- In keeping with the season I decided to make some Rice Krispy treats in the shape of a pumpkin! I made these for me & my husband because we love them and we have no visiting grandchildren right now. Oh my word! These were sooo tasty. The Rolo Candy was different but still was good! I hope you will enjoy the sounds and sights of hearth and home. Some eating sounds at the end.

It's a fairly modern kitchen but I can work with the colors. But I don't love tile. It's ALL over. Even the floor. Not grumbling though. 😁 I am so fortunate to be here and have what I have. Really glad you could feel the country ambience. 🥰

Well, apparently there's a trick to it. The only thing I could think of was to cool the marshmallow mix down in the freezer for a few minutes. Usually when these are made, you just spread it out in a pan and there is no need for the mix to stay upright. Thank you so much, Katie! 🤗❤️❤️❤️

The cats are quite comfy and cozy nowadays. Not as much to entertain them as there are much fewer birds and critters to hunt. Not even mice 🐁 🤷🏻♀️

Rebecca! This video is so relaxing, especially the whispers and the butter 😂😂 I went hungry in a sec. These rice krispy things look like a snack from china! They remind me of something called 馬仔, or Sachima in English. 馬仔 means horsie if you translate it directly into English. Not horse, but horsie lol, bc of the 仔. If it's only 馬 it means horse. These pumpkin rice krispies look SOO appetizing and cute. Omg I wanna eat them 😂😂 I bet they taste awesome too bc you're so good at baking.

Anyone else stressing that one stick of butter is a 1/2 cup so 2 sticks is actually quadruple the amount of the recipe? 😂 That may be part of the reason they were falling apart on you initially! They turned out lovely though! And isn't it so interesting that West coast butter is so short and squat, while east coast is long and skinny? I prefer the shape of east coast so I love when I can find that shape out here in the west
