My father has always been horrible to me. Right from a very young kid, it was clear to me that he was not interested in being a dad. But I never could figure out which he hated more, being married to my mom or being a father to me. I think he must have hated it equally since he did not treat my mother any better than he treated me. I turned 17 a couple of months ago and just four weeks back, I lost my mother. It was not unexpected, she had been fighting with lung cancer for quite some time and she finally succumbed to it in the hospital four weeks back. She had been diagnosed three years ago, and since then, it felt like I had been holding my breath, and when she passed away, I think I finally let it all go.
A person can only control someone with money if they allow it. This means OPs father had a choice. To live his life how he wanted to or to lie to his parents. The choice was his.
Dude threatened to leave his teenage daughter homeless, alone and destitute and he is upset that she left him as an educated and employed adult without his parent's money.
FAFO
And the grandparents were worried op's mother was the golddigger...
Forget your father and the past live for the future and make your grandparents proud
He is a cheater and a liar.
22:09 he wanted to make everybody happy- is that why he threatened his daughter with no home and no money?
It is, because he's a narcissistic man-child. So if he is happy, everyone else must be too
Now we see why he treated mom the way he did.. Wasn’t so innocent
So then he should have dumped her and not keep her along ..and it still doesn't excuse him!
He married her AFTER the attempt to seduce the brother.
If this outlandish story is true (I don't want to be THAT person, but it really does sound extremely far-fetched), it's possible the two brothers made it up to make her look like the villain in the relationship. The father was clearly a lying, manipulative scumbag. Who's to say his brother wasn't the same way or that he didn't coerce/threaten/blackmail his brother into going along with it?

@@robertx8020 it was for his ungrateful ass daughter..
Despite the deliciousness of the schadenfreude in this story, it is pretty unrealistic. The idea that the grandparents would disinherit OP's father, invite OP to live with them, fully fund OP's college education, participate in the wedding theatrics, and agree to make OP the sole heir (what about the other son that OP's mom tried to hit on?) all in the span of a few days stretches credulity a bit too much for me.
I agree. This sounds like a fairytale.
I think a lot of these stories are a creative writing or AI. But I could listen to this channel read the dictionary or even technical manuals. 🎧🌽👂👍👍❤️🔥
This sounds like a disgruntled child's fantasy.
She didn't say that the grandparents were "fully funding" college; she said that she access to the college fund again. That sounds like the grandparents threatened the father with a law suit over it - you can't use money from a dedicated college fund for a non-education purpose, or for a person not on the account.
Edit: she later said that the uncle covered the rest of her college costs, so perhaps you are right.
Yeah no way ppl get disinherited because they are pieces of sh*t
Never happens in RL
YT isn't real either ..it's all in your head /s
So good ol’ dad thinks he deserves the inheritance because he so skilfully managed to maintain a life of lies & deceit for 18+ years without anyone catching on. He ‘won’ at tricking them and _dEsERvES_ the inheritance, because _he won!_ by golly! Yeah, let me know how that works out for ya, dad.
I really liked the scene in the background video of the family around the table. It made me cry. I miss those days very much. I feel so much for OP in the 1st story. 😢
Her father is shameless an very selfish person he should not get anything what so ever.
I actually disagree with you about him not getting anything. I think his parents should leave him exactly ONE DOLLAR in their will. That is an even bigger slap in the face than nothing at all.
I would attend the weddings and complain to the guests about how uncaring and disgusting her dad is
I could not imagine growing up without knowing my grandparents,I was blessed to have both sets until I was 26 and miss them so much. Life has not been the same since and did not care on what they left behind and would give up everything I have to get them back.
He's a bully. So there is no changing him.
Why did he call his wedding off if he wanted to marry this girl so bad?
I bet the mother only protected her so that the father doesn't do anything rash and her plans won't be ruined
No one is entitled to an inherentance from still living people, they get to use their money as they see fit
Why does op believe his mother hit on his uncle? Why wouldn't he assume uncle was as big a liar as his father? Or wonder if maybe uncle is one of those loser guys who thinks she wants him because she laughed at his jokes? Why wouldn't op even question this attack of his mother's character? 🤷♀️
Because the uncle was the golden child?
Along with lies. Mistreating his wife and child. Then harsh to his child after the mother passed. So his treatment of the child, he owes her that since he would leave her without her mother's money for college. But he didn't care.
Thanks for not cutting off the end of story with the ads
Guess the apple didnt fall far from the tree with OP.
Hell no! For your father to try to 'control' you like he claims his parents did him. I say screw him. He brought it on himself for treating your feelings and your mother's death so crassly. Now he gets a taste of his own medicine. Now he can live how he wants since you aren't there.
I said he had a double life there for a little bit dude had a triple life. He had the life that he told his parents. The life with his wife and husband child. And the last one is the life he had with his girlfriend that he had that one for two years. Then he went down to two lives. He was living, and now suddenly that bubble got busted and he just has one miserable life. Talking about how he lost his wife when he was cheating on her for two years. What a jerk.
What exactly did the Dad do to her again??
Hehe. You saw that, eh?
"God damn it, I'm an asshole who's only in it for money - WHY WON'T ANYONE LET ME BE ME AND GET ALL THE MONEY?!?!? WAAA-AAA-AH!"
Karma at its best. 😂😂😂😂😂
22:43)More fiction from outside of the US. There is no such thing as a rightful heir or heiress here. You get only what was WILLED. Inheritance was used in place of estate.
Where is 'here' as there is no such thing as an 'universal European law'
Have you even been outside the US?
@@robertx8020 he said the US. And seeing as most of these skits are written in China then that would be the assumption.
@@robertx8020 3 times to Germany. 2 times to Viet Nam, Japan and Australia. 1 time to Korea, to Holland and to Ireland.
@@leondillon8723 But is seems that you didn't learn about the law when you were there ? Because at least 2 of those countries have such a law
Silly story. Who believe this fiction?
Wow, the daughter was certainly all about HERSELF! Not thinking about the fact that her father gave up his parents and his brother to be there for her mother (even though Mother was possibly not the best choice). She was lucky he stayed and financially supported his wife and child. He stepped up when there was an unplanned pregnancy. If your mother was actually the type of person his family claimed she was, he might not even be your father. Yes, the two weeks after the death of his wife was quite TACKY and he really should have waited, however, he had already moved on. You "finally have the family I deserve," to me you sound a bit spoiled and self entitled. Give your dad some credit,
He deserves nothing
Bull sh*t. He was a horrible father and husband. He was abusive and mean. HE only cared about what HE wanted. He was cheating for a while year. Then, 10 minutes after she died, he's getting married and doesn't care about his child feelings. Hey mother died and he pretty much told her to get over it. This is the man you choose to back?
Op did her daddy dirty He was a good man just confused 🫤
He was in no way a good man. He had been cheating on OPs mother. While his wife was sick, he was fucking someone else. He is a selfish jerk.
