I'd like to see a time lapse of your work day... maybe even 2 days. See your process and behind the scenes...

Taking a walk is good but I would add hiking. I love hiking and bringing a sketch book with me. The fresh air, the exercice, the view, the calm... Everything is there to inspire you! And the opposite is true... Bringing my sketch book to the bar having a beer watching an hockey game (football for you Europeans) inspire me.
I also go back and forth between paper and digital. Recently I switched from Adobe illustrator to Affinity designer. Changing the software also inspired me for some reasons... Learning a new software really made me feel like I had a new workflow and a new workspace.
Once again, that was a good video.

This is a very helpful video especially for me! I don't suffer from creative block when I have client work but when the time comes to upload a new youtube video....oh boy... The thing is that we need to think ahead of the game if we want to upload fresh content. Something you do!

I agree with all of that !
I am a freelancer designer, I always spent my time in my bedroom. I used to run every afternoon, to see people because it's make me feel alive. Don't forget to talk with other people ( you know or you don't know ) because it's help me to release my creative block :)

Great tips. I'd add one to the "getting outside" part and add maybe go for a run. I know not everyone runs, but when you get stuck, sometimes letting off that frustration steam clears out your mind. And when you're running you might see a curve of a branch that fixes your problem, or the way the light lands, or the colour pattern of the clothes people are wearing on your trail match and you're like "Crap! I never thought about green!". Works for me for projects.

Love the tips! Something I've tried: Reading fiction books again. I've had some problems with visualizing my work before I begin and was reflecting back on high school when I had a wicked imagination and could build things in my head (legos and math equations mainly...) I realized that in high school I read fiction books all the time and had to visualize things in my head, so I've been giving that a try lately. Since starting that back up, I swear I've been able to visualize much easier.

I appreciate this video, bro! Super helpful! I take a walk around the church every hour or so and it really helps. "Watch to the end and you will get it or I will give you your money back." Hahaha

Haha.. Strange that right now I am in the situation of the creative blog. And finding ways to come out of it. Have piled up work to be completed by the end of the month and I don't want to produce anything that I will regret lather that I would have done better if I would have not been in this BLOCK situation.
