    Does the ball die when it hits the rim or does it bounce off like a solid rim would? Seems like the rim is weak and bouncy.

    Thanks for the review! Im thinking about buying a hoop, did you order this online and if yes, does it ship to the U.K?

      I got mine at Walmart, but you can get it through Amazon too.

    Do you fine it good to be used for a good while

      I think a lot of it depends on where you keep it. The more it's exposed to the weather, the shorter the life. In my shed it will last for years without a problem, still looks like new.

    Would it be okay to do dunks on, but not hang on the rim

    • @masterbasketball6233
      @masterbasketball6233  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not really made to be dunking on. It's built to be portable and handle shots, not rougher things. You'll need a permanent goal attached to the ground or wall for dunking.

      @AdioAurel 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have a similar hoop from Lifetime (model 90000) and I dunk on it with no problem. While dunking you can pull down the rim a bit and let go (no hanging of course), I mean there's a reason why the rim has springs underneath.

      @@AdioAurel can you pass ball back to yourself off the backboard on lifetime 90000?

    • @AdioAurel
      @AdioAurel 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it's possible, but because the backboard is not that large, it's harder to do

  • @AdioAurel
    @AdioAurel 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I assume by drilling more holes you could add more height positions.
    In my opinion the hoop should already come with more out of the box.

    • @masterbasketball6233
      @masterbasketball6233  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, and 10 out of the box, that should be enough for most people.

    • @AdioAurel
      @AdioAurel 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      True, but some want to also use it for seeing results with their dunking progression. My hoop is a bit different, but has the same height settings, I might add two more between 9.5 and 10.

    I got the same thing but I didn't get a sticker with mine for adjusting part did you buy it separately

    • @masterbasketball6233
      @masterbasketball6233  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine came with the sticker. The notches are pretty easy to tell though, you could just measure and then mark it.

    Where can you get a replacement rim for this lifetime hoop 90491?

    • @masterbasketball6233
      @masterbasketball6233  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that you'd have to call the company for an exact match. I would think though that it might have standard bolt holes so a standard rim might work.

    Is this worth buying over paying extra for a glass backboard type of goal?

    • @gameroominfo7489
      @gameroominfo7489 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It really depends on your budget and area you have to work with. Without question, the glass is going to be better. But glass is a lot heavier and requires a lot more bracing, while this is a lot cheaper and can be moved pretty easily if needed.

    Was it easy to assemble it ?

    • @masterbasketball6233
      @masterbasketball6233  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it was pretty easy to assemble. Hardest part is that when first setup if nothing is on the back it will try and tip over.

    Can you hang on the rim ?

    • @masterbasketball6233
      @masterbasketball6233  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't on this model. The backboard is not glass and the base isn't anchored into the ground so you'd likely either tip the goal over or break the rim off.

    Does it shake when u hit the backboard?

    • @masterbasketball6233

      Yes, there is some shake. I think almost all goals that use a base like this have some shake.

  • @LJ-hn6oz

    Bro it’s shaking because you have a saw gun on it

    • @masterbasketball6233
      @masterbasketball6233  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      A saw gun? Like off of Gears of War that shoots saw blades? Sadly, it's just a regular nail gun, lol. But it's really heavy and I move that goal around my shop from time to time.

    • @LJ-hn6oz
      @LJ-hn6oz 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you add water or sand it’s a little better because it distributes the weight better and keeps it on the ground still slight shake on Mike but that always happens. Long as the base is good and the rim is tight it’s pretty solid man honestly

    • @masterbasketball6233
      @masterbasketball6233  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LJ-hn6oz Yeah, sand/water would be better but makes it way harder to move.
