I am actually quite surprised someone who has been in the spotlight for so many years is so…awkward and unprepared for an interview/press conference like this. He absolutely should have been prepared and debriefed by his publicity people before embarrassing himself like this. His quirky attitude gets him far in the music world but he is totally out of his element as far as acting.
It’s because he’s not a “ real” actor, when he says he doesn’t know what he’s doing he’s telling the truth, he just has an insane PR team to the point that he is actually sought after in Hollywood despite having minimal credentials and sub-par acting skills
Lmao he's probably been instructed to act like this. I've read some of his fans defending him claim that he's been like that ever since he got famous. Fans back then ate it up calling him cute and charming and he stuck with it because he and his team thinks it still gets him points.
I'd buy an awkward kid struggling through interviews. Definitely not a grown man a good several years in the industry. It's pathetic how he thinks its still a good look for him.
Harry is a new "actor" and this is the first time he's been to Venice Film Festival and handled this type of press conference, make sense he was just so unprepared
@@Fl0k5ser he may be a new “actor” but he’s been in the spotlight now for over a decade so he certainly knows how to approach media and journalism, the way he conducted himself in this interview just showed a lack of respect and seemed as though he was dragged out of bed 5 minutes prior
@@123-.- I'm aware that he has been in the spotlight for a decade, I'm a fan of his music but this is like a big film festival, it's a bit different press conference than anything he has been in, different situation, different kinds of interviews something like that. And I can just tell that his team didn't train him well to handle this type of interviews especially in seeing how Chris Pine reacts to most of his answers. Like when he said "it feels like a movie" I was like "dude I love your music but it's no time to make a dumb joke at the world's biggest film festival"
Let's be honest, this whole attention that harry gets for being "cute" during interviews is completely stupid. All of these people are here for the movie, end. Let's not make it about something else that won't serve harry or anyone else. Ridiculous.

I agree and disagree with some of the comments. Please refrain from degrading a person just because they don't act professional or fluent in these interviews, and I'm not just talking about Harry. Don't judge people by just one video. Also, I do agree that he's not ready for the leading role yet. He could still use more acting lessons and experience since he haven't shown any notable outstanding performances to serve him one and also considering all the big names of actors he's working with. In addition, I also think he's disinterested in making or being part of this movie in general, reason why he don't put much effort in answering.

I think it's ok to make mistakes, nobody is perfect. I personally think the blame falls on the PR team of the movie, they should have trained him appropriately, that's all. Next time he'll be better prepared... It's not easy to transition between worlds..

When i was a little girl, i went with my mother to the market we stoped at the spot were they were selling fish. When no one was watching i crabbed one litle fish and put it fast in my pocket. When i was home i went to the lake and set it free. And for some how i was supprised the fish was dead…..
He might just be nervous. I can get like this sometimes in front of people. You just get tongue tied. Maybe interviews just arent his thing.
