I used to put this card in my decks at league when I was a kid and didn't know it was a bad card. Good times.
I really appreciated this card’s inclusion on celebrations because it taught me about the combo with fossil omanyte’s clairvoyance ability! Marnie who?
Imposter Prof Oak was supposed to be the Challenge at the end of Mt Silver but they decided on Red due to obvious popularity and his battling skillset isn't even matched by Oak...he'd defeat Oak 10x over. Thus....the final battle being with Red is born. Hope I cleared up the foggy story :)! Remember....you can't capture it on an empty stomach 😅

I think it would’ve been a nice addition to mention if this card was ever used in tournaments, and just a brief overview of what decks and why

@@CeliosNetwork that’s what I figured, like this and Here Comes Team Rocket I don’t think we’re used at all, from what i remember i think I vaguely remember some sort of Rocket’s deck that was trying to focus on disruption during Rocket-on but i don’t even think that deck was good or played

this guy looks a ton like the professor oak from Pokemon HeartGold
Because it was a cool and kind of the first ever disruption card. But quite not as good as Imposter Oak's Revenge from the Team Rocket expansion.

hey Luke I like to write articles on ptcg any place I can post them for the community to read
What I want to know is how this card would be good to use. Even if the rival has more than 7 cards, which is almost impossible, this would give him the chance of getting more useful cards. Then? Oh, to make the rival to have no cards on his library. But using 4 cards of this only take 28 cards and only if the rival has 0 in their hand. I dont think its so good. If he uses lots of Profesor Oak and Bill, then its 28+4*7+4*2 which is 28+28+8 which is 64, thats good, but the rival may easily see that youre going to make him lose cards, if you only use attacks to stall. Even with Lass I dont think its good. I cant believe how bad is this card... They included it on the GBC game, which its the only one I care, but even the rivals dont use it, as far I saw. Why the hell did they include this card? I understand Imanuli or whatever, but this... I cant believe.
