My grandfather used to work in machinery and always had ball bearings around. He used to take two and put them on a sheet of cardboard, and use a magnet underneath to make them dance with each other, to my delight - I'd ask him to do it all the time, it was so cool and silly to me. This takes me back. Thanks Tim!
After I watched this video, I ordered a five-pack of big ball bearings off Amazon. I have absolutely no use for ball bearings, but they're just so darned pleasing to look at and play with.

I think you should check out the Galton Board. It's quite interesting and it's used to demonstrate statistics. You drop the beads and it forms a bell curve.

My grandfather owned a few of those small dexterity toys similar to your wine one. I can still remember the exact feeling of the clear plastic dome and cardboard backing. Such a simple concept. Get a ball in a hole. Hours of entertainment. So much more wholesome than the supercomputer in my hands a decade later.

Just to clarify, if I understood that correctly, but the magnetic force does nothing for your circulation. The iron (or anything else) in your blood is not in the correct elemental state to be magnetic, which is fortunate as otherwise our vessels would quickly clog if not rupture during MRI scans or when otherwise handling strong magnets.

They are not ball bearings. Ball bearings are mechanisms that reduce friction for rotating shafts. Those are bearing balls. Ball bearings contain bearing balls.
