Did you load balance your reactors at all? If you go with just a straight manifold that thing's going to take years to fully saturate and you'll be running very inefficiently which will cause a lot of issues down the line into your plutonium set up too since you wont be producing enough uranium waste.
Hey there My plan was to stockpile the fuel rods in 1 or 2 industrial storage containers per row and when the time comes to turn the reactors on I just connect the storage containers up to the system. Anyways hope this helps
Hi, just some free advice, if you had named your video "My nuclear plant setup" or anything like that then people would click your video and find it interesting from the beginning till the end. But with your current title, people will click on it for a specific purpose: how do you get rid of your nuclear waste, and instead of getting right to the point and be presented an answer for that specific problem, they have to manually search a video with no timecodes and constant talking, which is less than ideal.
How much uranium is this setup using? I've been thinking about doing a nuclear setup that taps a normal node to the full 600 but I keep getting confused about how much uranium and plutonium waste that's going to produce and it's keeping me from pulling the trigger to try.
Hey there The whole system is using 1200 uranium/min which is making a total of 12 fuel rods per minute and that can run 60 power plants at 100% which will also produce 600 nuclear waste/min. If you want to make a system that uses 600 uranium/min then its pretty simple because its my system divided by 2. For example 600 uranium can make a total of 6 fuel rods which can run 30 power plants at 100% that will also produce 300 nuclear waste. A plutonium setup is really complex and too much for me to explain in one TH-cam comment. A website I use to help me do the math for factories and setups is called Satisfactory Tools.com. I think I've pieced together that it's 720 uranium waste a minute, making 6.4 plutonium fuel rods and burning the plutonium would create 64 plutonium waste so that I can make 32 ficsonium fuel rods. It's complicated for sure lol
