Trains at Crewe - Midland Pullman HST, Intercity Class 90 and MORE!!!

A Saturday special from Crewe, where we saw the first charter workings of Loco Services newly refurbished sets, first of all 90002 "Wolf of Badenoch" hauls a rake of mk3 coaches and Mk3 DVT 82139 in the beautiful Intercity livery between London and Glasgow.
Later on, and possibly the star of the show for some, was a HST set, re-liveried into the classic "Midland Pullman" blue, working its first charter service on a round trip from London St Pancras to Crewe and back.
In the mix, West Coast Railways also had a Northern Belle set on railtour duty, plus a plentiful mix of other units.

What I think is a really stupid idea with our rail system is if I have a return ticket to London, that ticket only entitles me to travel on a certain train. In other words I cannot travel one direction on an Avanti West Coast and return on a Cross Country or London North Western service. When it was British Railways you could. Madness I say.

great video. the blue pullman is the star of the show ! the clown of the show is the stupid announcer telling everyone to stand one to stand back,dont treat us like fools you oaf, we love the class 90 in intercity colours looks great
