Bro what are your thoughts on using the stock airbox with drop in KnN filter, removed resonators and the rubber elbow meeting upbto the stock airbox...and also modifying the snorkel to be more open and shorter?
So pretty much, if you run an air intake for your frs/brz, you should be scaling the maf ratio. It is in romraider if you have an open flash tablet. I’m not sure about using an ecutek system, but with headers and all the supporting mods I have, I need to tune for my intake to make sure the ratios are right! There are a few videos out on scaling your maf sensor
@@KeenanOKelley oh fasho 🫡 I have yet to buy an CAI tbh. Every time I think about it, I learn something new that discourages me. I don’t wanna have any issues since the car is my daily; I’d hate for something to happen to me the engine. Would you suggest just changing the inlet and the snorkel for better flow and keeping the OEM air box? or would I still need scaling for that? 😬
Thx man. I almost got my hands on the aFe intake kit. Luckily i found this video and you talked me out of it immediately lol.
can you link some videos of rescaling the MAF? if any are with OFT and/or perrin thats a bonus. cant seem to find any with our cars
Thanks for sharing. Any thoughts on Perrin vs Grimspeed?
Thanks for the info Keenan. I have a 2018 BRZ and I put in an RTD intake. Do you know anything about those intakes? Would I need to rescale?
It shouldn’t need to scale! Doesn’t hurt to check you fuel trims if you have a way to check it! If not, I wouldn’t worry about it
@@KeenanOKelley Thanks for replying brother.
What about a TRD AIR intake is it safe to use

So you have to take off the bumper for that one to install?
Yes
I’m new to these intakes so I got a question, what do you mean by rescale?
And what do you think about the Grimm speed intake?
