Visual and Audio Clarity depend on a lot of reasons like Quality of Projection , Support of DCP, Speakers equipped, Quality of Screens, Quality of 3D technology used, Brightness of the Projector, regular service and calibration etc A good experience happens when the Screen is a Silver Screen, Has a good 3D depth technology, a Laser Projection, surround and over head speakers that are well calibred. Watching a movie with an Active 3D glass and technology connected alongside a high lumens capable projector can create more depth and overcome brightness issues for a 3D movie. IMAX with Laser, GT (Dual Laser) and Dolby Cinema with Dolby 3D etc are designed to achieve High Brightness in 3D movies. First go watch a 3D movie in IMAX with Laser then you will understand what I'm saying. P.S. Nolan has his point of view and I have mine. Nolan just loves 2D movies and 6 channel IMAX 5.1 Audio whereas I like 3D movies and prefer 12 channel audio. Some people like watching movies in Screen X, 4DX or prefer Dolby full Atmos. Just coz I love him as a director or his works doesn't mean I should have the same taste as his movie, food, color or sound likings.

I guess you didn’t know about the fact not all IMAX are 1.43:1 or 1.90:1 movies. Gladiator is a Scope ratio (2.39:1) movie. It was not shot or rendered in FLAT Ratio (1.90:1) so even at PLF Like IMAX with FLAT Screens, you will have letter boxing (Top and Bottom Black Bars) Joker Fole a Duex had only expanded aspect ratio in the 1st few mins, problem is Flase marketing and lack of proper informations. Even before the wide aspect ratios were only used in some part of the movies (Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy,Mission Impossible) unlike today where a whole movie is shot in FLAT ratio. (Dune 1 & 2, Alien Romulus) Avatar projected in 1.78 : 1 & Avatar Way of Water in 1.85 : 1 are an expanded aspect ratio movies that was shot using Cine Alta and Shown at IMAX in those respective Ratios. Visual and Audio Clarity depend on a lot of reasons like Quality of Projection , Support of DCP, Speakers equipped, Quality of Screens, Quality of 3D technology used, Brightness of the Projector, regular service and calibration etc
A good experience happens when the Screen is a Silver Screen, Has a good 3D depth technology, a Laser Projection, surround and over head speakers that are well calibred. JB would have had it better compared to PAN.
I do not know the theatre specs of both the theatres correctly. If I knew it I can easily explain why you had a better experience at JB.

I strongly Disagree, The moment you said undersaturated , low brightness i understood you have clearly not seen good 3D movie at good theatres for sure, else you would not have said this ! I am sure you have not experience a 70mm IMAX or HDR movie either too... I have experienced it all ,so kindly Experience a 3D movie at IMAX with Laser theatre or Theatre with Dual Laser setup with Dolby 3D or RealD 3D Technology like th-cam.com/video/G_s93301qQ8/w-d-xo.html or th-cam.com/video/5jviiKoeh6Q/w-d-xo.html then you will understand what why i disagree

@FRKVlogsByAnupaNikhil I haven't seen this. But ee velya paragraph nu simple aayi answer parayam, 3D kananam enkil polarised glass vekkanam and that will blockout the amount of light which decrease the brightness also it will ruine the colorgrade .... But if u didn't felt it then u must have a unique vision 🙏🫠. Even Nolan hates this 3D gimmick🥴

It was not shot or rendered in FLAT Ratio (1.90:1) so even at PLF Like IMAX with FLAT Screens, you will have letter boxing (Top and Bottom Black Bars)
Joker Fole a Duex had only expanded aspect ratio in the 1st few mins, problem is Flase marketing and lack of proper informations.
Even before the wide aspect ratios were only used in some part of the movies (Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy,Mission Impossible) unlike today where a whole movie is shot in FLAT ratio. (Dune 1 & 2, Alien Romulus)
Avatar projected in 1.78 : 1 & Avatar Way of Water in 1.85 : 1 are an expanded aspect ratio movies that was shot using Cine Alta and Shown at IMAX in those respective Ratios. (Even they had Letter boxing in IMAX because IMAX Screen is 1.43 or 1.90:1)
