After having to grit my teeth throughout wotc‘a infinity war fanfic and all the other random stuff in between, Eldraine and especially Ixalan was a rejuvenating experience. There isn’t a single thing that displeases me from this set, not even the bizarre 4 part versions of descend.
The Dire Flail / Blunderbluss is an absolutely wild card. I wouldn't be surprised if you do actually flip it, I know Cube is different, but that card has been nuts when flipped in Limited.
The only complaints I’ve seen for this set are: the set symbol is actual ass due to being hard to tell rarity, and that having multiple mechanics that are all named after variations of “descend”
@@Tristan-2016 I'd add to that, I think Craft is awful. Might just be me but I find it so hard in the draft to remember what crafts with what. It's also so weird it works in the graveyard and on the field. Definitely an overly complicated set I think.
Really up close, it’s honestly looks fine and really pretty and detailed but once shrunken down; it’s a lost cause. And the lines just makes it so hard to see what the actual color rarity it has.
I could read the set symbols fine, but oh my gnon they have to stop making so many fucking commander decks with different symbols because the shield+whatever form has been wrung dry. Also, you are right about bonehoard dracosaur's flaw. Timmy kindred collision is only cool in simic and literal teamup cards

Thanks, guys, for continuing to carry the cube torch!

I totally agree, the set symbol is complete ass on this set.

@@me4pie I think it would have been better to have craft be artifacts only, but as a mechanic itself I think it works fine

Im so annoyed that there is a dragon! It was implied in the first ixalan that dragons werwnt even a concept on the plane until angrath showed up
Bold talk complaining about demons from the Tzeentch player.
