    A lot of you asked me questions about the apartment rental market in NYC with my last video and I made sure to record our apartment hunting journey for you once our lease was up and we started exploring again! I hope this video was informative! NYC is expensive but there's no place like it! Thank you for your patience as I uploaded this one. What video would you want to see next? ☺

    Nice! I'm not sure if you're born and raised in NYC but you should definitely look into moving more south like Flatlands Brooklyn. You both will get more for your money! It will be a little commute when heading out to the more popular areas, but it will be worth it in the long run.

      No subway in Flatlands, as opposed to Flatbush. It depends on your lifestyle. If you are a young single person who likes going out it is better to be in an area where you can walk to cafes, bars or restaurants rather than taking the bus or subway everytime you want to go out. Also the safety of Flatlands is a bit iffy for a single female. As a young person you may not have a lot of stuff, so having a bigger space isn’t always the first priority.

      Good point, both of these statements are true! Yeah I think if we’re looking to buy and consider starting a family we’ll start looking further out in Brooklyn but living closer to Manhattan is convenient for our jobs and to be close to our friends who live in the area 🤎 I also don’t have a car yet haha. thanks for watching!

      @@georgiasmith7615She not single. Also. She could live close to the B41 or B46. No one is partying every night, taking the bus every day to commute is ok and there's also the dollar van that no longer a dollar, yes! it depends on her lifestyle but realistically if you're trying to save money, moving farther away from the city and hangout less to reach your financial goal is definitely ok in my book.

    Good luck apartment hunting. May I ask, where are your glasses from? Model name, etc? They’re really cute

    Besides a home office, what else did you prioritize in your apartment search?

    • @BreannaInBrooklyn
      @BreannaInBrooklyn  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Room for guests to stay & possibly a second bathroom- but truly just having enough living space for a separate office and bedroom! And a cozy neighborhood that has a lot to do

    Just an address and day to move in are what I need
    Real Estate for apartments is frustrating

    The Carroll Gardens apt was lovely but those prices would exclude me. Your own apt is lovely. I look forward to seeing any changes you make. Yes, NYC is a vibe for sure. I moved to Europe 5 yrs ago and pay 500.00 two streets back from the sea, that's not a misprint 500.00 only. However, I'm older and have been missing family and my friends after all this time. The pandemic shifted the priorities for many of us didn't it? I am considering NYC which means $$$ and as a single person my budget will be smaller but I am considering NYC down as far as western MD. My daughter and her family are in New England and they get much more snow than NYC. My bff lives in Philly and friends are scatteredall along the 91/95 corridor. I considered doing a split but my senior dog could not do that every few months. I look forward to more videos. 🙌🏽♥️

      Wow I’m jealous of $500 in Europe by the sea, that’s an amazing opportunity! I would have left for that too 😂 I moved from the suburban DC area a few years ago and it’s a nice place to settle down with a few things to do and not as expensive as NYC. It’s also not far to take the train to. I’ve also heard great things about New England, it’s beautiful in the summer. I wish you the best of luck if you decide to move one day and thank you for watching!

    These prices hurt my soul but I looved seeing them as someone who lives in BK and dreams of having more space one day lol - I adore Carroll Gardens every time I'm there, but good to know I can never afford to live there. Loved this video as always!

      The prices are very painful 😭 touring all of the apartments and seeing recent pricing was a wake up call! Right, Carroll gardens is such a cute and cozy neighborhood!!!
