@@jacobsills8257 Safariland eats very well . My department issues Safariland holsters & I have one for multiple different pistols which is where the qls system rock's . I use a T-Rex Arm's Sidecar for off duty edc aiwb but for duty holsters Safariland is the best . In the National Guard we used the Blackhawk serpa for our sidearm but I believe the Army anyway has completely switched to the Safariland als/sls level 3 .

You may live in a liberal gun state now but you may see your rights start to erode. The few of us gun advocates are holding the line as best as we can. The loss or the erosion of gun rights will start in CA and then maybe spread to other states most likely upper East Coast.

Not sure if it was mentioned yet, but the surefire light switch for the X200/300 you have is the SF (Special Forces “Delta”) Switch. The more common one DG (DevGru “Team 6”) Switch. I remember seeing one years ago on Hackathorn’s 1911, when asked said something to the sort. I remember trying to find one online but was unable to. Guess surefire only made a small batch and got better feedback on the DG Switch. I do remember liking the SF Switch better though, if you don’t want it I’ll take it off your hands.

I have a TRP that I bought right after I got back from Afghanistan in 2011 it was my first 1911 after shooting my grandpas gold cup as a kid my whole life. I still love the pistol I carry quite often when I’m working outside open carry it more often than not still shoots like a dream never an issue and have put thousands of rounds through it. It’s such a great pistol.

TRP OPé2024 TRP guns---no doubt they are well built production guns comparable to `custom quality`guns. What I find odd about Springfield is why they had to include some MIM parts on the TRP at all. At it`s price ppoint they could still make money by using all forged parts (like a DW 1911 or Standard Manufacturing 1911).
Oddly they still don`t support RDS....even the 2024. Not that it matters to me since i don`t feel the need since i don`t compete. As a duty gun....i suppose a LEO might want a RDS as your rules of engagement is different from a civilian`s. Legally. Though I`m pretty sure (edu guess) most real world shootout distances are `point and shoot`....plus, if your`re beging shot at you`re no longer trying for 2`groupings....heh...
1911`s question---is there a mecanical reason why there are no àmbi mag release buttons`É Someone said it`s not possible. But it IS on the H*K P30 :)

I've never owned a 1911 simply because there over priced over hyped and not really that reliable I've shot 3 grand 1911s and wouldnt make it thru a 8 round magazine without jamming every other round then again I've shot 1911s that have never jammed they are a hit and miss platform sure there over a 100 year old design and at the time they where the king of American handguns but in modern times they dont make since especially when you can have a glock 21 13 rounds of 45acp but if I could ever find a highly reliable military spec 1911 I'd buy it apart of me has always wanted 1

@@RogerBarrera Alright after failing I have been searching off and on for the past week and finally found the answer. I think the switch is a TG-11 which was meant for a glock. SF never made the TG series for a standard railed 1911. The TG-17 listed for 1911 is one using the SF rail adapter(MR07) which puts the light a little lower than the trigger guard on a standard railed 1911. I verified from images and cross referenced the switches through an old SF catalog PDF I found online.
