    Hats off to your cameraman/woman. You never seem to interact with them, but thought I'd give them a shout out, they are good with the camera 📸👍

      That's because I do all of the filming - or rather the cameras do it by themselves as I fish! I just move them around a lot and spend a lot of time editing, so it looks like there is a camera crew. Thanks for watching.

    loverly bit of summer scratching, good angling, so nice to watch. A very peaceful mark and a few fish deservedly found, many thanks.

    Great last session Rods and no moving up and down with all your tackle with the tide.
    Cant believe how much the Bass are thriving all over the country right now.
    Stay safe and keep on sharing all these top class videos.

      Thanks again @gazellis1961 👍 Yes - plenty of bass in the Thames; just need to sort out the better ones from the schoolies - autumn may be better.

      Thanks and welcome - good luck. You may wish to consider trying fishing from piers in your first few outings - its often easier to catch from them than the shore.

    Hi Mick. Not sure which one is worse...eels or weed! On balance it would have to be weed...oftentimes it takes simply ages to clear it off, wasting valuable fishing time and taking your attention away from a second rod if if you're fishing two.. Thinking about it, eels and weed together is is absolutely the worst! Shame the fish weren't too co-operative in the first 3 sessions but the fourth session was pretty good. Looking forward to your next offering. Keep safe and healthy. Cheers. Ken

    • @rodsangleuk6283
      @rodsangleuk6283  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks again Ken. Yes - eels can be a pain and wiping their slime off your hooklengths isn't much fun either, but I do prefer catching them to weed!

  • @markosborne9726

    Great session there. Funny as i was looking at the opposite side only a couple days ago right by the pylon. Only problem there is its a long walk to get there from either side. Just out of interest do you think the area you fished would be any good using lures. Im getting more and more into lure fishing and looking for local areas to take some lures swimming.
    Well done with the bass.

    • @rodsangleuk6283
      @rodsangleuk6283  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes - I'm keen on fishing Swanscombe Peninsular, but the walk is putting me of somewhat! I think the water's too coloured for lure fishing; but someone might prove me wrong!

    • @markosborne9726
      @markosborne9726 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah i thought the water would be a bit murky. I did look at the Medway last weekend at cuxton and it was like oxtail soup. When i was a kid i used to fish the other side of the Thames at the old Empire paper mills pier. We used to cycle there after stopping of in Swanscombe high street to pick up a pint of shrimps for bait from the local fish shop. Its all new posh housing down there now with nowhere to park. Do you ever get up the Medway by the way?

    Whats the advantage of the boom rigs 🤔 Im sure there must be a good reason but they look a bit 1950s (which is why I use Them sometimes, retro rigs and All that)

    • @rodsangleuk6283

      Good for nailing a bait to the bottom - which what you need to do for soles. Also very good for bite registration. Thanks for watching.
