their centre, not all the time but at least enough to linger on some of the members that aren't the usual centre, give him challenging choreo, let him shine and then we can all have this conversation again. You were like this about his vocals too, always talking about them until he surpassed almost every member vocally and you are all still bitter about it, the most critically acclaimed member by experts and the grammy panel. I wonder if when he does get the opportunity and you are suddenly struck with the realization that he's actually a good dancer, I wonder if you will shift the attention to something else, perhaps his looks? oh, right you already try to come for that, shady envious gremlins!

These ppl are obviously jealous and biased. They think having a reaction channel makes them professional to criticize a critically acclaimed artist.. tsk tsk... Losers are so clout hungry that they need to lie and spread hate against orhers to make their bias superior!!! So gross!!!! And these armys gives them attention and defend Jin with backhanded compliments which is just the fuel to the fire. Seokjin is overall an ace. Thats why these losers had to lie to diss him. Must be typical losers irl who can only cry over others' success.

Same when it comes to his vocals. If anything his vocals are super solid and u can even argue that he has the best voice in multiple cases.
I respect your opinions but I hope you give more credit to Jin when it comes to dancing. He have worked hard not only from his trainee days but up until now to be a better performer. People may focus on the dance line but I do believe that Jin, Yoongi and Namjoon's talent in dancing is underrated too. Me myself have been part of dance groups but they were way better than me because they worked harder than anyone else to be great performers.

SEOKJIN is a phenomenal dancer! He gets alot of compliments these days for his dancing skills

You know, there are members who I think can’t compare to Jin in some areas. But I would never diss them just to sound clever. Random putdowns are petty, and “Talk is cheap.” Having an opinion doesn’t give anyone a pass - none whatsoever - to reduce a world-class performer like Jin to nobodies like you or me.

Don’t disrespect Jin. He didn’t come from a dancing background. And he has improved so freaking much. NONE OF YALL can dance as good as him nor sing as good. So stfu and give respect and credit where it’s due.
Their concert tickets are reasonable for the greatest group in the world. The most expensive was between $200.00 - $450. Whatever the cost, it’s worth every dime , nickel and penny you pay for it. I have seen them twice in concert. It’s like nothing you ever experience. They truly give their fans a magical night in concerts.

One of their trainers said the other non-dancers(no dance background or any sort of experience) are the ones who improved a lot through the years of practicing...like you see this hard choreographies...if Jin and RM is a bad dancer...how the faq can they follow the dance lines movements in choreo's and how can they dance choreo's like ON, Idol & other harder BTS choreographies if they're bad at dancing??...

Jin looks so good when he dances. His long legs, his god like body, his expression (both body AND face). I prefer his style, it’s really clean and precise. He looks fcking amazing when he dances. The whole package. He oozes charisma. Show these guys the later dynamite stages where Jin kicked his leg up so high above his head whilst singing the high note. Let’s hear them comment on that!

Seokjin is so talented. He has a very good performance in singing, dancing, songwriting, MC and even acting. I love the way he is. He is the least pretentious and most sincere member of the team.
And he almost never made mistakes on stage, which has surpassed the performance of many members. A lot of Korean professional dance coaches praised his performance, and we all saw it.

This fandom has pushed dumb narratives, when Jin himself was a good dancer in debut, enjoyed it as well and said his specialty is dance in interviews. He rarely makes any mistakes on stage, one of the least actually. Has great body and dancing advantages (flexible, great stamina and high jumpes/strengths and disadvantages like anyone. He has great muscle memory and is very technical, learning a dance earlier like u Said won’t make u a bad dancer, it’s like leaning for a test some might even get better results. He didn’t just get randomly better, you just never payed him enough attention and I’m very sure never watched his fancams.

Jin graduated from Konkuk University with an acting degree. He had to participate in plays and musicals where he gained experience with dancing AND singing. The others have a few months and some years of experience too but Jin's been going to college since 2013. I don't know why people don't like bringing it up. Probably cause it don't fit their agendas. Imagine if we compared members stage presence based on how many years they went to school for acting lol. Jin would be at the very top. It's very biased.

That's an interesting conversation I also would've liked to join while It's true jin and rm are weak at dance compared to other BTS members but they are only weak if you compare them to other BTS members otherwise their dance level is WAY ABOVE NORMAL if you guys saw Dionysus and ON you get gist of how hard BTS dischoreographys are but they keep up with it and BTS dance line is like kpops one of top best dance line so if you compare jin and rm to jk, hobi and Jimin then the dance line will definitely overshadow them because the dance line is out of the world level also if you guys are taking requests I would like to request ddaeng by Bts rapline and BTS room live your friends gonna like them keep up the good work

Jin is an amazing dancer, he had no experience dancing back then but he is now a skilled and talented dancer. You can't just say that to him, he has worked so hard to get where he is now. If you watch how amazing he is in ON choreo, you'll see that he's world class. I love that you guys are always honest and i understand that you dont have any ill intentions, but the Jin comment, even to me who’s rarely offended, is a bit off putting. I first recognised BTS because of suga’s mixtape which i love. But i really became a fan of them after i did some research about their background and their dedication to their work, and Jin impressed me the most out of everyone, and him to me is a huge inspiration.
Imagine being in your 20s, being the oldest in the group, randomly being picked up and being thrown into a situation where your younger groupmates all have their own expertise and experience in either music or dance. He had zero experience in both. Imagine how much that would hurt your ego and confidence, how much pressure he had to endure, having to work 10 times harder than most of the members. Plus the hardships that BTS as a group had to endure in the industry, I think most people would’ve quit if they were in Jin’s position. And he made it. When i first watched BTS i never even considered that he had no background in dancing or singing. He worked so hard that he became superb in his performances and matched his fellow groupmates. His hardwork and dedication is what’s special about him and it is what we all should aspire to have. He’s a tough cookie and he deserves the respect.
