I absolutely love your style and your personality. I’m from Germany and I think the girls from UK have the more femininen style. I really love that you’re on TH-cam throw you I wear more femininen style and I feel pretty well. Without you I never felt comfortable wear a skirt or a dress. Now I’m confined and get compliments for my look.

My favourite most worn clothes purchase has to be a boiled wool Chanel style cardigan jacket. It’s worn thin over the elbows after 18 years but I still wear it at home for chilly evenings. I wish I could find a replacement but it has such a lot of good memories attached nothing could really replace it.
I love my silk scarves. And my earrings & purses. They bring joy when I wear them and as you say “elevate” the look.
I loved & wore turtleneck (roll neck) sweaters when I was young but as I aged (I am 62) I moved to V neck pullover sweaters in merino & cashmere. The open neck I fill with scarves or a blouse peeking out. It’s a slimmer line on a larger bust but allows for hot flashes to come & go easily. Something that enters into clothing choice as we mature. 😜
Kamloops Cruise Maybe you could find a delicate sort of elbow patch that might actually make your cardigan jacket wearable again? I absolutely love vintage and would go to many lengths to save an item that I truly love. Just an idea. Stay warm!

Couldn’t agree with you more about keeping expensive pieces for special occasions. It’s such a colossal waste of money to buy something beautiful so it sits in the wardrobe. Invest in everyday clothes for every day! I also agree about investing in accessories. Shoes and bags continue to fit no matter what your weight does!

I love watching this young lady. I have a great deal of black and white in my wardrobe and I simply love that she displays all those beautiful neutral lights in her background. Love the light neutrals!! It can be difficult for me to shop the lighter shades and she offers excellent advice.

One of my favorite things is an Hermès silk scarf. You can use it in so many ways one of my favorite ways is wearing it in belt loops as a belt- it is very colorful and I’m so glad I bought it. I like all of your top favorites and my favorite of yours is a tie between the bracelet and the Chloe bag😊
I love this video! I really like the videos where you give background and context to all the pieces over the ones where it's just kind of a list of stuff and where to get it.
I hate most "essentials" videos/articles/etc because they never feel applicable. I think everyone's essentials are different, whereas you do a better job of explaining why these are essentials to you. Almost none of my personal essentials were mentioned here and I love this video. It is much more interesting to learn more about one's style and why they are essential to one's style over simply being told to buy something, which is why I hate those 1-2 page magazine spreads that are just like "you NEED to buy these essentials. You're insane for not owning them!" I don't feel that weird pressure from this video. I don't feel like I'm being told I'm wrong for not having things that are essential to another person's style but not to mine :)

I so enjoy your videos. For my timeless items, I have a black patent structured bag and a pair of black patent ankle boots with a pointed toe and 3 inch heel. Both items elevate any outfit, both were expensive but I have had them and worn them for many many years. Investing in high quality classically styled items is always worth the money.

two of my best purchases ever have to be my cream merino wool roll neck which just makes other things so easy to wear i don't know what i did without it, and a denim a line skirt (almost identical to your reiss suede skirt without pockets) from h&m that cost me £20 three years ago and i can honestly say on average i probably wear it once a week, it just goes with everything and fits my style so well, well worth the 20 quid! loved this video josie!

Thank you for these lovely vids, I like it so much listening how passionate you talk about these pieces you love :-) I could never bring myself to fork out some of these price tags though, especially because I have seen how most of my 'cheap' pieces still last me for several seasons (I do treat them with my utmost care though) and after a while I would like something more updated anyway ...
