The situation, in the UK but all over the world as well, is difficult. Even middle class professionals have a hard time buying a house. Younger people feel that they will be trapped in working hard to achieve the basics. Any TH-camr displaying wealth needs to be open minded to the fact that their content will be considered aggravating by many. It is not just “idiots”, these are people who might be having a hard time making it to the end of the month, after getting degrees and management positions. Of course they will be wondering if it is inherited wealth, and honestly I do not see anything wrong with inherited wealth, not sure why that would be an insult. The piece of advice that I would give to influencers showing off wealth (or potential wealth, inherited or not) to sell products is not to lose track with the real world. It is an attitude that might backlash.

Oh, anybody is free to express their opinion. An insult, “idiot” or “stupid” defines the person who blabbers it out and not the receiver. Therefore, I guess I would be fine 😉
People are free to say what they want, of course, but just because you are of a lower socioeconomic class than someone else doesn’t excuse you from being called out when you put out negativity to someone who didn’t do anything wrong. Now of course, some are really out of touch and that warrants criticism. But if someone is just out using their money and going on vacations that you can’t afford, that’s not a good reason for leaving negative comments.
Well, when somebody shares content on social media, it opens up to criticism. Showing a specific lifestyle is not a mere sharing of one’s life in many cases, but a means to an end: sales. A persona is created, to appeal to a target audience. If the platform is not the right one, because of the specific public in it, people might get irked.
Another quick note: it is quite irking to affirm that you “manifest your own luck”… and this is any channel.

Finally! A real “come shopping with me at Bicester Village” where Josie actually buys something hahaha Contradictory to other comments, I actually like watching this kind of vlogs. Not to make my life miserable because these people can afford this luxe life, rather to inspire me to work harder! From time to time, I try to buy the things that she use or endorse on her channel. I mean dont you just feel accomplished when you can afford any of those? I feel good about it. Even if it’s a dress from H&M. I think it is because some influencers do share their back story and how they got on the property market and worked their way up and people do find it interesting and inspiring. I believe wealth is complicated - who knows how much people have on mortgages/leases/cards etc? I think you cannot judge a book by its cover and we should just enjoy what Josie chooses to share. Josie, I chose the Audrey dress from Freddy's latest collection also, as well as the Darcy, like you, from the last! Freddy actually used a picture of me in the Penelope dress twice in ads. I am probably the oldest "Flossy Girl" at age 57 and plan to wear the Audrey dress for my 58th birthday this month. It should arrive soon and will be my 9th Flossy by Freddy dress!!! I’m dying with you at these price tags Josie 😭. What dystopian world do we live in that someone would charge 2,000 for a cashmere shirt??? The fashion market is a joke. Yes the fabric and the craftsmanship are better and you know they have better work ethics than say Boohoo, but how much money do the actual craftsman make one wonders. The fashion market is taking us for a ride. Just look at all the store fronts with 50% off because it’s what, one or two seasons old? My advice is don’t buy fast fashion, wait for the after Xmas sales or other major sales ( start at 75% off) and snag an N Peal London cashmere sweater for $120 reduced from $500 like I did. Then guard it with your life until you build a reasonable capsule collection. Don’t mind the TikTok haters. I feel like it’s the Wild Wild West over there. You’re probably arguing with some teenager who is fighting sleep and acne. 🌸🫶🏻

Lovely tips on how to assemble a bouquet. I will try them. I love Erborian too. I have delicate skin and find it so gentle on the face and the natural look. Do they have body products? I only found face products. Bayleaf use - I love it with stewed apples, curries, red and white pasta sauces. I even added it to soups. Don't mind negative comments - you're such a wonderful person on the outside and inside. I enjoy your vlogs.
