    Hi Monkey.
I need a replacement wood dash (the on in front of the steering wheel) for my 1975 Stag as it has disintegrated.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks Jane.

Hi Jane these dash's are not very well made from factory and some of the so called replacements are very poor as trying to make them from scratch needs a lot of work and good tooling if I were you I would seek out a good old school cabinet maker who could re veneer them for you if the backing is good failing that its a few hours doing the ebay shuffle. regards jeff

Do you think the thicker foam on the dash cover will make it more difficult to reinstall?

Another of your videos sent me on a chase for mills, which are WAY above my budget.

Hi Darek I bought the wood at a local cabinet makers I think any cabinet makers shop will have some it was a plank about 1.2 m long x 300mm wide and I got them to run the wood through a thickneser to about 8mm then glued the pitch pine backing on overnight to dry then back in the thickneser again to 1mm thicker than the factory size. try and contact someone local to you to see if they could do the same, it makes a much better job and will last a lot longer than the factory one. regards Jeff
