Snowy Winters Day at Crewe Station, WCML | 12/12/17

Just over an hour of trainspotting at Crewe station during a cold snowy December Afternoon on Tuesday 12th 2017.
To be honest not much disruption despite the wintery weather, most services operating with minor delays. Good variety of traction featured in this video. Check out the class 08 doing some shunting around the yard at the back of the station, lots of clag as it moves some of the frozen loco's around. Also featured are 2x Network Rail class 97's seen arriving from Shrewsbury & departing back out towards Derby, still covered in snow & ice.
After about 80 minutes of filming I was well & truly done. It was freezing, so called it a day.
INCLUDES: Virgin Pendolino's & Voyagers, London North Western 350's, East Midlands Trains 153's, Arriva Trains Wales 175's & 150, Royal Mail 325 and the Network Rail 97's & class 08 shunting.

Great video as always. Its a shame that at 09.06 we have 2 DMU'scoupled together going all the way to London under the wires - surely these 2 routes are suitable for bi-modes.

God, that's another peculiarly irritating automated voice. "Platform five for the..." Sounds like chirpy auto-announcer ought to be announcing Mr Tumble on CBeebies.
