Hello Samantha, just want to give you a big hug. I was 51 when I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer; surgery, rads & meds - so far so good.

Wow, I knew there was a lot to that process, but that much poking, prodding, and DAILY visits to the center, yikes!!! I absolutely do not do well with needles (or anything medical clinic/hospital related in general) so it's good to know I didn't waste time considering that option--plus after my complete hysterectomy, I found out my ovaries were unhealthy so it might not have been an option for me anyway, or that it would have been covered by my insurance. I'm currently a little over a month post endometrial cancer surgery, age 33, also "too young for my type of cancer".

Yeah it’s a really rough process. I’m glad you are happy with the choice you made! Hope you are doing well recovering from your surgery 😊

I've always wondered, lets say u decide not to use the eggs what do they do with them? I'm sorry if it's a dumb question😔

This is a great question! Basically there are 3 options. You can either get rid of them, donate them to someone else, or let them be used for research
