Because I’m a lazy ass really...but in reality, removing the original covers means a chance of the internal padding coming all apart and then you’ve got to do everything. While replacement padding kits are available, they rarely fit perfectly and need some wrestling. On these seats with the padding still firm and solid, there was really no need to replace it. Also, sliding the new covers over old vinyl is significantly easier than doing it over fresh padding...slips right in place. Easy...lazy...call it what you like, but that’s the method to my madness
A major improvement and your helper gave it the ok too. 😊
Nice job Randy! Looks 110% better in there!!
A Heat gun works good in a pinch or I've had good results using a Clothing steamer to get out the wrinkles/ creases.
Nice upgrade.
A big improvement on the interior. Looks great!
Cool technique with cutting off the seat piping for the cover.
Nice improvements. Makes a big difference
Night and day difference !

I'm not sure I understand why the old covers were not removed. Can you explain? Not being critical, but trying to learn. :-)

Wheel balance?
I don’t have a balancer here at the lab. Just gonna run it and if it shakes I’ll get it done in town.
