She really does. That or the torps the Rodney got to use in the Battle of the Denmark Strait. If she had them, she deserves them. For 375k XP, we deserve that.

I got the Nelson about 2 months ago and have learned a few things. 1. Great Guns, at least tier 8, very accurate and strong. 2. Poor Hull, this ship can be citadeled from any direction with a gun size over 305mm. 3. No speed and slow turning So if you intend to take this thing into PVP battles you will have to hide behind an island and snipe. Even the Colorado is a better ship.
Short review: She will get wrecked by AP and HE, push in and you die. This is a "nose in" BB for that reason. They way to play her successfully is to play safer at first, picking off cruisers and setting fire to everything (50%+ fire chance). Then in the later half start pushing and finishing the enemies off. Grade = 7/10. Fun to play but it might be better to save up for a Missouri/Musashi, since they will make you a lot more credits.
SirPlotALot cit does have excellent armour, it is the placement and shape that are questionable. I'm more worried about them calling HMS Nelson 'Flambouyant'

Historical wise, there are some errors. 0:33 - Design O3 was a direct successor of the G3 & the N3 of which both of them don't have any main turrets placed on the stern. I consider them as a successor due to the Washington Naval Treaty. Had it not been for it, O3 won't be a worthy successor. But the point here is that the naval treaty wasn't the one that caused the british designers to go with this unique design. It was the designs of the G3 & the N3 themselves. 1:02 - The all-fore turret design? It wasn't just proven by the British, the French themselves tested this as well so don't put all credit just on Nelson-classes. Effective? Sure but you'll have to suffer some minor damage from your own guns. Reasonable? If it really was, they would've continued with this as their tradition, and the KGV & Lion-classes would've inherited this configuration as well. Even the French stopped at Jean Bart. Gascogne was an upscaled Deutschland-class whilst the successor to Richelieu-class never had an all-fore turret configuration anymore.

One day I was playing some random battles and I encountered a Nelson. I fired a full AP salvo from my New Mexico and not a single shell penetrated her. This continued for a couple of salvos until one single shell hit it. And the came a destroyer and sunk Nelson. I did just 2k damage to that ship

What allies? There are no allies in the game, just rivals in farming, and players who get penalty instead of reward for shooting at u, they are not allies! And I have honor (and spine), so I don't set a BB fire with another BB's main gun, unless it forces me (he's using HE on me).

The Nelson is a solid ship but fires are not a huge threat to her. The real threat to her are torpedoes and AP shells.
