- Turok 2 Seeds of Evil is a classic that I never managed to complete back in the N64 days and now after over 20 years later, it's about time that I tackled what this game is really about.
If you never played an old-school fps from the 90's , let's just say that in many ways, they were truly something else.
If you like what you see and want me to continue making more Platinum content, stay tune for more. Thank you all so much and may peace be with you.
Fun fact: this video was made just in time for my birthday.
As kids, we were only able to defeat the game with cheats
I couldn't even beat it with cheats as a kid!
There is a free co-op mod for turok 2 on PC, managed to beat it with four of my friends and it was a great time. I think we lost 25 lives on the final level out of the 40 we had saved up, all them traps and final boss fight were intense.
As a kid, i never used cheats, but i did rent the game so unfortunately i only got as far as the ant level, which to my suprise was one level away from the last. Not bad honestly
Turkey 1 & 2 were 2 of the best games ever for sure. I revisit them on a regular basis.
If you Keep making videos of this quality, you’ll end up having a blast on TH-cam no doubt. Thanks for an entertaining watch!
Its doable until you get to lair of the blind ones, good luck navigating it with out cheating.
This a great breakdown/review of Turok 2! It's also nice to see that I wasn't the only one who found this sequel so frustrating to play when it came to trying to finish objectives, finding the hidden feathers and Keys that are needed to play the final stage. Much like you, I also could never beat the original version of Turok 2 back in the day which resulted in my wondering aimless because as a kid I could never figure out the large level map and trying to understand what/where I was suppose to do in order to complete the first stage.
Never the less, Turok 2 is a fantastic improvement and sequel that is deserving of the admiration and challenge that this classic offers, both to classic and modern gamers.
Cool video bro i just finished the game a few days ago and it felt pretty good
Yo lo termine con todos los logros ya :3
“And it didnt disappoint” but turok 3 sure did
I'm still amazed that I ever got to level 5. But yeah, I never completed the game! 😆
I was just jamming this again recently on hard core, and was making some good progress until I hit a glitch in lair of the blind ones involving a cave key rendering the game unbeatable. Make sure you have a save state at the beginning of the level, or risk suffering the same fate.
That's crazy. I really did not know that. Usually when I play a game, I go about it as if it's first time until I run into a section where I get super confuse and have no choice but to look it up lol.
@@OGKen95 that's why I'm here! I was going crazy looking for a key that no longer existed in my game. I now have to start completely over if I want to bother with that achievement.
you can zoom out of the map, to see it more clearly
it's really easy, once you get used to it, areas you haven't visited yet, don't show up, so sooner or later, you'll find everything.
Fun video thank you TH-cam algorithm
I remember shooting those birds for fun as a kid. Then i noticed a door was open that wasnt before. I swear i was so confused until i later repeated the same thing and realised that this game was going to have similar gimics ive seen in 007. Which meant i was definitely paying attention to everything. It made it easier. I was the guy that couldnt neat 007 on 00agent not because i coundt beat every level with ease but because i was literally stuck on the train level. I didnt know how to get out of the train at the end. And once i figured it out, now it was a challenge to get the chick to not die and get out fast enough without dying. Both were annoying and outside of my own control. Hated it.
Adon actually isn’t an alien, she’s a hologram, basically the original Cortana
Try GTFO, that game is the most difficult I have played.
the original level designs where alot more maze like
the "i am turok trophy" is whats stopping me from completing it.....
you can do it!! it's not impossible.
Holy. I beat this at 12 years old.... Oh my god... They implemented hand hold in this game? haha
you're so cool
You kinda sound like you're talking while gritting your teeth lol
@@whiskeyjim9549 you can blame the crisp audio quality of the microphone for that. I might have to find a new one that compliments my voice better lol.
Great game. Great presentation. I've been putting off this achievement and you definitely found out why hahaha I'm gonna have to just get it done I guess 😎
Glad to see you're still making videos, man! Great stuff!
Thank you bro! man, I haven't heard from you in awhile and I'm glad you're doing well.
I didn't expect this quality TBH, but I'm glad that YT recommend this to me!
Great vid 🙏🔥
I just play through the first one right now with the new switch N64 M expansion
Odd that Turok was originally a comic book
Great video! Turok 1 and 3 are also pretty good!
I did manage to beat this on the N64 back in the day, but not without a lot of walkthroughs and aimless wandering. I need to give the remaster a shot and see how it holds up.
I could never have done it back in the day without driving myself crazy lol. The remaster does make it a little easier to some extent, but it's still the same game, maintaining those crazy level design
